Y/n POV

After my Master's lightsaber was destroyed by him in my vision, I didn't know what to do now. I'm useless to fight now, but there is a way to fix this, and we know someone who knows how to help me with this, and that's Pietro. Me and my team went down into Mantle to find Pietro for him to help me find a way to repair my broken lightsaber and find a Kyber Crystal in this place. We all entered Pietro's place and he noticed us walking in.

Pietro: Team RWBY, Y/n, it's good to see you all. What can I do for you?

I took out my broken lightsaber an placed on Pietro's desk to show what is.

Pietro: Oh my, what an amazing weapon you have here. What happened to it?

You: It broke when I was on a mission.

Pietro: How did it break?

I took a second to answer Pietro's question.

You: It was destroyed by my Master when I had a vision. He told that I'm a failure, a weakling, a traitor, and that I am no Jedi. And now here it is, my lightsaber is destroyed, and now I can't fight anymore.

Everyone went silent for a moment, until Pietro broke the silence.

Pietro: Well now, don't push yourself too much, you are what you are, Y/n. And you are one of the special one who came here in the first place. You are strong, you are brave, and you are a huntsman and a Jedi.

I was surprised for Pietro that he said those words to me, it helped me a little bit.

Pietro: In fact hold on, I got something around here that might help you with that problem of yours.

Pietro used his walking chair to go get something. A few seconds later, he came back to us and he placed something on his desk.

Pietro: This will help you repair that weapon of yours.

He placed down a lightsaber hilt on the desk, how did Pietro get this?

You: How did you get this?

Pietro: Look very closely.

I then grabbed the hilt of it and started to inspect it. I looked closely at the hilt and saw that it has a rose symbol on this.

No way, can this be.... Summer Rose's lightsaber? But how, she's not even a Jedi before me, unless she trained with other Master's when they came here before.

You: This is Summer Rose's lightsaber hilt.

My team gasped in shock behind me, I turned to see Ruby who had a shock look on her face, knowing that she didn't knew that her mother was also a Jedi.

You: When did she give you this?

Pietro: She gave it to me, and I locked it away so no one can find it. Summer told me to give this to someone who she can trust, and that someone... is you Y/n. You are the person who she can trust before she died. You are ready to continue where she started, and continue your journey to save us all.

I looked back at the hilt again, I can't believe that Summer was a Jedi. I thought that she was huntress, but now... she was a Jedi.

You: Can you tell me where the Kyber Crystals are?

Pietro: You mean those things that power up those weapons? Yes, I do.

You: Where can I find them?

Pietro got out his scroll and put and desk to show a holomap on the screen, he then marked the location on where I can find the Kyber Crystal.

Pietro: That's just about Northwest of Atlas. I forgot what is called.

You: The Jedi Temple.

Pietro: Yes, that's what it's called. Be careful up there, there could be some Grimm lurking around there, and most of that place is underwater and most of the rocks are too hard to climb. You'll need these on your journey there.

Pietro into his desk drawer and got two things for me. He got out a rebreather and climbing claws.

One of the claws has a fingerless glove on it, I put it on my right hand, and the other one on my left glove. I then took the rebreather and put on my mouth to test out the oxygen. I put away the rebreather in my pocket, and put the lightsaber hilt on my belt.

You: Thank you, Pietro. I really appreciate the help that you gave me.

Pietro: No problem Y/n, good luck on your travels.

I nodded my head and looked at my teammates.

You: Come on, I got a lightsaber to fix.

They nodded their heads in agreement and we head to the destination that Pietro showed us.

(Timeskip)

(Music Playing)

Me, BD-1 and my team were on the ship and landed near the temple when I heard there was a blizzard outside of the ship. I was standing at the door of the ship and my team came to me ready to head out, but Ruby spoke to me.

Ruby: Y/n, you won't be going alone.

You: Yeah, I know.

Ruby: We came this far since Beacon. And we sometimes get this feeling about what happened back there.

I looked at my team to speak to them.

You: Looks like we're still struggling about what happened at, Beacon. Even after it fell.

There was a moment of silence until one of my team spoke.

Weiss: We will always struggle.

Blake: But that is the test.

Yang: It's the choice to keep fighting.

RWBY: That makes us who we are.

I was surprised of how they said that to me. I then looked at my team having faithful smiles at me and I spoke to them.

You: I guess it's about time I find out who I am.

My team nodded their heads and we all got ready to exit the ship and the doors were opening.

