Y/n POV

I opened my eyes and groaned in pain a little bit from the impact of the crash I just did on the street of Mantle. I took off the seat belt I had on me and check to see if I had any damages on me. I took a look and saw no damages on me, that's good. I then got up and opened the door to the ship and exited out of the crash site when BD-1 spoke to me.

BD-1: Beep boop?

You: Yeah, I'm okay. You alright?

BD-1: Trill! Beep boop beep?

You: No, we are not doing that again.

BD-1 then got on my back where he always will be forever in my life. I then saw a few Grimm coming out of nowhere and activated my lightsaber to have a single green blade on it and went to work on taking these things down. I start off with an Overhead Slash move on the first Grimm, then I did a Leaping Slash on the other one for them to into a black mist in the air. This city is crawling with these things, why didn't they fix the damn wall when they had the chance when we were working on getting the stuff for Amity Tower. I then saw Poe's X-wing ship flying in the sky taking out most of the Grimm that are airborne. I saw more Grimm that are Ursa, two of them are coming at me. One tried to attack me, but I parried it's attack to stagger it while it left an opening for me to strike it down. It swung it's arm at me, but I ducked under it, cut it's arm off and and stabbed my green blade into it's stomach killing it. I got my blade out of the Ursa and saw another one coming at me. I charged at and slide down on the ground to cut off it's arm, he I got back up while the Ursa swung it's other arm, but I cut off it's other arm. The Ursa went on the ground for me to get on it's back and stabbed my blade in it's back. I got off it's back and it began to fade away into a black mist. I deactivated my lightsaber and clipped it to my belt. That was a lot of work I did to defend this city. I hope the others are okay. I was relaxing for a bit until I saw Robyn Hill on one of the big holographic screens giving out a speech to the rest of Mantle. I then began to listen to Robyn's speech.

Robyn: Atlas. Mantle. I know you're scared. I'm here with, General Ironwood and we have a message for you. What he has to say makes it sound unbelievable, but it is all true.

Ironwood: An ancient and terrible evil lies outside of our kingdom. It was responsible for the destruction of Beacon, the attack on Haven, and the reason attacks on Mantle. This powerful force goes by the name of Salem.

You: He's doing it.

BD-1: Beep boop.

Ironwood's finally telling the people about Salem and her forces.

Ironwood: Salem seeks only to divide us, to turn us against each other. If she can insight hatred in us, then we will lure in the Grimm, and destroy ourselves.

Robyn: Salem herself does not work alone. Her minions have invaded our very city.

Ironwood: Arthur Watts and Tyrian Callows. These men are the ones responsible for reason murders in Mantle and for sabotaging the heating grid, but we can not let ourselves get into fear and panic. That is what she wants. Instead, we must unite and fight back together, every single one of us! This my friends is why I was forced to divert resources from Mantle, for the Amity Communications Tower. Amity Tower is now completed and ready to launch. It will re-astablish all local communications around Remnant. The Council and I decided to evacuate everyone in Mantle to Atlas. I'm withdrawing all defenses from Amity in order to assist repelling the Grimm in Mantle.

Robyn: We must put aside our differences and band together. I fully support, General Ironwood's plan!

Ironwood: And for anyone who finds someone that is helping us, he is strong. He can protect us from this threat as well. He will protect us and the rest of Remnant. This person is legendary and he can protect us all from this destruction that Salem and her forces had caused. He is called a Jedi. If you see him, he will protect you. He will lead you to a safe place.

Robyn: And he can stop Salem and her forces in order to make our kingdom and Remnant safe. He will do whatever it takes to safe all of us. If you are hearing this right now if you're out there, thank you for everything for what you have did for all of us. If you have made it to your local shelters, stay put, help is on the way. And for those who are in sector seventeen, I'll be seeing you personally.

The screen then shut off when I heard Ironwood and Robyn talking about me. This brought a smile on my face when they brought me up and told them everything about me. I then put my two fingers on my earpiece to contact Poe.

You: Poe, please tell me you heard all of that?

Poe on comm: Of course I heard I all of that, you're a legend, man!

You: Damn right I am!

Poe on comm: Congratulations, Y/n! All right, I'll meet you in a little bit. I still gotta take care of the Grimm that are in the sky.

You: Okay, I'll meet you after you're done.

Poe on comm: Roger that. Over and out.

