Y/n POV

Location: Atlas Academy

I was sleeping on the top bunk bed with Ruby on my side, we had a good time last night, it was really good. I slowly opened my eyes to see that I was still in bed. I fully open my eyes and I feel a little cold, I don't know why? I looked to see that my shirt was missing that I had on, I was shirtless for now. I looked to my left to see Ruby was wearing her Atlas sleeping wear like last time. I guess me and Ruby had a lot of fun last night. I smiled a little bit from what me and Ruby did last night, that was my birthday present she gave me last night. It was good. I heard Ruby slowly waking up from her sleep, she yawned and slowly opened her eyes.

You: Morning, Ruby.

Ruby: (tired voice) Morning, Y/n.

Ruby closed her eyes again, but she fully opened them to see me that I was shirtless, revealing my clear skin, well except for the scars that I have on my right neck and face. Ruby blushed a little bit and smiled at me while I smiled back. We were like this for a few seconds until I broke the silence.

You: Last night was amazing.

Ruby: Yeah. I knew you would love it.

You: Oh, I did.

Me and Ruby laughed a little bit, knowing that we had a good time with each other last night. Me and Ruby kissed each other on the lips for a good wake up moment. I couldn't hold it, I had such a great time with her last night. I kissed Ruby fully and she did the same, having a small make out session in here during the morning. Ruby got on top of me and she continued to make this session a bit more heated. I put my arms around her, and Ruby put her hands on my cheeks to make this last a little bit longer. We had so much fun in this time, I really enjoyed this. I love Ruby so much that I can never let her go. We were having a good time again, but then I heard someone knocking on the door.

Clover: Hey, you two! I hope you guys are up, because we have some work to do for Amity Tower. So rise and shine!

Me and Ruby stopped and we heard that it was Clover at the door, good thing Ruby locked it so no one can enter while we were like this. We looked at each other for a few seconds until I broke the silence.

You: Well, we should probably get ready.

Ruby: Yeah.

You: We sure had a lot of fun.

Ruby: Yep.

Ruby gave me a quick kiss on the lips and let go. She got off the bed and went to go change the bathroom that was in here. I got off the bunk bed found my outlaw long sleeve shirt, cloak cape poncho, and my winter black denim jacket on the bottom of the bunk bed. I picked them up and started to them back on. Like usual, I put on my glove on my left hand, brown leather cuff bracelet on my right wrist with my sleeve rolled up, and my vest under the poncho that I was wearing under denim jacket. I grabbed my lightsaber that was on the desk were BD-1 is and clipped it to my belt. I went to go wake up BD-1 and he switched on.

You: Hey, buddy.

BD-1: Beep-boop.

You: Good morning to you too. Sleep well?

BD-1: Bwoop.

You: Good. You didn't hear anything from last night, right?

BD-1: (shakes head) Boop.

You: (sigh) Good. Come on, hop on.

BD then hopped on my back to get ready for the day. After getting ready, I heard Ruby exiting the bathroom with her combat gear on with her red cloak on her like always.

You: You ready to head out?

Ruby: Always.

You: Alright, let's go.

Me, Ruby and BD-1 left the dorm to get ready to get to work for the day ahead of us.

(Timeskip)

Me and Ruby head outside at the sight were there were trucks all loaded up with supplies for Amity Tower to head out. We saw Clover, Penny and Qrow waiting for us at one of the trucks.

Clover: Right on time. We were just about to head out.

You: Sounds good, let's go.

Clover: Sorry, but I think we only needed four people to do this job. Sorry, Y/n.

You: Eh, it's fine. In the meantime, I'll just do some other missions.

Clover: Alright, we'll be back shortly.

Clover, Penny and Qrow went into the truck while Ruby stayed for a minute.

Ruby: I'll come back soon, okay?

You: Okay. Just be careful not to get into trouble out there.

Ruby: (chuckle) I won't.

Me and Ruby gave each other a quick kiss on the lips and let go. Ruby went to the truck and waved at me and waved at her back. I saw that the trucks moving out for the day.

You: Well, looks like it's just us, BD.

BD-1: Beep.

You: Let's go see what we can do.

I then went back to the Academy to see if there any missions for me to do for today.

(Timeskip)

I selected a mission that I needed to go make sure that there is no Grimm activity outside of Atlas east of here. Luckily I don't have to walk there. They offered me a snowmobile to head east to the destination that I was going to with goggles on my eyes so the snow won't get in them, and my hood up from the cold. I stopped the snowmobile for a second and looked around the open snowy road that I was on and looked at the mountains, there's even penguins around here watching me from a distance up on the hill on my left. I saw two penguins and waved at them to communicate with them, they waved back at me in response. This brought a smile on my face knowing that it's my first time seeing these different wildlife species. I was enjoying the beautiful wind blowing lightly at me, but I heard something in the sky. I looked up to see that it was a strange ship coming down. I saw the ship crash landing somewhere around the area I'm close to. That crash must've scared away the penguins.

