Third person perspective

It has been nine months since Lothal was liberated by the Rebels.

And it's been nine months since Y/N L/N disappeared along with Thrawn.

Sabine is heavily pregnant and will give birth any day now.

She's currently sat on the Rogue Shadow looking at a picture of her and Y/N.

Sabine: I will find you, Y/N. One day.

Just then Hera comes into the room along with BD-4.

Hera: Hey, Sabine. How...?

Sabine: Hera, please don't ask me how I'm feeling. I appreciate it, but I'm getting sick of people asking me that.

She smiles.

Hera: Alright. I'm sorry. It's just... you're gonna give birth any day now.

Sabine: Oh, I'm aware.

She puts her hand on the bump.

Sabine: This one keeps kicking to remind me.

Hera comes over and sits with Sabine.

Sabine: This one is definitely a fighter. Just like their father.

Hera: And mother.

Wren smiles.

Sabine: Right.

She then tears up.

Sabine: I really wish Y/N was here.

Hera: I know, Sabine. So do I. We're going to find him though.

BD-4: (Happily beeps.)

She smiles and pats BD on the head.

Sabine: Thank you, BD.

Just then Sabine feels pain.

Sabine: Ah.

Hera: What is it?

Sabine: Hera, I think my water just broke.

Hera: Oh, okay. Okay. Stay calm. Let's get you to Rip. He'll get you a room in the med bay.

She helps Sabine up and they leave the Rogue Shadow.

(Two hours later)

Sabine is currently in a room in a med bay going through labour.

Serena and Finn make it to the med bay.

They see Rip, Jacen and Zeb outside the room along with BD and Chopper.

Serena: Dad, we're here. Did we miss it?

Rip stands up.

Rip: No, not yet.

Finn: Where's Hera?

Rip: She's in the room with Sabine.

Finn: Is she okay?

Jacen: Yes, as far as we know.

Serena: So, what do we do now?

Rip: We wait.

They all sit down and wait to hear something.

(Five hours later)

Everyone has been waiting outside the room.

Zeb is pacing back and forth.

Finn: Zeb, can you stop pacing? It's making me more nervous.

Zeb: I can't stop. Does child birth usually take this long?

Jacen: I don't know.

Rip: In my experience, yes. It takes long if your wife is giving birth to twins.

He looks at Serena.

Serena: Hey, it's not my fault Y/N and I were twins.

A moment later the door opens and Hera comes out.

Everyone stands up.

Rip: How is she?

Hera smiles.

Hera: They're both okay. Come on in.

They all walk into the room and see Sabine laying in the bed.

And they see her holding a baby boy.

Jacen: Oh, wow.

Serena: Aw.

They all gather around her.

Sabine: It's a boy. A baby boy.

Rip: Look at him.

Finn: He looks like...

He stops himself when he realises what he was about to say.

Sabine looks at him.

Sabine: It's okay. I know.

She looks back at her baby.

Sabine: He looks like Y/N.

Hera: With your eyes, Sabine.

Jacen: Did you give him a name yet?

Sabine: I've had a few ideas, but I know exactly what I want to name him.

Zeb: And what's that?

Sabine: His name is Y/N. Y/N L/N Jr.

Rip smiles.

Rip: That's great. Y/N would love that.

Hera: Yeah, he would.

BD-4 jumps up onto the bed and gets a closer look at Y/N Jr.

BD-4: (Beeps.)

Sabine: I know, BD.

After that the other's decide to leave Sabine along with her and Y/N's son.

She holds her son close as Y/N Jr tries to move.

He tries to get out of the blanket.

Wren starts to tuck him back in the blanket.

Sabine: No, no. You have to stay in there, baby.

She smiles.

Sabine: I wish your daddy was here to meet you, but one day we'll have him back. And he'll love you so much. I know it.

After that she slowly stands and goes to put Y/N Jr in the small bed before pulling it over to her bed.

She then sits and watches as her son slowly falls asleep.

Sabine: Don't worry, Y/N. I'll protect our baby. And I will bring you back to us.
