Y/n POV

I was safely climbing down the path to the vault that was underneath the school. There's no way I'm letting these people take the Relic. I continued to climb down the edges of the elevator of the vault, until I heard Merrin again.

Merrin: Malicos is down here, you should turn back if you have the chance.

You: I can't, I have to stop them from taking the Relic of Knowledge.

Merrin: What do you think this relic will do?

You: I don't know, but has to be kept away from Salem. She cannot have the relic, and if Malicos is down here, I'll stop him too.

Merrin: If you're going to stop Malicos, then I wish you good luck.

You: Thanks Merrin.

I continued to climb down safely to the bottom of the vault to stop these monsters from taking the Relic from here.

(A few seconds later)

I finally made it to the vault, I jumped down safely to land on the ground. This vault is different from the one in Beacon. The floor was lit up in a blue light, and there was leaves from a tree that was lighting up. I saw Cinder, Raven and that woman about to open the Vault, but then I saw Malicos watching them. I walked up to him, he then knew that I was behind him and he turned around to face me.

(Music Playing)

Taron Malicos: Y/n L/n.

I proceeded to walk up to him.

You: Malicos.

Taron Malicos: Welcome. I see you have recovered from your injury. What do you think about this place?

I looked carefully what appears to be Merrin appearing on one of the pillars behind Malicos and looked back I at him.

You: I could ask you the same thing.

Taron Malicos: There's power here. Beyond Jedi understanding. Power that we shall have, when we receive the Relic of Knowledge. I would offer you the same thing.

You: Don't you understand? I'm not interested in power. I want to try and restore the Order.

Taron Malicos: Restore the Jedi Order? Oh, you poor fool, it's over! Jedi fell long before the Purge. Stifled by tradition. Deafened by our past glories. Blinded by endless war.

You: Maybe, but it's never over, Malicos. We stand here now with a chance to learn. To rebuild from our mistakes.

Taron Malicos: Jedi learn? There's no future for them, how can you not see that? It's time for something new. You and me, we could build something different. Something better.

I took a second to respond to Malicos.

You: No.

He then took a moment to respond, but I think he had enough talk.

Taron Malicos: Then Mistral will be your grave.

He then got out his two lightsabers and activated them to show that there were red blades. I got out my lightsaber and activate one blue blade and get in a fighting stance. Malicos then charged at me first and strike at me, but I dodge rolled out of the way.

Taron Malicos: Dodging won't save you!

Malicos said while I got back up. I then noticed Cinder and Raven were fighting too. I continued to focus on Malicos and we started to fight. Me and him were hitting our blades together to see sparks coming out of them while we were fighting. We were at this for a few minutes, but then he used the Force to lift me up in the air while I dropped my lightsaber.

Taron Malicos: I was wrong to think you could stand with me!

He then slammed me on the ground hard. I groaned in pain. I then saw Malicos was using the Force to tear off a piece of concrete on the walls, he then raised it above me while I was struggling to get loose.

Taron Malicos: Die welp!

I was ready face death, but then I heard the concrete break. I looked to see who did that, it was Merrin.

Merrin: You had no right for my kind. No right for my magick.

She then used her magick to shoot orbs at Malicos, but then he deflected them with is lightsabers and threw one at the pillar where Merrin was standing. He then used the Force to crush the bottom of the pillar to bring down Merrin. She jumped off the pillar and landed next to me while I was getting my lightsaber back.

Merrin: Get up Y/n L/n. You're not dead yet.

She then disappeared while I got up and activated my lightsaber to finish off Malicos. He grabbed his other saber back to fight me.

I continued to fight Malicos and kept on swinging my lightsaber saber and his red sabers to try to strike in on us, we then clashed our sabers. I pushed him back with full force, I got his sabers out his hands and kicked him so hard that he hit the ground. He was about to get up, but then I saw Merrin appear again to use her magick to stop Malicos.

Taron Malicos: What is this?

Merrin: It's like you said Malicos. Mistral will be your grave.

Merrin then started to burry Malicos into the ground.

Taron Malicos: No! No! No! No! Noooooooo!

Merrin then fully buried Malicos into the ground alive.

(Music End)

I deactivated my lightsaber and clipped it to my belt and went to Merrin.

Merrin: Let him lie in the dark with his secrets, until death takes him.

You: Why'd you help me?

Merrin: To rid this place of that parasite.