You: You saw that, BD?

BD-1: Boop-bap!

You: Yeah, we should go see if anyone survived that crash.

I started up the snowmobile again and went full speed ahead to the site that ship crashed. I hope someone survived that crashed.

( A few minutes)

I got the location where the ship crash landed around here. I stopped the snowmobile and turned off the engine on it. I took off my goggles and hood to see what this ship looks like. That's strange, I never expected to see one of these landed here before.

It was damaged from the crash landing that someone was piloting this. I saw hatch opening from the top for a person that came out of.

He coughed out some of the smoke that was on the ship. I even saw droid that looked like ball dropping from the top of the ship.

I never saw a droid like that before. I then heard a man speaking to the droid.

Man: You alright, buddy?

Droid: Beep-boop.

Man: Good. Let's go see where we're a-

The man was cut off when he saw me. He took out his blaster and pointed at me.

Man: Hey, you there, freeze!

I put my hands up to show that I'm unarmed, but I'll wait for the right time.

You: Easy, easy! I'm unarmed!

Man: Good. Will you be kindly if I take that snowmobile of yours?

I looked at my snowmobile to see that it was parked near me.

You: Absolutely not, I need to get back where I was and-

Man: Blah blah blah. I don't care. Just give me the keys to it, come on.

He reached out his left hand for me to give me the keys to my snowmobile.

You: Okay, fine.

I got the keys out of my pocket and slowly went to him to give him the keys.

Man: Come on, I don't have all day here!

You: Okay, okay!

I walked a little fast to give him the keys. I gave him the keys to the vehicle.

Man: Thank you. Now if you will-

I cut him off with me punching him in the face and grab his blaster. We were struggling to get the blaster from one of us. I grabbed his arm and flipped him over my shoulder and hit the ground. He was about to get up, but I got out my lightsaber and activate a single green blade pointing it at the man with his hands up in a surprise look.

Man: Woah, woah, woah! Easy there!

You: You done?

Man: Wait, you're a Jedi?!

You: How did you know that I'm a Jedi, are you working with Empire?

Man: Does it look like I'm working for the Empire? No, I'm working for The Resistance.

You: The Resistance?

Man: Okay, I'll tell you about what happened, but first turn off that lightsaber of yours so I can get up, okay? I promise, I won't hurt you.

I think for a second and deactivate my lightsaber and clipped it to my belt. I helped up the man off the ground and he got his blaster and put it away in his holster.

Man: Thank you.

You: So, what's your name?

Poe: I'm Poe Dameron. What about you?

You: Y/n L/n.

Me and Poe shook hands together for us meeting each other.

Poe: Nice to meet you Y/n. Oh, this my friend here, BB8.

BB8: Beep-bap!

You: Wow. I never saw a droid like that before. Oh, and this is also my friend, BD-1.

BD-1: Bee-beep!

Poe: Well, look at you. You got a droid with you too. How long did you have him with you?

You: I had him for a while now. He's the best droid I could ever have. So, how did you get here?

Poe: Oh! Right. So, when I was heading back to base of The Resistance, I got jumped out of hyper space. But for some reason, one of my engines were failing to keep me up in the air. BB8 tried to fix them, but he couldn't fix it in time. So boom! I crashed landed here in... where ever this planet I'm on right now.

You: Well, you're on a planet called Remnant.

Poe looked at me with a confused look.

Poe: I'm sorry, what?

You: You're on a planet called Remnant. This is where I was for the past five years.

Poe stood silent for a second. He then put his hands on my shoulders and shake me a little bit.

Poe: You've been on this planet for five years?!

You: Yes.

Poe let go of me and he put his hands on his head surprised.

Poe: Oh. My. Gosh. How did you survive on your own for the past five years?

You: I became a scrapper working in the south of a place called Vale. That's where I was.

Poe: I'm sorry, Vale what now?

You: (sigh) I'll explain to you when we get to the Academy.

Poe: Academy?

You: Just follow me.

Poe: No. Not without my ship. This ship is called The Black One. One of the most fastest ships in the Galaxy.

You: I'm sure we'll fix it when we get the chance.

Poe: You promise?

You: I promise.

Poe: Okay. Let's go to this "Academy" that you're talking about. Let's go, buddy.

BB8: Beep!

Poe and BB8 followed me back to the snowmobile where I parked it. Poe gave me back the keys for it and I turned on the engine. I put my goggles back on and my hood up for the ride we're going to have. BB8 got in a bag that was on the veichle and I started to drive us back to Atlas Academy.

While I was driving back to the Academy, I saw that there were Grimm coming from the hills running fast.

Poe: Woah! What are those things?!

You: Those things are called Grimm!

Poe: What?!

