Y/n POV

I started to open my eyes slowly and fully open them. I got up slowly in the bed to see my beautiful sleeping Ruby in the bed on my right side, she's so cute when she sleeps. I carefully got out of bed and went go to get my boots, glove and my brown leather cuff bracelet and put them on. I decided to not bring my lightsaber with me for now, I just want to go outside and see the beautiful sunrise. I went to get BD-1, he woke up and I quickly put my finger on my lip to let him know to not make a sound. He nodded his head to let me know he understands me. He got on my back and I slowly exited the room and looked back at sleeping Ruby. I carefully closed the door to not wake her up, and went outside.

I was outside in the back where there was a big area they had for training outside of the house. I sat down on the ground with my legs crossed and closed my eyes to listen to the sound around me. There were birds chirping and flying in the morning sky, this place is beautiful in the morning. I then started to hear footsteps behind me, I'm guessing it's Ruby. I smiled while my eyes were closed and spoke.

You: I see you've woken up too.

Ruby: Ugh, you and your Jedi things.

You: I sensed that you were coming out here.

I heard Ruby giggled behind me, and she went to sit down next to me and I opened my eyes to see her laying down with her hands behind her head. This last a few minutes until I heard a familiar voice.

Yang: You two are up early.

I heard that it was Yang's voice, she looked at me then she looked at Ruby who was laying down on the ground.

You: Morning Yang.

Ruby: Hey, sis.

Yang: Boop!

Yang then tickled Ruby with her hair on her nose, Ruby laughed a little and I did the same and so did BD-1. Yang sat down to my left side and Ruby sat up with her legs crossed and enjoy the beautiful morning.

Ruby: What are you doing up?

Yang: Can't fall back asleep.

Ruby: Eh, me neither.

You: Same.

Weiss: Well fortunately...

We turned around to hear another familiar voice, it was Weiss holding a tray with four cups of coffee.

Weiss: Coffee exists.

She then went in front of us to hand over our coffees. She gave me and Yang a cup.

You: Thanks, I really needed this.

Weiss: I didn't know how you take your coffee, so I just guessed.

You: Eh, it's okay. Thanks again.

Weiss: You're welcome.

Weiss then went to hand over the last cup of coffee to Ruby.

Ruby: No, please!

She said quietly to Weiss.

Weiss: Don't worry. I put blasphemous amounts of cream and sugar just for you.

You: Wow, I didn't know Ruby can be on a sugar rush.

Ruby: Aww, yeah! Nice Weiss strikes again.

Ruby was about to grab her cup, but Weiss pulled away the cup from her.

Weiss: I will pour this on you and it will burn.

Weiss then handed Ruby her cup while she did a nervous laugh. I scooted over to my right and Ruby did the same so Weiss can sit down to join us in this morning day with us.

Yang: Can't believe we're actually in Mistral.

Ruby: That's what you can't believe?

Yang: Well, yeah! And all of the other magic and stuff, but... Okay, you know what I mean!

You: You're one to talk.

Yang: Hey!

You: Hey, don't get mad cause I'm right.

Yang and Weiss laughed at my joke, while me and Ruby were drinking our coffees, Ruby is really drinking her's fast so I wouldn't blame her.

Weiss: I honestly wasn't sure if I ever see you three again.

Yang: Well. Here's to defying expectations.

Me, Weiss, and Yang clinged our coffee cups together and started drinking them. There was a small moment of silence until Ruby broke the silence.

Ruby: I just wish Blake could be here with us.

You: Yeah, me too.

Yang: Yeah, well, she made her choice.

Weiss: What's that supposed to mean?

Yang: I mean, she could have been if she just stuck around. It's no big deal though. We'll be fine.

You: She left for a reason, maybe she just didn't want to see anyone get hurt, maybe that's why.

Yang: You think she ran off just to think she doesn't want to see any of us get hurt? Yeah, right.

Ruby: Don't you want her here?

Yang: Why would I want her here?

You: Because she's our friend, and our teammate.

