Y/n POV

I was walking in the sidewalk with my cloak coat poncho on to keep me warm at this time of night. I didn't want to hurt someone, not even my friends or anyone. I needed to be by myself for now and just give me some space from everyone. Man, this city is huge. I was walking in the sidewalk for a few more hours, but then I saw something, something almost out of view. I saw some sort of statue ahead of me. I went to go look at it fully and... it's her, it's Pyrrha Nikos.

(Music Playing)

I never thought that they would honor her death after Beacon fell, I went up to the statue and I saw engraving on the stone under the statue that reads," IN HONOR OF PYRRHA NIKOS. ONE OF THE MANY STUDENTS WHO FOUGHT VALIANTLY AT THE FALL OF BEACON". I started to have tears in my eyes from what it said. I went on both of my knees and cry at the statue in front me while I had my head looking down at the ground.

You: I'm sorry. I couldn't save you in time. I was too slow to stop her. I was too slow to stop her from killing you. And now you're gone, because of me.

I continued to let out my tears and they dropped on the ground while I was sobbing in my tears. I then heard footsteps coming from my left.

Woman: You did the very best you could do.

I heard a woman's voice on my left and looked at her. I got up on my feet and she was looking at me. She had red hair, winter clothing and flowers that she has in her hands.

You: I'm sorry, I tried to save her, but I wasn't fast enough to stop the woman that killed her.

Woman: Don't say that to yourself. You weren't slow enough to save her, you did your best to stop that woman that did this to her. You're a brave man who saved millions of lives from the fall of Beacon, and that person was you, you saved them. That's what Pyrrha wanted you to do, to save her and save people from harms way.

I looked back at the statue and wiped the tears from my eyes and looked at the statue again.

You: Did she...train here?

Woman: Yes she did. Sanctum Academy. Everyone was crushed when she chose Beacon over Haven. No one wanted to see her go, but...it was where she wanted to be. I'm just glad that she was surrounded by amazing people.

I looked at the woman who was looking at me with a sad smile on her face.

You: She should be standing here.

Woman: She is. She, understood that she had a responsibility. To try. I don't think she would regret her choice. Because a Huntress would understand that there really wasn't a choice to make. And a Huntress, is what she wanted to be.

There was a moment of silence until I spoke to the woman.

You: Pyrrha never got the chance to graduate, but she was a Huntress.

The woman had a tear in her eye behind her glasses, but she wiped it away and smiled at me again.

Woman: Thank you.

I had a sad smile on me as well and we were like this for a few seconds.

Jaune: Y/n?! Where are you?!

Ren: Y/n!

Nora: Y/n?!

Merrin: Y/n!

I looked to see that my friends were looking for me. I looked back at the woman, but she was gone, she must've left when she heard them. I looked at my friends for a second and ran back to the house where I think Oscar would be at.

(Music End)

(A few minutes later)

I climbed over the fence behind the house and landed in the backyard. I walked up the steps of the balcony, opened the slide door entered the house and closed the door behind me.

Oscar: Who's there?

I heard Oscar's voice. He came through the kitchen and he was wearing a different outfit.

You: Hey, Oscar.

Oscar: Oh, hey Y/n. I see you've ran away as well.

You: Yeah. You saw what I did to Jaune, didn't you?

Oscar: Yeah I did, but I know you didn't mean to hurt him. And I know how you felt back in the forest, you were just scared.

You: Thanks Oscar. I like the new outfit you have on.

Oscar: Thanks, I managed to have enough money to get this.

You: It looks good on you. Hey, are you cooking something in here?

Oscar: Yeah, I decided to make something for the others when their out there looking for us, it's the least I could do for them.

You: That's nice of you to do that.

Oscar: Thanks, Y/n.

You: No problem Oscar. If you don't mind, I'm gonna do something in the bathroom.

Oscar: Like what?

You: You'll have to find out and see.

Oscar: Okay.

