(One week later)

Y/N's P.O.V

So, it's been a week since my father sent a message from Lothal.

It was a call for help and we haven't been able to go. It's really frustrating.

My home is under attack, my father, sister and best friend could be dead.

The Ghost Crew and I are back on Yavin after another mission. 

Right now I'm pacing back and forth on the Ghost.

Zeb: Kid, will you stop that? You're making me nervous.

Y/N: I can't, Zeb. I can't get in touch with my dad, Serena or Finn back on Lothal.

Sabine: Y/N, you have to stay calm.

I stop and look at her.

Y/N: How can I, Sabine? My family could be captured or dead and I can't help them.

Just then Hera enters the room.

Hera: Come on, you three. We've got to meet with Mon Mothma.

Y/N: Great. Here we go.

We leave with Hera and go to the meeting.

When we get there we see Kanan,  Jacen and Bode along with Sentor Mothma.

Mon Mothma: Ah, Commander L/N. It's good you're here. I have something for you.

Y/N: What is it?

Mon Mothma: We received this transmission from your father two days ago.

A hologram of my father appears.

Rip: The Empire is beginning trials once nre version of it's T.I.E Defender. Intel from our spies in the Capital reveals the upgraded is...

The message cuts out.

Y/N: What happened?

Mon Mothma: Rip L/N's transmission from Lothal was cut off and we haven't been able to contact him since. I have witnessed the threat of the T.I.E Defender first-hand. If there's been a new development with these fighter's, the Rebellion needs to know.

I nod.

Mon Mothma: I also know how important Lothal is to you, Y/N. I want you to lead the mission to Lothal as General.

Y/N: General? A promotion?

Mon Mothma: Yes. I believe you've earned it.

Y/N: Thank you, Sentor Mothma. So, when do I leave?

Hera puts her hand on my shoulder.

Hera: When do we leave? We're all going.

Mon Mothma: I understand, Commander Syndulla. Your squad does work best together, but by all reports Lothal is on lockdown. Even if you make it in, there's no guarantee the Rebellion can extract you.

Y/N: Fine by me. But if I'm going home, I'm there to stay until Lothal is free.

She nods.

Mon Mothma: Of course, General L/N.

After that we leave to get ready.

(The next day)

We're now in hyperspace aboard the Broken Horn, Vizago's ship.

He'll get us through the blockade over Lothal.

We left the Ghost and Rogue Shadow with Bode, Rex and Kallus.

Chopper comes into the cockpit and we turn to face him.

Chopper: (Grunts!)

Zeb: What's wrong with my hat?

Chopper: (Grunts!)

Y/N: What do you mean, "ridiculous?"

Jacen: Not cool, Chopper.

Sabine: Don't make me paint you again.

Chopper: (Grunts.)

Y/N: I don't know, Chop. I think you should consider it. BD loves his new all black look.

BD jumps onto my shoulder.

BD-2: (Happily beeps!)

Chopper: (Grunts.)

(Planet: Lothal)

A moment later we come out of hyperspace over Lothal.

My eyes widen.

Y/N: Look at the sky. Kanan, what have they done?

I look to him.

Y/N: Lothal looks like it's dying.

Vizago: Your home isn't exactly the place you remember, L/N. Better prepare yourself.

Jacen: Y/N, Lothal feels so cold.

Y/N: I feel it too, J. That's the darkness.

After that Vizago transmits the landing codes and we're given clearance to land.

Vizago flies down to Lothal and I see the plains are ruined.

Y/N: They've burned it. They've burned it all away.

Sabine puts her hand on my arm.

Sabine: I'm sorry, Y/N. It'll be okay.

Just then we see two T.I.E's come up behind us.

(Five minutes later)

So, we managed to land, but the Empire caught on to us.

The other's and I escaped the ship, but Vizago didn't.

We sneak into a small camp and gather around.

Jacen: Vizago went back for the pigs, didn't he?

Y/N: Oh, definitely.

Kanan: Don't worry. If anyone can weasel his way out of trouble, it's him.

Zeb: So, what's the plan now, General?

Y/N: I'm thinking we start at Old Jho's. He'll know how to reach my dad.

Zeb: If he's still there.

Y/N: Yeah. Look, we'll split up. Sabine, Jacen, you two come with me and Chopper to Old Jho's to make contact with my dad. Kanan, Hera and Zeb, you guys will get us a transport.

I look to BD.

Y/N: You should go with them too, buddy.

BD-2: (Beeps.)

Hera: That's a good plan. Jacen, you stay close to Y/N and Sabine.

Jacen: I will, mum.

Both Kanan and Hera hug Jacen.

After that we leave to go and see Old Jho.

I just hope he's still there and knows how to reach my dad or Serena.