You: I'll tell you later, just shoot them!

I saw that Poe got out his blaster and started shooting at the Grimm.

You: Hang on!

I started to drive left and right to avoid some of the Grimm that were coming at different directions. There was a Grimm coming at us in front of me. I took out my blaster and shot the Grimm in the head and put away my blaster.

Poe: You have a blaster too?!

You: Yes!

Poe: How did you get that?!

You: Just keep shooting!

Poe continued to shoot the Grimm from chasing us. There was more coming from the hills. This is not good. I put the snowmobile to full speed to head back to the Academy as soon as we can away from the Grimm.

Poe: How many of these things are there?!

You: I don't know! We'll just have to keep on going and shooting!

Poe: Easy for you to say!

Poe continued to shoot the Grimm that were still chasing us. I saw that the wall that was broken of Mantle, that has to be it. I continued to drive very fast to Mantle. I saw Ren and Nora on top of a platform at the walls of Mantle. They started to shoot the Grimm that were chasing me and Poe.

Poe: Are those friends of yours?!

You: They sure are!

I kept on going to the wall that has a hole in it and went full speed. We finally made it to Mantle in one piece. I saw that Nora and Ren finished off the rest of the Grimm and stopped the snowmobile.

Poe: Whooo! That was close!

Poe then got off the snowmobile and I did the same while I was taking off my goggles and removing my hood. Poe then got BB8 out of the bag that was on the snowmobile.

Poe: Hey, you alright, buddy?

BB8: Be-bo-be-bo.

Poe: Good.

You: Okay. Now we need to get a ship to go up there.

Poe: Up where?

I pointed to the sky for Poe to see where Atlas Academy was there.

Poe: You mean that floating city that has wires on it in the sky right, is that the Academy?

You: Yes, it is.

Poe was in complete shock on what he is seeing right now.

Poe: I have so many questions to ask you.

You: I'll be glad to tell you that later.

All of a sudden, Atlas military trucks came to us and a few soldiers came out aiming their guns at Poe.

Atlas Soldier: Freeze!

Poe: Oh, you have got to be kidding me!

Poe said while he put his hands up. I then got in front of Poe to talk to the soldiers.

You: Stop! Don't shoot him!

Atlas Soldier: Sir, do you know this man?

You: I just met him just a few hours ago and saved him from the Grimm that were chasing after us.

Poe: He's right. I just almost got eaten alive by one one of those things, and he saved my life.

You: Yeah. So just put down your weapons, and we can all talk this out.

The soldiers think for a second and they all put down their weapons.

You: Thank you.

Poe: Okay, now how do we get up there?

You: Like I said, we have to get a ship to get up there.

Poe: Okay, and how do we get a ship?

I pointed at Poe behind him that there was a ship that will take us up to Atlas Academy.

Poe: Oh.

(Timeskip)

After I got Poe and BB8 to meet with General Ironwood, he agreed to let him stay in Atlas Academy in his own dorm room. Me and Poe were walking down the hallway of the Academy where the dorm rooms are to find his room.

Poe: So, let me get this straight. You have been here for five years and you have made new friends.

You: Yes.

Poe: And you have traveled around this world to get some "relic" thing you told me to bring here?

You: Yes.

Poe: And to admit that you are trying to save the world from this genocidal witch that can't be killed that you have told me?!

You: Yes, I did tell you that.

I told Poe about what here during my journey in Remnant.

Poe: That is totally not good man. So. Not. Good.

You: I know, but we'll find a another way.

Poe: I hope so.

We then saw my teammates walking in the hallway as well. My team noticed that I was walking with Poe and they came to me.

Ruby: Hey, Y/n.

You: Hey, guys.

Yang: Who's the new guy with you?

You: Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, this is Poe Dameron.

Poe: Nice to meet you girls. And this is my friend, BB8.

BB8: Boop-bap!

Ruby was so amazed that she saw another droid here. Ruby then went up to BB8 and started to pet him.

Ruby: Ohhh! He's so cute! He looks just like a ball!

BB8: Beep-boop-bap!

BB8 then rubbed his head on Ruby's knowing that he's starting to like her.

You: Ha ha. Looks like you guys are getting along already.

Poe: Well, he does like new people.

BB8: Weeeeeep!

BB8 then started to roll around Ruby that he is starting to have fun with her and my team. We all laughed at BB8's excitement seeing new people.

(Timeskip)

After Poe met with my team, I decided to take a walk around the Academy with BD-1. I just needed to clear my head for a bit. Ruby told me that she came across Robyn Hill and her happy Huntresses. Luckily they didn't get into a fight, so that's good. I then came across Weiss and Winter, I wonder were they are going?

You: Oh, hey Weiss, and Winter.

Winter: Hello, Y/n. I wasn't expecting you to be around here.

You: I was gonna ask you two the same thing.