I then head off to go to the bathroom and do something in there. I entered the bathroom, closed the door behind me and locked it. I then looked at myself in the mirror and looked at my facial hair. I felt the hair with my right hand, it grew a few, but I think it's time I get rid of it. I found a bottle of shaving cream, and a razor to remove the hair that's on my face. I took off my glove that was on my left hand, turned on the water then put some of it on my face with both of my hands to make the hair wet. I grabbed the bottle of shaving cream and put it on my mustache, beard and chin hair that's on me. I grabbed the razor on the table and carefully started to shave off the facial hair I have on me. I carefully brought the razor down to my left cheek to get all of the hair off, then I did it to my right side of my face. After that, I got some of the under my chin, and some at the bottom left and right. Finally, I shave the mustache on top of my lip. I washed off the remaining cream on my face and dried it off with a towel. I looked at myself in the mirror. I don't got anymore facial hair on me, just a clean shave on my face, this brought a smile on my face as well. I turned off the water, dried my hands, and put my glove back on my left hand. I exited the bathroom and went to Oscar for him to see my new look on my face.

Oscar: Wow, you shaved.

You: Yeah, to be honest, that stuff made my face itch, but I'm glad that I got rid of it.

Oscar: I can't wait for the others to see me and you.

You: I can't wait for that.

Oscar: I think we should go and look for them, they've been out there for a while now.

You: Yeah you're right, let's go.

Me and Oscar went to the front door and opened it, to my surprise, I saw that my friends and teammates were all there.

Oscar: Oh, we were wondering when you'd get back.

All: Oscar! Y/n!

You: Hi everyone.

Nora then screamed in happiness and everyone except Merrin and Qrow, were about to ran into me and Oscar.

You: No, no, wait!

It was too late, everyone tackled me and Oscar on the ground and got off of us.

You: (in pain) Now I know how it feels when Nora did this to you.

Oscar: (in pain) Yeah.

Ruby was laughing and she helped me and Oscar up. Ruby, Weiss and Nora were talking to us to make sure that we are okay.

Weiss: You two had us worried sick!

Ruby: Are you two okay?

Nora: What are you wearing Oscar? (gasp) Wow! Y/n shaved!

Yang: He actually did, I'm impressed with your clean face.

You: Heh, thanks

Terra: Is something cooking?

Oscar: Oh, uh. Yeah, I thought maybe you guys would appreciate a hot meal after.. spending all day looking for us, apparently.

Jaune: It's my fault we were out there in the first place. Oscar, Y/n, I am so sorry. For earlier, I was way, way out of line. And what I said to both of you-

Oscar: No, it's okay.

You: I get it now Jaune. And I'm sorry for what I did to you.

Jaune: It's okay Y/n, I know how you felt.

You: Thanks, Jaune.

Oscar: These past few days, I've been scared of the same things you were. I don't know how much longer I'm going to be.. me. But I did some thinking, and I do know that I want to do everything I can help with whatever time I have left.

You: I'll do the same thing too. I will be on you're side wherever we go, and when we go.

Jaune: Good. This team isn't the same without you two.

You: I get that now. Thank you, all of you.

Ruby: Oh, and someone here really missed you a lot.

I then saw BD-1 on Ruby's hood popping out.

BD-1: Whoop-whooo!

You: Hey buddy!

BD then jumped into my hands and I hugged him and we looked at each other.

BD-1: Boop-bap!

You: I know, you were worried about me, but I'm glad you found me, and I'm glad that I'm back in the team again.

BD-1: Boop-bwoop.

You: Hop on buddy.

I put BD on my back to where he will always be. We all heard the alarm beeping.

Oscar: (gasp) The casserole!

Saphron: We're on it, chef.

Saphron and Terra went to go take care of the casserole that's burning. Ruby then walked up to me and Oscar.

Ruby: Combat gear Looks good, and Y/n, I see that you got that stuff off your face.

You: Yeah, that stuff really made my face itch.

Ruby then put her right hand on my left cheek.

Ruby: I like it.

You: No, you love it.

Ruby: Yeah you're right, I do love it, and I love you.

Me and Ruby gave each other a quick kiss on the lips and let go. Ruby then saw that Qrow was walking up stairs, I looked at Qrow as well.

Ruby: Where are you going now?

