Medcenter
Reymos' POV
How could she? I asked myself as I sat on the ship next to Nami with my Master on her other side. We had our whole future ahead of us! She could have been a Mandalorian with me! Koro sensed my dismay and soothed, ''Cheer up. I have something to tell you. I have spoken with the Council, and they agree that you and Ishi are ready to be Knights.'' Really? I couldn't believe it, and I'm absolutely sure that he felt my excitement rolling off of me in waves. ''Azul agrees as well, and is breaking the news to her as we speak.''
This is wonderful! I thought, my face beaming as I smiled from ear to ear. Zllen was piloting, and pulled us out of hyperspace and to a nearby planet with a decent medcenter. ''You'll be fine,'' I assured Nami. I only hoped that it was true.
Nami's POV
The pain was subsided, so I didn't feel the blaster bolts in my chest and leg. What I felt was the overwhelming sadness of the betrayal of my Padawan. It brought back to mind my vision in the Room of a Thousand Fountains when the man told me to trust only those closest to me. I didn't know that he meant only the original Circle which brought me pangs of grief. If I don't die of these wounds, I thought with grief, I'll die of my sadness.
We approached the planet as Zllen transmitted our codes and got us to the medcenter. They helped me out of the ship and into the medcenter, where people raised eyebrows at the fact of how I was still walking. A woman with blue-black hair and grass-colored eyes looked over and pulled out a comlink, saying something urgently into it. How can Koro and Zllen hold my weight? I questioned myself in disbelief. The effect of the Force was wearing off, and the first pinpricks of pain were entering my nerves.
The woman, Dr. Celia, hurried me to a room and held a 'pad in her hand as she asked, ''Name?''
''Nami Famile,'' I answered.
''Age?''
''22.''
''Of course you're a female.'' She laughed nervously. ''Allergies?''
''None.''
''Medical conditions?''
''None.''
''Anything I should know about?''
''I'm a Jedi.'' Her eyes widened in surprise, but she typed it in.
''Alright, Jedi Famile,'' she began, ''I'm having a bacta tank prepped right now.'' My vision began to darken on the edges with black spots in the middle. I tried to fight it off, but I began to weaken.
Koro asked, ''Nami?'' concern edging his voice. My hearing began to become muffled to the sounds of the medcenter as the darkness was consuming me.
I reassured, ''I'll...be...okay.'' On the last word, the darkness enveloped me, and everything erupted into chaos outside of my senses.
