(Three days later)

Y/N's P.O.V

It's been three days since we lost Kanan and we've been moving past it the best we can.

We all had to deal with the loss in our on way.

I got some help from Dume the Loth-wolf for that.

He gave me a piece of stone taken from the Jedi Temple here on Lothal.

I've gathered the other's as we need to figure this all out.

Hera: Okay, Y/N, you have our attention. What's all this about?

Y/N: This stone came from the Jedi Temple here on Lothal.

Hera: The Jedi Temple's far to the north, how did it get here?

Y/N: The Loth-wolves gave it to me. They think the Empire is doing something terrible there.

Zeb chuckles.

Zeb: Okay, wait. "They think?" Did they talk to you?

Y/N: Just the big white one. The white and black cubs can't talk.

Sabine: Well, I wish they told you what these symbols mean.

The stone has symbols with three hands on it in different positions.

Sabine looks at them closely.

Sabine: Hmm. Maybe I could make more sense of them if I saw the temple up close.

Y/N: I agree. We have to go. I don't the Empire putting their hands all over the Jedi Temple.

Jacen: I think we should go too. I know it's what dad would want us to do.

Hera nods.

Hera: So, let's stop them. For Kanan.

Y/N: For Kanan.

Sabine stands up.

Sabine: There's just one problem. As Hera said, the temple is far to the north and we don't have a ship. How are we gonna get there?

Jacen: She's right. How are we gonna get there when both the Ghost and Rogue Shadow are back on Yavin 4?

I think for a moment before getting an idea.

Y/N: I know how we can get there. Come on.

We leave the base and go over to the tall grass.

The black and white Loth-wolf cubs rush over.

I've given them names too.

The white one is Riley and the black one is Shadow.

I kneel down and pet them.

Y/N: Hey, guys. Good to see you.

I then stand and use the force to call on the Loth-wolves.

A moment later we hear howling and the Loth-wolves show up.

Dume comes over to me.

Y/N: We're ready, can you take us?

Dume nods and allows me to climb on.

Jacen and Hera then get on one each.

Zeb: Are these wolves faster than speeders?

Sabine pets one.

Sabine: Well, they got us here in the first place. I guess they can get us to the Jedi Temple as well.

Zeb: I'm just, you know, more comfortable with speeders.

Sabine climbs onto the Loth-wolf as two start sniffing Zeb.

Zeb: Oh, hello. My name is Zeb.

Y/N: Zeb, those ones don't talk.

BD-2: (Beeps.)

Zeb: How do you know? He talks, uh, with his eyes.

Zeb then climbs on a Loth-wolf as it picks up Chopper in it's mouth.

The Loth-wolves step forward.

Y/N: Everyone ready?

They all nod.

I lean forward.

Y/N: Here we go.

Dume's ears perk up.

All of them quickly jump into the tall grass and run through it.

I look down to see Riley and Shadow running alongside Dume.

I then look back to the others.

Y/N: Hold on tight.

I give Dume the signal and the Loth-wolves start running faster.

They'll get us to the temple in no time.

(One hour later)

We're now on the outskirts of the Jedi Temple.

I stand with Dume as the other's come over.

Y/N: They say the temple isn't far from here, just a bit to the northwest. But we've gotta walk the rest of the way.

Hera: Y/N, how do they do that?

Y/N: I don't know.

Dume and the Loth-wolves leave.

Riley and Shadow decide to stay with us though.

Y/N: Kanan said they're deeply connected to the force.

Jacen: Like you?

I look to Jacen.

Y/N: Like us, Jacen.

He nods.

Zeb: Well, I'm just glad they're on our side.

Y/N: They're on Lothal's side.

Sabine: Is there a difference?

I sigh.

Y/N: Let's hope not. We should get moving.

We then start walking.

(Twenty minutes later)

The other's and I have made it to the Jedi Temple.

We kneel down on the outside of the perimeter.

Sabine: This isn't a military operation.

She looks through the binoculars.

Sabine: What are they searching for?

Y/N Let me take a look.

She hands the binoculars to me and I look through them.

Y/N: Wait, both of the doors are gone. And it looks like one of 'em has been cut right off the surface.

Sabine: Y/N, is this really the temple. It looks like solid rock.

Jacen: It's the temple. I can feel it.

Y/N: J's right. We're in the right place. It must've sealed itself off.

Hera: Any idea on what the Empire wants?

Y/N: No. And that's what worries me the most.

Sabine: Well, they've recovered alot more art work. Maybe iccsn figure it out if I get a closer look.

Y/N: Agreed. You and I will go in, Sabine. Hera, Jacen, Zeb, you keep watch.

BD-2: (Beeps?)

Y/N: You and Chopper will stay here too, buddy.

BD-2: (Beeps.)

Chopper: (Grunts.)

Y/N: It'll be fine, Chop. All we need is some disguises.

I need to find out what the Empire wants with this temple.

They've already destroyed most of my home, I can't let them destroy the temple too.

I owe that to Kanan and my mum.