I then went to go find my team and friend to go help them of evacuating civilians in Mantle to get to safety. I was on an open street area where it's quiet, but then I heard a red lightsaber igniting. I then turned to my right to see Cal again in his Inquisitor outfit, he was expecting me to be out here alone.

Cal: We're not finished yet.

I then got out my lightsaber and activate it a single green blade and got into my fighting stance. We looked at each other for one of us to make the first strike to hit us. Me and Cal then charged at each other to swing our lightsabers at each other for there to be sparks coming out of them. We were to concentrated on getting a hit on one of us and we clashed our sabers together to get into a saber lock.

You: Cal. I saw what you've been through. You've experienced great suffering. It's not too late to let it go.

Cal: Let go? I'm stronger now because of the pain.

Cal then pushed me out of the saber clash and he pointed his saber at me.

Cal: That lightsaber... it belongs to me.

I then looked at my Master and Summer's lightsaber hilts and looked at Cal.

You: If you want it, come get it then.

I then twirled my lightsaber and got into my blocking stance for Cal to come charge at me. We then strike with our lightsabers hitting our blades left, right, up and down to get a strike on one of us. I backed up to get a little bit of distance from Cal. I activated my second green blade on Summer's hilt to go into a double bladed mode while Cal did the same. We then swung our double bladed sabers to continue to get a strike on one of us. We kept on hitting each others blades for more sparks to come out of them. Me and Cal then turned out lightsabers back into single blades and continued to fight each other. He grabbed me and pushed me onto a car and pinned me down into another saber lock. I tried to push Cal back, but he was too strong for me to push him back. I then slowly reached down with my left hand to grab my blaster and draw it quickly and shot Cal on his side. He yelled in pain and he let go of the clash. Cal then patted his wound to see small blood coming out of it. He didn't care about that now. Cal then looked at me and I put away my blaster back in my holster and continued to fight him with my lightsaber. Me and Cal then swung our lightsabers again to get a strike on us to see more sparks coming out of the sabers. We then clashed our sabers again, but we struggled to get one of our hilts out of each others hands. Cal then forced my lightsaber hilt out of my hands and it deactivated itself and it went into the snow where the hilt was sticking out. Cal then kicked me to get on the ground on the open road area. BD-1 then got off my back and went to safety where he can't get hurt by Cal. Cal then went to go stab his red lightsaber blade into me to finish me off, but I grabbed his hilt to push it back so that I can get free. I was pushing Cal's lightsaber back and he was pushing his lightsaber down hard to finish me off. But then Cal started to move his blade on to my left chest and he slowly stabbed it into me burning my chest while I was screaming in agony.

You: AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Ruby POV

I finished off a Beowolf with Harriet and Penny by my side to see that we've cleared the streets of Mantle for the people to evacuate to get to safety.

Y/n: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I then heard someone screaming in agony from something. Wait... no. It's Y/n. He's in trouble. I have to go save him.

Harriet: Go, he needs you!

Penny: We got this covered, Ruby. Right now, Y/n needs your help.

I nodded my head that I understood them. I quickly put away my Crescent Rose, ran and rushed to go to the sound where the scream came from and go save Y/n from whatever he is fighting with.

Ruby: Hold on, Y/n. I'm coming.

Y/n POV

I then started to fully push Cal's lightsaber out of me and kicked Cal in the stomach to get him off of me. I got up from the ground in a weak way from Cal's lightsaber being stabbed almost in my left chest. Cal then came at me and knocked me out unconscious with his lightsaber hilt and I went to the ground with my eyes closed.

Third Person view

Cal deactivated his Inquisitor lightsaber and clipped it to his belt. Meanwhile in the background, Ruby saw that it was Cal Kestis who was fighting Y/n. Ruby saw that Y/n was on the ground with her eyes widened in sadness and there were tears rolling down her eyes when she saw Y/n on the ground with his eyes closed. Ruby reached out her right hand at Y/n.

Ruby: No.

Ruby said with her tears rolling down from her eyes. Meanwhile, Cal was using the Force to pull Y/n's lightsaber hilt out of the snow for him to claim his reward from doing his job.

(Music Playing)

The hilt was slowly getting out of the snow, but it was being pulled by something else. Cal then grunts in frustration and continued to pull the hilt out of the snow with the Force. The hilt then fully got out of the snow, but the hilt didn't went into Cal's hand. He moved his head to his right for the hilt to almost hit him in the face and the lightsaber hilt then went into someone else's hand.