Yang: If she would be our friend, or our teammate, she could have just stayed with us.

Ruby: Are you... still mad at her for leaving?

Yang: Oh. Whatever gave you that idea, Ruby? No, I'm totally fine. I'm great.

You: Yang, at least just hear her out.

Yang: Why would I want to hear her out? Blake just left without a reason!

Weiss: Okay. Calm down--

Yang: Don't tell me to calm down!

You: Yang!

I backed up a little bit from Yang, she snapped at Weiss with her eyes red.

Ruby: Whoa, Yang...

Yang then realized what she is doing. She blinked and her eyes went back to her normal purple eyes.

Yang: Whatever.

Yang then got up and left me, Ruby and Weiss sitting here.

BD-1: Whoo-whooooo.

You: I don't know why she did that too.

Ruby: She's still can't believe that Blake ran away from us.

You: She didn't have the right to say that about her, she did it for a reason. Maybe--

Weiss: I'll go talk to Yang.

Weiss said while standing up from her spot.

You: Are you sure?

Weiss: It's best that I go talk to her alone.

You: (sigh) Okay. Just let her know that Blake is still our friend.

Weiss: I'll keep that in mind.

Weiss then walked back into the house to go talk to Yang. I looked at Ruby and she a sad look on her face, she's worried about Yang, I need to do something to cheer her up.

You: Hey, Ruby?

She looked at me for a second with a sad look still in her face.

You: I'll just, let you think for now. I'm in the house when you need me okay?

Ruby took a few seconds to respond to me.

Ruby: Okay.

I stood up from the ground and head back in the house and just find something to do for now.

(A few minutes later)

I was just walking around in the hallway just to clear my mind, but then I saw something. I see a door halfway open, I opened the door fully and what I saw was a piano. I never thought that this house would have a piano set here. I went inside the room and open the lid of the piano. BD got off my back sat down in the seat while I did the same too. I started to play the piano and play relaxing music just to get my mind off of things that just happened a few minutes ago.

After I finished playing the music, I closed the piano and just sit here and wait for the day to go by, I just don't know what to do now.

Weiss: That was very impressive.

I turned around to see Ruby, Yang and Weiss standing by the door were I entered the room, they had smiles on their faces, knowing that they watched and listened to me playing the piano.

Yang: I didn't know you were that good at piano.

You: Well, I just thought about playing this, while you girls did your own thing. I see you talked to Yang, Weiss?

Weiss: Yes, and we are okay now. Especially Ruby.

You: That's good.

I got up and went to go hug Yang, she hugged me back knowing that we're in this together.

You: Blake will come back, I'm sure of it.

Yang: I know she will. I'm sorry that I shouted at you like that.

You: It's okay, I know you were mad at Blake for leaving, but just cut her some slack, she was afraid that she didn't want anyone hurt again. Please just, try to forgive her when she comes back okay?

Yang took a second to respond to me.

Yang: Okay, I will.

You: Thank you.

Yang: No...

We let go from the hug and Yang looked at me.

Yang: Thank you, for being here with us. We never would have been here if it weren't for you. You brought us back together, and you came along way since you've met us. We're proud of you Y/n, we always got your back.

I smiled at Yang, Ruby and Weiss for being here for me.

You: Thank you, all of you.

Weiss: Well, we should get back to our business.

Yang and Weiss left the room, but I just realized something. Me and Ruby never got the chance to go on a date.

You: Hey, Ruby?

Ruby turned around for face me.

Ruby: What is it?

You: I just realized, that you and me... we never got a chance to go on a date.

Ruby: (gasp) Oh my gosh you're right. We never got a chance yet.

You: So, would you like to go on a date with me?

Ruby: Of course I will!

Ruby then went to me and gave me a hug and I hugged her back. I can't believe I'm about to go on my first date with Ruby, this is going to be the best day ever. We then let go of the hug so we can get ready for our first date.

You: You go get ready, I gotta go get something in our room.

Ruby: Okay, I'll meet you at the front door when you're ready.