(Music End)

(Music Playing)

The doors fully opened and we all excited the ship with the blizzard that we are walking through. Luckily I was wearing my winter gear on my usual outfit and put my hood up on my cloak cape poncho that I was wearing my black fur denim jacket under my poncho from the cold. We were almost there to the temple and saw a statue of a Jedi at the entrance.

Blake: What is that?

You: It's the Jedi Temple.

BD-1: Bee boo beep?

Yang: It is?

Weiss: You remember being here?

You: It's been a while, but yeah. I remember. Every Jedi comes here as a kid. Or, they did. When there were Jedi.

We continued to get to the entrance, but half of it was blocked. There was a gap that we can all fit through.

You: Looks like a way through over there.

BD-1: Boop trill be-beep boo.

Ruby: Just be careful.

You: I'll be careful with the ice.

We all started to go through the gap to enter the temple to get out of this freezing blizzard out here.

(Music End)

We all entered the temple to see that there was a door that was covered in icicles.

You: I remember this room. Master Yoda melted that door to let us into the caves.

BD-1: Be-beep boop?

Yang: He did it with the Force?

You: Not with the Force. With that crystal. The light passed through it and carried it's warmth.

I turned around to face my team.

You: I bet we can do it too.

BD-1: Be-beep!

Ruby: Yeah, you're right. If Yoda did it, then so can we.

Yang: Yeah, let's melt that ice door down.

Weiss: I think I can melt that ice from the door with fire dust rounds.

You: No, that won't work. It has to be melted with a powerful light.

I then looked to see that the crystal in front of us was hooked up to a cable. I bet one of us can go on to those platforms to bring the cable to that socket, I snap my fingers on my right hand and figured out a plan.

You: I got an idea.

Yang: Let's hear it.

You: Okay, Yang and Blake, one of you go on those platforms so Yang can throw that cable to Blake so she can connect it to the socket.

Blake: Okay.

Yang: You got it.

You: Ruby and Weiss, one of you can push that structure over there with the cable socket to let the crystal move to where I am.

Ruby: Alright.

Weiss: Understood.

They all got work on solving this puzzle in this temple to melt the frozen door way. Yang and Blake got to both platforms where I told them to go. Yang threw the cable to Blake for her to catch it, Ruby and Weiss pushed the structure to Blake and she connected the cable in the socket.

Blake: Alright, cable's connected Y/n!

Yang: Work your magic!

I grabbed the cable that was next to me and pulled it to make the window open for the sunlight to hit the crystal and melt the ice door.

Yang: Alright!

Ruby: We did it!

You: Alright, let's continue forward!

We all then proceeded to find the kyber crystal that I needed to repair my lightsaber. We went through the entrance of the cave and proceeded forward. I took point and saw that there was water here, looks like we have to go for a swim.

You: Looks like we have to swim under to get through there.

I turned to my team to see if they can swim.

You: Think you girls can swim and hold your breath for long?

Yang: We know how to swim Y/n.

Weiss: And yes, we can hold our breathes for long.

You: Okay, follow me, and stay close.

I got out my rebreather and put it on my mouth. I dived into the water and saw that my team did the same thing I did. I looked at them and signal them to follow me through the underwater cave. We began to swim our way through here and to find a way out of this area. The water is warm down here, looks like there's heat cracks down here to keep me and my teammates warm for now. I found a surface that leads a way out of here. I swam up to the surface, got the water out of my eyes, fixed my hair and took off my rebreather for now. I then saw my teammates coming to the surface as well and catching their breaths.

You: You girls okay?

Ruby: Yeah, we're okay.

You: Alright. Let's go.

I used my climbing claws to climb up the wall that's climbable, and I waited for my teammates to get up. They made it up here and we proceed to get the crystal.

You: There's heat coming from those cracks underwater, but it's freezing up here.

Yang: No wonder why I was feeling something warm.

We all then stopped to some edge and looked to see where the kyber crystal is.

Ruby: Do you guys see it?

Weiss: No.

Blake: I don't see anything.

Yang: Nothing over here.

I then started to see light shining in the distance, that's gotta be it.

You: I can feel it, it's calling to me! We must be close.

BD-1: Bo-oop?

Blake: You can see it?

You: Yeah, I can see it. Jedi can't pick any kyber crystal. It chooses you.

BD-1: Boop beep?

You: Yeah, kinda like you, BD.

We then proceeded to get the crystal and started to cross obstacles to get to it.