The screen then showed that it was Ruby Rose who used the Force to pull the lightsaber hilt onto her right hand. Ruby was so shocked that she just now used the Force for the first time in her life that she looked at Y/n's lightsaber hilt. Cal was looking at Ruby who was surprised that she used the Force to get Y/n's lightsaber hilt out of the snow. Ruby then looked at Cal while she got Y/n's lightsaber on her right side and activate it to show a single green blade. Cal then got out his Inquisitor lightsaber again and activate it to show a single red blade. Ruby then stood in shock for a second, then she did a battle cry to charge at Cal using Y/n's lightsaber to strike at him. Cal then blocked Ruby's attack. Ruby and Cal then continued to swing their sabers at each other to get a strike on one of them. Ruby was concentrated on getting a hit on Cal for her to damage him. They continued to swing their sabers at each other to see sparks coming out of them. Cal was swinging his saber at Ruby for her to lose her balance to block Cal's attack. Ruby and Cal then went into a saber clash for one of them to push each other back. Ruby was struggling to push Cal back with Y/n's lightsaber.

Cal: You need a teacher! I can show you the ways of the Force!

Ruby was still struggling to push back Cal, but then she heard his word what Cal said to her.

Ruby: (whispering) The Force.

Ruby then closed her eyes while she was still in the saber clash with Cal. Ruby calmed down and focused on her mind for what she was about to do for the first time in her life... to become a Jedi. Ruby then opened her eyes and got out the saber clash from Cal. Ruby swing her lightsaber at Cal for him lose his defense a little bit. Ruby then strike at Cal's leg for him to scream in pain and got on the floor. Cal then got back up limping a little bit from the damage he took from Ruby. Cal then swung his saber at Ruby for her to dodge Cal's attack. Ruby then strike at Cal again hitting his left shoulder for him to scream in pain again and walk backwards away from Ruby. Ruby then raised her lightsaber and brought it down to strike Cal, he blocked her attack and Ruby kicked him on the ground. Cal was getting up slowly and groaning in pain for what Ruby did to him. Cal then swung his lightsaber for Ruby to block and she swung her saber at Cal, but he grabbed her right wrist from being attacked by Ruby. Ruby then grabbed Cal's wrist as well for the two of them to struggle in their position that their in right now. Ruby was strong enough to bring Cal's lightsaber on the ground with his wrist still held by her. Cal then struggle to get his saber back to him, but Ruby wasn't going to let him do that. Ruby then kicked Cal's lightsaber out of his hand and she strike at his right face to leave a burning scar on his face while Cal screamed in pain. Cal then went on the ground while he now has the burning scar on the right side of his face. Cal then had a face for mercy for Ruby to raise her lightsaber in the air to strike down Cal.

(Music End)

Cal: If you strike me down... then you will turn to the dark side.

Ruby: You killed the man I love!

Ruby then was about to strike down Cal.

Y/n: Ruby!

Ruby then stopped that she realized what voice she heard. Ruby then looked to her right to see that Y/n has BD-1 on his back while looking from his shoulder. Y/n was so in shocked that he now saw that Ruby has his lightsaber hilt being held by her.

Y/n POV

I couldn't believe my eyes what I'm seeing right now. Ruby was holding my lightsaber and she was about to strike down Cal. If Ruby strikes him down, then she will turn to the dark side. I have to stop her from doing that.

You: Ruby... please, don't do it. If you strike him down in anger, you'll be something more dangerous. Don't let anger control you.

Ruby then realized what she is doing and deactivated my lightsaber. Ruby then came running to me and hugged me, knowing when she thought I was dead. I hugged her back for this moment with me and her together while she was crying in the hug. Ruby thought I was dead, but I'm not. I'm alive and still breathing. Me and Ruby then let go of the hug and she gave me back my lightsaber hilt. I then noticed that Ruby used the Force on my hilt, she actually did it. I looked at Ruby in a surprise look that I noticed that she actually used the Force. Ruby had a sad smile on her face to know that she actually did it. I then looked to see Cal on the ground with a burning scar on his right face. I then went up to him and knelt down on one knee to talk to him.

You: You don't deserve any of this, Cal. It's still not too late to let it go. Just think about it for once. It's over, Cal.

Cal: Nothing is ever truly over.

You: This fight is over. I know the darkness that is eating you up inside and every day we choose to either feed it... or fight it.

Cal: It's too late, Y/n.