Qrow: I don't want to get in the way of your celebration.

Ruby: You've been gone all day, just sit with us.

Qrow: (sigh) Look Ruby, I'm glad you kids worked out uh.. whatever all that was. But the fact is we're not a single step closer to Atlas.

Jaune: Actually, I think I have an idea. But, it's sort of a no going back kind of idea.

Ruby: Well, let's hear it.

Jaune: With Cordo on watch, only Atlas airships have the clearance to leave Solitas. So, we.. steal an airship?

Everyone went silent for a second then the baby made a cute noise.

You: Jaune...you just read my mind.

Weiss: That's not breaking the law that's, that's definitely worse.

Yang: How would we get in to the airfield?

Jaune: That...part, I haven't quite figured out yet.

You: Me and Weiss are going to be transported to Atlas, if one of us cause a distraction, we could get a ship.

Weiss: But, that's-

You: We don't have any other options. Either that, or we'll be stuck here. Millions of people are gonna be in trouble in Atlas, they'll die without our help.

Yang: Y/n's right.

Jaune: But I-

Qrow: Okay stop. Just stop. Look if this thing goes south it's not something we can just fight our way out of. This is the Atlas military we're talking about. Four your sake, just drop this.

All of us went silent until I spoke.

You: No, we're not gonna drop this.

Ruby: I want to hear him out.

Qrow: Ruby-

Ruby: I want to hear him out! I know you're trying to protect us, that you're afraid we can't do it. But right now I don't really care what you think. Just because you don't have an idea doesn't mean we're out of options. Oz hasn't been here to tell us what to do, but we still managed to get this far anyway. We've been in bad situations before, and we didn't need an adult to come save us or tell us what to do. We just did it our way. And I say we do it our way.

Ruby looked at me and Jaune with smiles on our faces, she then looked back at Qrow.

Ruby: And if you think you can keep up with us kids, we'd be happy to have you.

Maria then laughs.

Maria: Looks like you didn't giver enough credit either.

You: She's right, so are you with us, or not?

Merrin: I'm with you on this.

You: Thanks Merrin. So Qrow, what's it gonna be?

Me and Ruby looked at Qrow in his eyes to answer my question.

(Timeskip)

Me and Weiss were being escorted by Cordovin and the two weird guards again from the gate yesterday, Saphron came as well.

Cordovin: I was relieved to hear you came to your senses, Miss Schnee. Many of us were devastated when we heard you attending, Beacon Academy. Knowing that she'll be returning to Atlas warms my old heart. And brights up my mood to see a Jedi going to do business with the General.

You: Thank you for escorting us.

Cordovin: My pleasure.

Weiss: It was time to get my act together and go back to my roots.

Cordovin: Oh, I can't wait to see you follow in your sister's footsteps.

Weiss: Absolutely.

Weiss rolled her eyes and had a nervous smile on her face.

You: (whispering) Keep it together, okay?

Weiss nods her head at me and let her nervous smile go away.

Cordovin: I'm sending two of my best guards to personally escort you two. Make sure General Ironwood hears that part.

You: Oh he will.

I said in a sarcastic way.

Guard 1: Allow me to assist you on your bag!

He then went to pick up Weiss's bag that had Maria in it.

Guard 1: My, what a heavy bag!

Weiss: That's alright.

You: I can actually help her with it, but thank you anyways.

Guard 1: Nonsense.

Guard 2: Allow me to assist as well!

Weiss: My friend here can actually help me with this.

I then looked at Saphron and gave her a sign to help us, she nodded her head to let me know that she understands. She looked at her baby Adrian to signal him to cause a distraction. Adrian then wailing really loud to get the guards attention.

Saphron: Oh, no. Look at that, he's just going to miss you two so much. You should hurry on out of here.

Saphron was pretending to worry about us, while Adrian was doing a really good job on distracting the guards.

Guard 1: A crying child?!

Guard 2: We must console it!

The guards went up to go calm down Adrian, while me and Weiss hurried up to the ship.

Weiss: That was close.

You: It sure was.

Ruby then called us on our comms that we had on our ears.

Ruby on comm: Is everything okay?

