(Two days later)

Y/N's P.O.V

The past two days have been interesting.

My team and I took over an ore crawler and brought it back to our new base.

We need it to get find out if Hera made it back to Rebel Command and she did.

The attack on the Imperial fuel depot is happening tonight.

Hera and Bode will be leading a squad and they'll be here soon.

I go to join the other's.

Y/N: Alright, everyone, Hera, Bode and they're team will be here soon. Is everything ready?

Sabine turns to me.

Sabine: Yep. We've got all the explosives we'll need to blow up those aircraft cannons.

Rip: We blow them up and Hera's team will be able to fly right on through to the factory.

Y/N: Good. Let's get ready to move out.

Sabine: Yes, General.

They grab the explosives and I go over to Finn and Serena.

Y/N: Okay, you two. We'll be leaving soon.

Serena: We know. Good luck.

She and I hug.

Y/N: Thanks, sis.

We pull away.

Y/N: Finn, you keep the other's in line while I'm gone, especially Vizago.

Finn: Will do, boss.

Y/N: And if we're not back by dawn that may mean we're not coming back. So, contact Rebel Command and let them know what happened, or get through to Hera if you can.

Finn: Got it. Just try not to get killed or captured. That wouldn't look good for you.

I chuckle.

Y/N: I'll do my best.

Finn: Good luck, brother.

We clapse hands.

Y/N: Thanks, man.

After that my team and I head off to deal with the aircraft cannons.

Hopefully, Hera and her team will make it down to Lothal.

If they get take out by the Imperial Fleet around Lothal, this battle could already be over.

Third person perspective

Meanwhile up in space above Lothal a group of X-Wing's and Y-Wing's come out of hyperspace.

With Hera and Bode are in lead in an X-Wing and Y-Wing respectively.

Hera: Bode, are you and your Y-Wing Bomber's ready?

Bode: Oh, yeah. We're ready.

Hera: Then let's do this.

The Rebel ship's fly closer to the fleet.

Hera: Alright, people, let's make this count. Lothal's depending on us. Remember, the Imperial fuel depot is our primary target.

Mart: Presuming we make it past this blockade.

Pilot: They might have number's, but we've got skill.

Bode: Damn right.

Mart: Well, that last part goes double for me.

Chopper: (Grunts.)

Hera: Yes, Chopper, triple for you. Lock S-foils in attack position.

The X-Wing's get ready to attack.

Hera: Fighter group, stay with your wingmen qnd punch a hole through their defenses. We have to get the Y-Wing's through.

The Rebel ship's fly into battle with the Imperial fleet around Lothal.

(Planet: Lothal)

Y/N's P.O.V

We've just made it to the aircraft cannons location.

I've got Kanan, Zeb and Sabine with me, while dad has Jai and a few others with him.

We plant explosives on a cannon.

Zeb: You sure these explosives are strong enough?

Sabine and I place one each.

Sabine: Yeah, they'll do the trick. Why?

Zeb: It's just that these gun towers look alot bigger up close.

Y/N: Let's move up to...

Just then we see a Stormtrooper above us and take cover around the corner.

I then contact my dad.

Y/N: Dad, what's your status?

Rip: We're setting our last charges now. Meet you at the rendezvous point.

Y/N: Copy that. We have one more towr to go. See you soon.

Rip: Got it. Stay safe, son.

Y/N: You too.

I put away my commlink.

Sabine then looks at me.

Sabine: Hera will be here any minute.

Y/N: I know. So, let's do this quickly.

We then move up to the next tower.

After planting the explosives on the tower we go to our speeders.

Y/N: Okay, let's move out.

We take off and Sabine hits the button, causing the tower to blow up.

Sabine: Told you they'd be enough.

Zeb chuckles.

Zeb: Yeah, you did.

After that we go to meet with my dad and the other's.

(Ten minutes later)

We've just met up with the other's at the rendezvous point.

I get off my speeder and go over to dad.

Y/N: Okay, we should he seeing them any minute now.

Sabine points up at the sky.

Sabine: There, look! Here they come.

Zeb: What are those?

I pull out my binoculars and zoom in to see our ship's falling down to the ground.

Some even coming apart in mid-air.

I look to the other's.

Y/N: Is that...?

Sabine takes her helmet off.

Sabine: The entire attack force.

Y/N: Shit.

A moment later we see gunships off in the distance.

Sabine: We've got gunships incoming.

Kanan: Hera, Hera, do you read me? Hera!

Rip: We have to go before they spot us.

Zeb: Kanan, let's go.

I go over to Kanan and put my hand on his shoulder.

Y/N: We'll find her, Kanan. I promise.

We get onto our speeders and leave the area.

(Fifteen minutes later)

While we're on our way back to base, I see Kanan stop and look back at the city.

The other's and I stop too.

Kanan: I'm going back. I have to do this.

I nod.

Y/N: I understand. We'll see you back at base.

Kanan: Thank you. Tell Jacen I'll be back soon, and tell him not to worry.

Y/N: Will do. May the force be with you.

He nods and speeds off back to the city.

Y/N: Come on, guys. Let's move.

We then speed off back to base.

Sabine comes up alongside me.

Sabine: I don't get it. Why didn't you stop him?

I look at her.

Y/N: Because I know if it was you out there, no-one would be able to stop me.

Sabine: Oh. Well, that makes sense. No-one would be able to stop me either if it was you out there.

I smile.

Y/N: I know, babe.

We make it out into the plains and head back to base. 

I just hope Kanan knows what he's doing.