You: No. It's not. Summer knew the choices that she made took all your choices away. And she failed you, Cal. Summer failed you. And she is so very sorry. Summer didn't want you to be this way, she wanted you to do the right thing. You thought that she betrayed you, but she didn't. She tried to save you. You can't be like this forever, Cal. Think about it. Everything you want to do what's wrong, it bring this world into more chaos, and it will be destroyed. Come back to the light. Is either you come back on the good side, or continue to be on the wrong side. It's up to you to make that decision, Cal. Think about it.

I then stand up to leave Cal to make the right decision for him to join back to the light side of the Force. Me and Ruby then head back to the others to meet up with them.

(A few minutes later)

Me and Ruby met up with the others and saw Poe's X-wing ship landed on the open road area. He got out of his ship and took of his helmet and BB8 followed Poe to come join us.

Poe: We did it!

BB8: Beep-weeeeep!

Yang: Yeah we did!

Harriet: Nice work here, everyone. Y/n, it's good to see that you're okay. We'll get someone to patch up that wound of yours.

You: Thanks, Harriet.

Blake: What happened out there? We heard screaming in pain from a far distance while we were fighting the Grimm.

You: I was attacked by, Cal again. But a Jedi saved me.

Weiss: What?

Yang: No way!

Blake: Where is he or she right now?

I then looked at Ruby who had a smile on her face that she is now a Jedi in training.

You: Ruby was the who saved me, and she is now a Jedi in training.

All of my team and friends gasped in shock from what they heard from me just now. Ruby is now a Jedi in training, and I will teach her the ways of the Force when all of this is over and rank her as my Padawan.

Yang: Ruby is a Jedi in training? My little sister is going to be trained and marrying you?

Ruby: Yes, Yang. I am.

Yang then had tears of happiness in her eyes and Ruby and Yang went to go hug each other for this beautiful moment that their experiencing right now.

Yang: I can't believe my little sister is going to be trained as a Jedi.

Yang said between her tears of happiness and Ruby cried in happiness too. After a few seconds of them hugging, they let go of each other to wipe away the tears they have in their eyes.

Poe: You said that you're going to be a Jedi?

Ruby: Yes, Poe.

Poe: Hang on. I got something that you might need.

Poe then went back to his ship to get something out of it. Poe then came back to Ruby and gave her something.

Poe: You're gonna need this for now on.

Poe then gave Ruby a lightsaber hilt for her to take. I never expected for Poe to have this hilt.

Ruby: You're... giving this to me?

Poe: Of course. Someone used to use this while we were still fighting The First Order, but now it's yours.

Ruby then looked at her new lightsaber hilt to examine it and found the activation switch. Poe stepped back for Ruby to activate her new lightsaber to show a blue blade. Ruby was so happy that she now has her own lightsaber. Ruby then deactivated her lightsaber and clipped it to her belt where it now stays with her forever and looked at Poe.

Ruby: Thank you, Poe.

Poe: No problem, Ruby. I hope you train well with your new Master.

Ruby: I will.

Kieron: Did I miss anything?

We all saw Kieron coming down from the sky with his jetpack on him and landed on the ground, took off his helmet and went to us.

You: You're right on time, Kieron.

Kieron: I'm always on time, sir. So, what happened while I was fighting off the Grimm?

You: It looks like we have a Jedi in training on our side.

I then put my right arm around Ruby to show everyone that Ruby is now a Jedi in training.

Kieron: You're saying that Ruby Rose is now a Jedi in training?

Ruby: Yes I am, Kieron.

Kieron then went up to Ruby, smile and salute at her.

Kieron: Good luck on your training, Miss Rose.

Ruby then salute back at Kieron.

Ruby: Thank you, Kieron.

They stopped saluting at each other and we all stand here for a few seconds. Me, my team and friends then all gathered around in a group hug to enjoy this time of night for now. We all then let go of the hug and we heard Harriet spoke to us.

Harriet: Come on everyone, the General needs us back on Atlas.

Kieron: Yes, ma'am.

We all then entered a ship to head back to Atlas to see what the General wants from us now. I can't believe Ruby is a Jedi in training now. I guess she's going to be just like her mother now. Summer used to be a Jedi before me, but now Ruby is starting to become one, and this is only the beginning for her. When this is all over, I will teach her the ways of the Force, after we get married. I would be honored to train her as my Padawan Learner. Ruby will have the skills to use the Force and the lightsaber Poe gave her. I will do this for the rest of my life and continue to keep fighting.