We're nearly half way to the crystal, we have to be close.

You: The call is getting stronger. Let's hurry.

Ruby: Following you, Y/n.

We continued to get to the crystal, but then I stopped by two Jedi statues and looked at them.

Blake: What's wrong?

You: I feel like I'm surrounded by ghosts.

Yang: Are you alright?

You: No, I'm not alright. It's hard to be here.

I then felt Ruby's hand on my shoulder with a caring smile on her face.

Ruby: We're here for you, Y/n, and me as well.

You: Thanks, girls.

(A few minutes later)

We made it to a gap that leads to the crystal.

You: It's through there. I can feel it. We're almost outta here, I promise.

Yang: Then let's get going.

I then stood by the entrance of the gap.

You: Ladies first.

Yang: You're too kind.

Yang when in first then Blake, Weiss, and Ruby. I went in last to get through.

You: Watch your step, the ice could be hollow.

Yang: Thanks for the tip.

We all continued to go through the gap to get to the crystal. We were almost there, but suddenly I felt the floor break and I grabbed to the ledge.

(Music Playing)

Ruby: Y/n!

You: Ruby! Don't come any closer!

Ruby: Y/n!

You: Ruby!

I then fell through the floor that broke and went into the water. I was freezing down here, I quickly swim in here to get to the surface. I wasn't gonna make it, this is where my journey ends. I closed my eyes to accept death itself, drowning and freezing to death.

But then I opened my to see my young self on the surface reaching out his hand for me to grab on.

Young You: Trust me.

I reached out my right hand I grabbed his hand. He pulled me up out of the water and I was climbing out of it quickly. I was breathing in and out from nearly freezing to death in here. I saw my young self walking and disappearing into the light.

You: Thank you.

I said to my young self when he left. I started to walk slowly to get the kyber crystal and get out this freezing place. I was still breathing in and out trying to catch my breath from the near death I almost experienced. After three steps of walking, I fell to the floor for a few seconds.

Ruby: Y/n!

I heard Ruby's voice coming towards me, I saw her and my team except for BD-1.

Ruby: Are you okay?

You: Yeah, I'm okay. Just... let me get the crystal.

I got up from the ground and went to the crystal. I grabbed on to it and pick out of the stone. I put it in both of my hands to look at it with a smile on my face.

You: I got it.

I then turned around to face my team and showed it to them.

You: I got it!

They had smiles on their faces too to know how happy I was. I laughed in a joyful way, but then the crystal broke into two. My team gasped in shock and my smile went away and into a sad look.

You: No. No, no, no, no, no. No! Ngh!

I fell to the ground and sat down on the floor where the crystal was. Ruby knelt down and put her hand on my shoulder, I just looked away from her in shame.

You: It's over. I failed.

I was on the verge of tears, until I heard a familiar voice.

Eno Cordova: Failure is not the end, my friend.

I saw who said that, it was BD-1 coming at me. I patted his head to let him know that is good to see him again.

BD-1: Beooop!

You: That's good. That's good, buddy.

Blake: So... what do we do now?

Yang: I... I don't know.

I was still on the floor that I was very sad that the crystal just broke when I got it. Now I can't repair my lightsaber.

Eno Cordova: The time has come.

Me and my team saw that BD-1 was playing a recording of Eno Cordova, and with BD-1.

Eno Cordova: This may be the last you see of me. I can sense the doom of the Jedi Order is upon us.

BD-1: Be-be-beep?

Eno Cordova: (chuckle) No, failure is not the end. It is a necessary part of the path. Hope will always survive in those who continue to fight. Like you, BD-1. I believe you will find someone just as brave, and persistent as you have been. And you will help them, as you have helped me. But your memory will be completely lost. Are you sure you want to do this?

BD-1: Beep.

Cordova knelt down to take something out his pocket and placed it in BD-1.

Eno Cordova: Beginning total memory encryption. Only with a trusted connection will your memories be... restored.

Cordova took a second and spoke to BD-1.

Eno Cordova: I believe in you. As I always have. And I believe in whom you choose to replace me.

BD-1 then was shut down from the memory encryption that Cordova gave him. He then rubbed BD-1's head.

Eno Cordova: Goodbye... old friend.

Cordova then turned off the hologram recording and so did BD-1.

BD-1: Be-beep. Be-beep.

I can't believe BD risked his memories for me after all this time.

You: Your memories... you risked them for me?

BD-1: Be-beep boop.

