(Five days later)

Y/N's P.O.V

So, the crew and I are now back on Lothal.

We helped Saw deal with the Empire take the refinery and Saw's crew are still holding the refinery.

They're helping the Wookiees fighting back against the Empire.

Anyway, Sabine, Kanan and I have just come back from a mission.

For some time now the Empire has been lying about us and branding Rebels as terrorists.

But Kanan has a plan apparently.

He wants us to infiltrate the Imperial communications tower and send out a signal to the people of the galaxy to stand up against the Empire.

I personally think it's crazy.

Y/N: That's a crazy plan, Kanan.

Kanan: Yeah, but that's why you like it.

I walk off slightly, then turn back.

Y/N: And what would we say in this message?

Kanan: Something the Empire will never say. The truth. We have to let people know what it's really like out here. So, are you in?

I think for a moment.

The plan could work to give people hope. Show them they're not alone.

I smile.

Y/N: Yeah, I'm in.

(The next day)

Kanan, Sabine and I are now currently outside the Imperial Communications tower checking out it's defenses.

Sabine: Okay, I've got bucketheads on the perimeter, and at least three anti-ship batteries around the base. It's not gonna be an easy trip to the front door.

Kanan: Don't underestimate yourself.

Y/N: Sabine, let's be optimistic. Say we get to the front door. What then?

Sabine: I could upload a data spike into the central computer and, have the transmitter operational in five minutes.

Y/N: Hey, I said be optimistic.

Sabine: Y/N, five minutes is optimistic.

Kanan: Three is better.

Y/N: True.

Sabine: You can have it good or you can have it fast.

Kanan: Alright, scan us a holomap and let's get outta here.

Once that's done we see a prope droid coming are way.

Y/N: Is that a probe droid?

Sabine: Yes, but it hasn't spotted us yet.

Y/N: How do you know that?

Sabine: Because we're not dead.

The droid is about to spot our speeders.

Sabine: If that thing spots our speeders, then this mission is shot.

Y/N: I got this.

I use my new force connection ability to make a connection to a Lothal-Cat.

The Lothal-Cat then destroys the prope droid.

Once the coast is clear we stand up.

Sabine: Well, I coulda blasted it and gotten that result.

Y/N: Yeah, but then the Empire would have known something was up.

Kanan puts his hand on my shoulder.

Kanan: Good thinking, Padawan.

I smile.

Sabine: So, it's very cute watching you two bond, but I think we should get outta here now.

Kanan and I nod. The three of us then leave and head back to the Ghost.

(Two hours later)

Sabine and I now have the transmitter back on the Ghost ready to go.

The whole time I can help but think this is a bad idea.

Kanan then comes in.

Kanan: So, is it ready?

Sabine: Yep.

Sabine then tells us as long as the tower is operational anyone who's listening will hear our message.

Hera: And once you guys are done, I'll spirit you away in the Phantom.

Kanan: That's the plan.

Sabine: Because everything always goes according to plan.

Y/N: She's right about that.

Kanan: Hey, what's up with you?

Y/N: Nothing. Doesn't matter.

Kanan: Come on, let's take a walk.

I sigh and stand then leave with Kanan.

He and I then go outside to talk.

Kanan: So, what's on your mind?

Y/N: I don't think we should do this.

Kanan: Y/N, you are up to this. I know you are.

Y/N: I know that's what you wanna think, but look as much as I wish I was like you. I'm just not, I'm not as strong as you Kanan.

I look away.

Kanan: There's something else.

Y/N: Kanan, I can't help by have this feeling that something will go wrong, that we'll lose someone out there, and I can't go through that. Losing one of you. I already lost my parents and my sister. This crew is the only family I've got now and I don't wanna lose that. Ever. Not over this.

Kanan: Hey, we've all lost things, and we will take more losses before this fight is over. But we can't let that stop us from taking risks. We have to move forward. And when the time comes, we have to be ready to sacrifice for something bigger.

Y/N: Kanan, that's alot easier said then done. It's not that easy.

Kanan: It's not easy for me either. My Master tried to show me and I tried to show Jacen, but I couldn't. I don't think I ever understood it. Not until now, trying to teach it to you. I guess you and I are learning these things together.

Y/N: Yeah, I guess so.

After a moment of looking out into the distance, Kanan and I head back inside a prep for the mission.

I just hope for once, everything goes to plan.