Winter: Come with us, I was going to show Weiss something, and I assume that you might want to know what is too.

You: Okay, I'm following you then.

I began to follow Weiss and Winter to go somewhere in the Academy. We were walking down a light corridor to see some other students and doctors around here. This place is amazing. We then came across two Atlas Soldiers guarding a door, they noticed that I was with Winter and Weiss.

Atlas Soldier: Sir, I'm afraid you can't go this way.

Winter: It's okay, he's with us. It's best that he sees what we have here as well.

Atlas Soldier: Very well, you may proceed.

We went through the sliding doors and went down a few steps and into another corridor. Where is Winter taken me and Weiss?

You: Winter, where are you taking us?

Winter: A place that you need to see for yourself, we're close now.

Me and Weiss continued to follow Winter through the corridor where she was taking us.

After we followed Winter, me and Weiss went into a room that Winter brought us in. Winter then left me and Weiss in the room where it has a window that let's us see another room where an old woman was laying in a coma that has the same hair color from Weiss and Winter.

You: Who is that?

Weiss: I don't know.

I then saw Winter entering the room where the old lady was. I could barely hear Winter saying something to the old lady, it looks like she's dying. I saw Winter getting two cups of tea for her and the old lady. Who ever this lady is, she must be very important.

(A few minutes later)

Weiss: That's the Winter Maiden.

You: That's her?

Winter: Yes. She could pass any day now.

I looked at the Winter Maiden through the window to see that she is sleeping for now, poor lady.

Winter: Until that happens, I'm the only person Fria's allowed to see.

You: So that's her name, Fria.

BD-1: Whoooop-whoooo.

Weiss: Ironwood's chosen you to be the next... W-When she dies. How long have you known?

Winter: Since Beacon fell.

Weiss: Doesn't that bother you? He practically groomed your whole military career.

Winter: It did at first, when the General first proposed it to me. But the more I thought about it, the more I saw it as a privilege. A chance to do some real good for Atlas. For Remnant.

Weiss: But your destiny chose for you, without your input.

Winter: Perhaps, but I'm choosing it now. I've made my own. And I take great pride in it. That has nothing to do with father, or the General... belongs to me.

I can't believe that Winter is going to be the next Winter Maiden when she passes.

Weiss: I guess we've both had to do a little bit of that. Carving out our own way.

Winter: I suppose we have.

You: But, if you take the Winter Maiden's magic, you will have a target on your back.

Winter: It's the risk I'm willing to take, Y/n.

You: (sigh) Okay, if that's what you want, then I won't stop you.

Winter: Thank you.

I then heard Winter's scroll beeping. Winter took out of her pocket and check to see what it was.

Winter: Speaking of the family name.

Weiss: What is he doing?

I then went to go see what they are looking at.

You: Is that your father?

Weiss: Yes.

I then looked to see Jaucqes Schnee live outside of his manor.

Jaucqes on scroll: If I'm elected Councilman, I've made it no secret that I will be opposing General Ironwood and his senseless embargo that is crippling all of Atlas. It is my belief that these measures are not only reckless, but criminal. With no shipments allowed to enter or leave the kingdom, I know many are suffering. And my family has been weathering the same storm as many of you. Effective immediately, I'm forced to shut down all nonessential SDC operations. If elected to office, I will make the changes necessary to fix what Ironwood has broken. I hope you ask yourself before the vote. "Can you trust anyone else to stop Ironwood?". Will Robyn Hill be able to get your jobs back?

After that lying speech Jaucqes did, Winter turned off the screen on her scroll.

Winter: I think... I think father may have just provided the spark that's going to set this kingdom on fire.

You: It's all lies, he just wanted the city to hate Ironwood. This is gonna bring the Grimm into the city.

I quickly ran out of the room to head back to the dorm hallway to go get Poe.

I jogged down the hallway and I saw Poe already geared up to head out with BB8.

Poe: You saw the news on your device, right?

You: Yeah, and apparently that guy Jaucqes Schnee is making the city hate the General.

I said while me and Poe were walking down the hallway quickly to head to one of the ships to head down to Mantle to stop any Grimm that's coming.

Poe: Those things are going to be everywhere down in the city, and millions of innocent people are going to be killed.

You: Not until we stop them first.

Poe: Damn right you are. (To BB8) Listen to me, buddy. I want you stay here where it's safe, because I don't want you get torn into pieces down there, okay?

BB8 then got out a mini blow torch to light it to give Poe a thumbs up.

BB8: Beep-beep-bap!

Poe: That's my pal! You ready to do this, Jedi?

You: I'm always ready for a fight.

Poe: Alright then. (Pulls out his blaster from his holster.) Let's go teach those things a lesson.

BD-1: Whooo!

Me and Poe ran out of the Academy to go get a ship and go down into Mantle to go take out the Grimm.
