Third person perspective

Kanan is aboard the Ghost with Hera.

The two are talking in the cockpit of the ship.

Hera: Kanan, are you sure he's ready for this test?

Kanan: I am. He's already faced some aspects of the Trials. He's passed a Trial of Courage while fighting in this war. And he passed the Trial of Skill by defeated the Grand Inquisitor in one-on-one combat.

Jarrus stands up.

Kanan: Y/N's ready and I know he can pass the final trial.

Hera: What is it?

Kanan: It's time for him to face the Mirror.

Hera: And how is he gonna do that?

Kanan: I have a plan for that. Can you contact Y/N and get him back here.

Hera: Sure.

Kanan: Thank you.

Jarrus then leaves the room to wait for Y/N.

(Thirty minutes later)

Y/N's P.O.V

I fly up to the Blockade Runner in orbit above Chandrila.

After landing in the hanger bay I walk out of the ship and go over to the Ghost.

Kanan says he needs to talk to me about something.

I walk onto the Ghost and head to Kanan's quarters.

I knock on the door.

The door opens and I see Kanan mediating.

Kanan: Come in.

Y/N: Right.

I walk in and kneel down infront of him.

Y/N: So, what's going on? Your message was very cryptic.

Kanan: Y/N, I need you to do something for me.

Y/N: Okay... what is it?

Kanan: I need you to go to the planet Tython.

Y/N: Tython? That name sounds familiar.

Kanan: It should. It's a planet that has a strong connection to the Jedi. The Jedi Temple on Tython is still standing.

Y/N: Okay, but why do I need to go there?

Kanan: You need to face a test and given the way the galaxy is right now, you can only face this test on Tython.

Y/N: Oh, okay. I'm assuming you're not gonna give me a hint as to what this test is.

Kanan: No, I won't.

Y/N: Alright. I'll leave immediately.

I stand up and go to leave the room.

Kanan: Y/N?

I turn around.

Kanan: May the force be with you.

I nod.

Y/N: May the force be with you as well, Master.

I leave the room and go to get my gear and head for Tython.

(Twenty minutes later)

Right now I'm in my old quarters with Sabine.

I've told her about my trip to Tython.

Sabine: So, how are you getting there? The Shadow is on Jedha.

Y/N: Hera's letting borrow the Phantom.

She sighs.

Sabine: I still feel like I should be going with you. I don't like you going off without me. Who's gonna watch your back?

I smile.

Y/N: Babe, I'll be okay. I'm going to a planet where there's no Imperial presence. Though I do think you're very cute when you're worried.

She giggles.

Sabine: Shut up.

I hold her close.

Y/N: It'll be okay, Sabine. I'll be back before you even realise I'm gone. I need to do this alone.

She nods.

Sabine: Okay, I understand. Just promise me you'll be careful.

Y/N: I will, I promise.

We lean in and kiss.

A moment later we pull away.

Y/N: I'll see you soon.

Sabine: Bye, Flyboy.

We pull away and BD-2 comes over to me.

BD-2: (Beeps.)

Y/N: You stay here with Sabine, buddy. I'll be back soon.

BD-2: (Beeps.)

Y/N: I will, BD. You take care of Sabine for me, okay?

BD-2: (Happily beeps.)

Y/N: I know you do, buddy.

I leave the room and go to the Phantom.

After taking off I fly the Phantom out into space.

Just then Hera comes over the comms.

Hera: Y/N, are you there?

Y/N: I'm here, Hera. What's up?

Hera: I just wanted to say good luck with your test. And be careful on Tython.

Y/N: Thanks, Hera. And I'll be okay.

I plot the coordinates to Tython and take off into hyperspace.

(Three hours later)

(Planet: Tython)

After a few hours I come out of hyperspace above Tython.

I sigh.

Y/N: Okay, I'm here.

I fly the Phantom down to Tython and search for the Jedi Temple.

A moment later I see the temple nearby.

Y/N: There it is.

I land the Phantom down near the steps of the temple.

I then walk out of the ship and feel the wind hit my face.

After that I close my eyes and I can feel the force all around me.

This planet has a strong connection to the force. I can feel both the light and dark sides of the force.

Y/N: Whoa.

I open my eyes.

Y/N: Okay, time to find out what this test is.

I walk up the steps and go to the entrance of the temple.

I use the force to gently push the doors open.

Once I'm inside I feel the strength in the force on Tython get stronger.

After a looking around for a few minutes I come across a big room.

It has chairs in a semi-circle around a table.

Y/N: The Jedi Council a Chambers.

But where do I go from here?