This brought a smile on my face and I spoke to him.

You: Yeah. I believe in you too, buddy.

Ruby: We all believed in him.

I looked to see that Ruby and the others had tears of faith and had smiles on their faces after we've watched the recording.

BD-1: Beep!

I then opened my right hand to see the crystal pieces, there's still a chance of doing this.

You: Yeah, you're right. There's still a chance.

BD-1: Be-boo bop!

I followed what BD was looking at, he was looking at a flat ice that could be used as a workbench to repair my lightsaber.

You: There's always a chance. Come on.

I got up to go to the workbench. I saw my teammates in front of me.

Ruby: This is it. You're going to make a new one.

Weiss: I thought we didn't came all the way out here for nothing, but I know now that there's still a chance.

Blake: You are going to do what's right, and get back in the fight.

Yang: It won't be the same without you Y/n. You can do this.

RWBY: We believe in you.

This brought a smile to my face, knowing that I can fix this. My team had smiles on their faces and cleared the way for me to make my new lightsaber.

I took out the two pieces of the crystal and started to change colors in the light. I can pick any color from this. I'm gonna have to go with the green color. It's time for something new.

I put the two pieces of the crystals on the bench and got my lightsaber hilt and Summer's hilt. I rubbed my hands together to try to keep myself warm. I got out my blow torch and got to work on putting the crystals into the hilts. I used the blow torch to cut open the parts of the hilts and put the two pieces of the crystals in them. After that, I connected the two hilts together and used the Force on the hilts for them to connect to the two hilts that are attached to them. I picked up the two hilts that are attached together and faced my teammates, they nodded their heads knowing what they are about to see, this is it, the moment of truth. I activated one green blade on Summer's hilt then activate the other green blade on my Master's hilt. I then detached the two hilts to make them turn into dual wield sabers. I swing them for a bit and attached them back together and deactivate both of the green blades and clipped it to my belt. I finally got my lightsaber back. My team cheered for me and Ruby ran to give me a hug, I quickly hugged her back and picked her up and spin around with her while I laughed in celebration. I put Ruby down and all of us went into a group hug.

We all let go from the hug and looked at each other.

Ruby: You did it!

You: No. We did it. Come on, let's get outta this cold place.

Blake: Agreed.

We all then went to get out of this place.

We got outside and we saw that the blizzard has stopped. We went to head back to the ship to get back to Atlas, but there were Grimm in front of us. My team were about to get their weapons out, but I stopped them in time. They looked at me in a confused look.

You: I'll take care of these things. Besides, I want to test out my new toy.

My team nodded their heads for me to test out my new lightsaber. I walked to the Grimm, got out my lightsaber and activate it to show a single green blade.

(Music Playing)

One of them charged at me and try to hit me, but wouldn't let it hit me, I doge out of the way and strike the Grimm down with my green blade to kill it instantly and I saw few more of them left. They all charged at me and I activated another blade and detached the hilts to make them into a Split Saber. I swung my two green blades at them and killed the rest of the Grimm that were coming at me with their pack. I saw two more of them. I charged at them and slide and did a double kill with my two blades and deactivated them, attached them back clipped it to my belt.

I turned around to face my team and they gave me a round of applause and cheered for me on how awesome my new lightsaber is.

We made our way back to the ship, I was sitting in the passenger seat in front of my teammates while we're heading back to Atlas.

Ruby: You did it.

I looked at Ruby and the rest of my teammates in front of me.

You: No. We did it. I wouldn't be here without all of you. I used to sit in Vale, and try to see if there any survivors of the Jedi Order. Instead, the Order's hopes rest on a tough blonde girl, an ex-member of The White Fang, an ex-Schnee Heriess, a beautiful rose, and a failed Padawan. A bunch of screw ups.

Yang: You can say that again.

You: BD's the only reliable one. He let Cordova wipe his memories so he could stay behind and guide us. But you're all willing to sacrifice everything; to keep going even when it seems impossible.

Weiss: Failure's a part of the journey.

You: I get that now. Thank you. All of you. And thank you all for having me here. If I haven't met you all, I would've been alone for the rest of my life. But now, I'm not alone anymore. I'm with my family, and my soon to be wife.

Me and Ruby got up from our seats, we put our arms around each other and we kissed each other on the lips for us to enjoy this moment. I'm back in the fight now. And I'm glad that I have people around me to look after me. We will keep fighting no matter what, and we will win this battle together.