We then saw that Raven froze Cinder with her magic. I guess she was the Spring Maiden after all this time. After that fight they had, she went to go pay respects to her partner. Raven closed her eyes of her lifeless body and went to go open the vault. Me and Merrin followed Raven and watched her open the vault. Raven then put her hand on the massive door that was in front of her. After a few seconds, the door was opening to reveal some kind of place, it looks like gate to a different dimension. Up ahead that it seems to be the Relic of Knowledge. Raven was about to go in, but I have to stop her. I went to go up behind Raven and spoke to her.

You: So all this time.

She stopped in her tracks to listen to me and turned around to face me.

You: That you were the Spring Maiden. You were here to collect the relic, and distracting us by sending in one of your associates?

Raven: What makes you say that? Persistent as you are while you were fighting that old man back there.

You: You think he was going to stop me? I had help y'know. And she helped me out.

Raven: I don't have time to talk with you.

Raven turned around to go inside to get the relic, but I quickly got in front of her to block her path.

Raven: Stand aside.

You: You really think I'm gonna let you walk away with the Relic? I don't think so.

Raven: I said, stand aside.

You: She was right about you. Yang told me that you left her when she was young. And you said that Ruby sounded just like her mother, that's what you said to her right? Maybe you're not the mother or aunt that you deserve for them. You're just a scared woman who's afraid of Salem.

Raven: If you don't get out of my way right now, I'll make you get out of my way!

You: Fine, let's see what you got, "Spring".

Raven got out her sword and I got out my lightsaber and activate it and got in my fighting stance.

Raven: You're just a reckless child.

You: Like you said Raven, I'm persistent.

I was getting ready to fight Raven, but then I deactivated my lightsaber and clipped it to my belt.

Raven: You're just gonna let me end you here now?

You: No, but there's someone here who wants to talk to you.

Me and Raven heard a gunshot coming from the elevator, it was Yang that came down here.

You: I'll let you two have a mother and daughter conversation.

I then walked back to Merrin to let Yang and Raven have their private conversation.

Me and Merrin left them to have their talk while we started a conversation of our own.

You: Thank you for helping me with Malicos. Thought I was a goner for a minute.

Merrin: Yes, you would have died.

You: Right...

Merrin: I am glad you didn't. It is nice to have an ally.

You: Yeah, I like the sound of that.

Merrin: So, what is this place?

You: Where we're at right now is an underground vault. This is where they kept the relics. And now, since Malicos and Cinder are defeated, we can take the relic with us.

Merrin: And, what would you do with it?

You: To be honest... I don't know. I don't know what we'll do with it.

Merrin: You and your friends will find away.

You: Thanks Merrin. I wouldn't have made it this far without your help.

Merrin: You're welcome Y/n. And, I'm sorry for attacking you and your friends back in the forest. I didn't know what came over me.

You: It's okay Merrin. Malicos was manipulating you. He was using you to think that I killed your sisters. I would never do that.

Merrin: You're right. I get it now, thank you Y/n.

You: You're welcome Merrin.

After me and Merrin had our friendly conversation, we heard a blade slash and wings flapping. I guess Raven left us and went back to her tribe. I then saw Yang going through the door of the vault. She walked inside the vault door and went to go get the relic. She got the relic, but then she went on the ground on both of her knees and started to cry. I then went up to her, got in front of her, crouched down and hugged her and she continued to let out her emotions on me. I noticed that she didn't hug back because she only had one arm, she knew that I would be for her. After she let out her tears she stopped crying.

Yang: I'm okay now Y/n, thank you.

I let go of Yang and she stand up. We then exited the door and Yang noticed Merrin waiting for us.

Yang: Uh, Y/n? Who is this?

You: Yang, this Merrin, she's a Nightsister.

Yang: A night, what?

You: Long story. At first she attacked me and the others back in the forest while we were traveling to Mistral, but then she helped out defeating a man name Taron Malicos. Merrin helped me out fighting him, I trust her.

Merrin: It's nice to meet you Yang. I hope we can be friends from time to time.

Yang: It's nice to meet you too Merrin. Well, I gotta get back to the others, you both coming?

I looked at Merrin for a second and looked back at Yang to answer her question.

You: We'll catch up. I just need to have a talk with her.

Yang: Okay, I'll send down the lift to get you when I'm done.

You: I'll be waiting.

Yang then went to the elevator and went back up to the surface to head back to the others.

(Music Playing)

You: That relic... it can save all of us... even the entire planet.

Merrin took a second to speak to me.