Maria: Call me "heavy". It's all muscle. I'll show them a thing or two about heavy.

Weiss: We're on board.

Ruby on comm: All right, we'll all watch our Scrolls, the second that Weiss and Y/n are out of range of the comm tower, that'll means they're out of range of the radar too.

Yang on comm: And that's where Blake steps in. We're almost at the drop off.

You: Okay, we'll get the ship airborne, we'll be out of here in no time, good luck everyone.

Yang on comm: You too Y/n.

Blake on comm: I'm heading in on foot, won't be long.

You: Copy that.

( A few minutes later)

Me and Weiss were sitting down calmly while we watched our Scrolls for the signal that's going out of range of the tower.

You: You're up Weiss.

Weiss nods her head knowing she understands, she got out of her seat to deal with the guards.

Guard: Miss Schnee, for your own safety we must request-

I heard a fight going on at the front I then saw Weiss threw the guards out of the ship with her gravity glyph and a parachute attached them, the door then closes after she did her job.

You: I could've done better, but your way was amazing.

Weiss then smirked at me for my faith in her. I then got Maria out of the bag that she was in.

Maria: Thank you, it was hard to breathe in that thing.

Maria then got to the pilot seat to fly the ship and Weiss sat in co-pilot seat.

Weiss: And you're sure you can fly this?

Maria: Missy, I was the Grimm Reaper.

Maria then adjust her seat to take control.

Maria: What part of "best Huntress in generation" don't you understand?

Weiss: Right, but your eyes.

Maria then got some kind of object in front of her, and connect it to one of her plugs on her robotic eyes and gain control of the ship.

Maria: You were saying?

Weiss: That you said your eyes were in desperate need of repair-

Maria: Bup bup bup.

Weiss: But-

Maria: Bup!

You: I'm gonna say this once, that is actually cool what you just did.

Maria: See? Even Y/n has faith in me.

Maria then got control of the ship and flew us back to where the others are. I sat down in the passenger seat and strap my seat belt on.

You: Hold on BD, this is going to be a bumpy ride.

BD-1: Beep!

We were waiting for us to get back to the others with the ship, but then the radio started to speak to us.

Officer: Manta 5-1, this is Argus base. We see you've circle back. What's your status? Over.

I thought Blake took care of the radar tower. I put my two fingers ony earpiece to contact Ruby.

You: Ruby, what happened? I thought Blake was taking care of the radar tower.

Ruby on comm: I don't know what happened to Blake, we tried contacting her, but she wouldn't answer.

You: What about Yang, is she going after her?

Ruby on comm: I think she is.

You: Keep us posted, right now we got to take care of something.

Ruby on comm: Copy that.

Me and Ruby ended our conversation on our comms, I then saw Maria was eating cashews to make Cordovin very angry on the radio.

Maria: That's the sound of me not caring!

Maria did a maniacal laugh over Cordovin to make her even more angry.

You: What's going on over there?!

Weiss: We have a huge problem.

You: What huge problem?

I then took off my seat belt and went to the front of the ship. I saw that Cordovin was in a giant mechanical titan that shot a lazer beam at us.

You: Look out!

Maria avoided the shot, but the ship was hit a little by the blast.

Weiss: Are you okay?

Maria: I am, but she's clearly lost her mind.

Cordovin: And that, was nearly a warning shot! All Atlas personnel stand by and watch how your leader maintains order.

Cordovin was getting close to the others at the cliff. I know what I must do.

You: Maria, keep the ship in one piece.

Maria: What are you going to do?

You: I'm gonna stop Cordovin.

Weiss: And how are you going to do that?

You: Trust me.

I went to the door of the ship and opened it to see the water below me while the ship was still flying.

Maria: I hope you know what you're doing Y/n!

Weiss: You're going to jump, are you out of your mind?!

You: Yeah, probably!

I looked at BD-1 who was on my back.

You: You ready for a swim BD?!

BD-1: Beep boo-beep!

I then jumped from the ship to land in the water.

You: WOOO-HOO!

I kept my arms crossed to my chest and I put my legs straight to dive in the water safely.