Merrin: I'm happy for you, and your friends... But nothing can bring back my people.

Merrin began to walk away, until I spoke to her again and she stopped.

You: After the Purge... I was alone for a... a long time. In hiding, I was... I was scared that they'd found out who I was or... what I was.

Merrin: What changed?

You: A very good friend of mine told me to go out and find my place in Remnant.

Merrin: And you listened.

You: Well, no, but... life has this funny way of forcing you on the path forward anyway. Now here I am. Where I least expected.

Merrin then turned around to face me.

Merrin: A path forward.

Merrin then walked up to me.

Merrin: I will join you.

You: You will?

Merrin: I spent years... of waiting for a chance to avenge my sisters. I'm finished waiting. I wish to fight by your side. Nightsisters and Jedi do not travel together, but... survivors, we adapt.

I smiled at what Merrin said of joining my side.

You: Yeah. Yeah, I guess we do. What do you think BD?

BD-1: Woop!

You: I agree.

Me and Merrin then shook our hands and we let go, but then I realized something.

You: My teammates, they might take a little bit of convincing, though.

Merrin: Then we'll convince them.

BD-1: Beep-beep-trill!

Merrin: I will meet you up top.

You: Okay, just stay hidden until I tell you to come out, okay?

Merrin: Okay, I'll do what you said.

Merrin then disappeared to meet up top to the surface. I saw that Yang actually brought down the elevator that leads back up to the surface. I got on and it lift me back up to the surface.

(Music End)

After a few more seconds of waiting, I finally went back to the surface of the school. I saw my teammates and friends and... Blake, she's here. Everyone saw that I was on the lift even Blake. I quickly walked down the stairs on my right and went to Blake, after such has happened she's finally here, I took a second to speak to Blake.

You: Hey, Blake.

Blake: Hey, Y/n.

You: It's been a while.

Blake: Yeah, it has.

Me and Blake smiled at each other and then we hugged each other. I finally got my team back together after so long, we're finally back together.

You: I missed you so much.

Blake: I missed you too.

You: Please don't ever run away again.

We then let go of each other and then we looked at each other for Blake to speak.

Blake: Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere this time.

You: Thanks. It wouldn't have been the same without you.

Blake nodded her head in agreement. Me and Blake went to Ruby, Weiss, and Yang.

You: Well, looks like the gang's all back together.

Ruby: We sure are.

Jaune, Ren, and Nora then joined us in the group. I think it's time I get Merrin in here. I then stepped away from the group to face them and spoke to the group.

You: Hey, guys. You don't mind if I show all of you a new friend of mine?

Jaune: Yeah, bring him or her in.

You: (sigh) Okay. And promise me you won't freak out, okay?

Nora: Why would we freak out? You're just showing us a new friend of yours.

You: Just promise me you won't freak out, okay?

Jaune: Okay.

Ruby: Sure.

You: Alright. You can come out now!

I let Merrin know to come out of hiding. She appeared next to me on my right. Ruby, Jaune, and Nora freaked out except for Ren he just got out his weapons in a surprised way and so did my three teammates, I got in front of Merrin to protect her.

You: No, guys wait! She's not like before anymore. She can help us.

Nora: Help us?! She tried to kill us!

Ruby: And she send her bodyguards to attack us!

Jaune: And, she literally send those zombie things at us!

You: Guys, just hear me out okay?!

They stopped so that they could let me explain.

You: Me and Yang, we couldn't have gotten the Relic without her help. Merrin saved my life while I was fighting Malicos, she helped me defeated him. I trust her.

Yang: He's right.

Yang then went next to me in front of everyone.

Yang: If it weren't for Merrin, we wouldn't get the relic. I trust her too.

You: Guys, please. Give her a chance. She can help us, we talked, and she decided to join our side. So, what do you guys think?

My teammates think that they should trust Merrin.

Jaune: Okay, if what you said was true, then I trust her.

Ren: If she can fight by our side, I trust her too.

Ruby: I trust you, and I trust her.

Nora: Fine. But don't do anything, like sending those zombie witches or whatever they're called.

Merrin: I will be on your side, I would never do that.

Nora: Good.

You: Thanks guys.

Weiss: If she can be able help to us on our journey, then I'll be glad to have her on our side.

Blake: I would be glad to have her on our side as well.

You: Then it's settled. Merrin, welcome to the team.

Merrin then smiled from what I said to her being in our team.

Merrin: Thank you all, I'm honored to be a part of your team.

You: We have a lot in common.