You: Okay.

I then exited the room to go to and Ruby's room. I remember where I put the necklace and the ring in the drawer where I don't lose it. I'm taking the necklace with me, but I'm leaving the ring here for now, I took the necklace and put it in my pocket so that way I can give it to Ruby at the right moment.

You: BD?

BD-1: Bwoop?

You: I need you to stay here, cause it's just gonna be me and Ruby, Okay?

BD-1: Beep.

You: Thanks buddy.

BD-1 then got off my back and went on the desktop to shut down for now. I then exit the room to go meet Ruby at the front door. I can't wait to go on a date with Ruby, this is going to be a fun night. I then saw Ruby at the front door waiting for me, she then noticed me walking to her.

Ruby: Ready to go?

You: Yeah, let's go.

Me and Ruby then exited the house to go on our first date for the night.

(Timeskip: Night)

Me and Ruby were walking down in the streets of Mistral finding the right place for us to go to during this time of night.

Ruby: So, what should we do?

You: Let's see.

I looked around the area to see a good place for us. Luckily we're at the upper levels of Mistral, so I'm pretty sure there are cheap restaurants here.

You: How about that place over there?

I pointed at the restaurant that a balcony on the outside.

Ruby: That look s amazing, we should totally go there.

You: Let's go then.

Me and Ruby then went to the restaurant that I mentioned in front of us. We were greeted by the waiter that was inside that we went in. We then followed him to one of the second floor of the place, and we were at one of the balconies outside with an amazing few of Mistral at night. We then took our seats and the waiter give us the menus to see what we would like to have at this place tonight. He then left us to give us time to pick out which type of food me and Ruby want. While Ruby was look at her menu, I couldn't help but stare at her, she's so beautiful and kind to other people, and being a great huntress in her lifetime. Ruby then noticed that I was starting at her while she was looking at the menu.

Ruby: What? Do I have something on my face?

You: No, no. It's just... we've been through a lot, and we've been fighting for our lives, day after day. I'm trying to save everyone here in this planet from evil. And I'm trying to protect my friend's and my lovable rose.

Ruby smiled and blushed a little bit on her cheeks knowing what I said to her.

Ruby: Well, she's still here in front of you, right?

You: Yeah, she's right here looking at my eyes while I look at your beautiful silver eyes.

Ruby: Oh, you!

Me and Ruby laughed, knowing that we are having a good time on our first date. After we looked at our menus, the waiter came back if we're ready to order our foods. Ruby told him what she wanted, and I told the waiter what I wanted. We then gave him the menus for him to be back with our orders of food in a few minutes. Meanwhile, me and Ruby are making jokes to each other and laughing out of our minds, I'm really having a good time with her. A few minutes have passed, we saw the waiter bringing in our order of foods. We thank the waiter for bringing us our foods and we started to enjoy our meals for the night in this wonderful place.

(A few minutes later)

After me and Ruby finished our meals, we checked out if the restaurant and left a tip for the waiter.

Me and Ruby were walking down the streets of Mistral for a lovely night we had, but then I saw people dancing in a building. I bet we can go have a little dance too.

You: You wanna go in there and dance?

Ruby: Are you sure?

You: Yeah. It'll be like the dance again back at Beacon. I hope you know how dance after I taught you how to.

Ruby: I guess you did teach me how to dance. Okay then, let's go.

You: Alright.

Me and Ruby then went inside the place where people are dancing. Right on time, we heard some county music playing for all of us to dance. I recognized this band.

(Music Playing)

The music started playing, and me and Ruby started to dance to the music in each other's arms for us to have a good time at this time at night. I spun her around and caught her back in my arms and danced again with us moving back and forth and side to side. The music then got a bit more crazy, the banjo and violin was getting into it. I grabbed Ruby's hand started to spin her around again and caught her again and leaned down while I was holding her an inch to her face and we smiled at each other and the music ended.

Everyone then gave me and Ruby a round of applause for our amazing dancing that we did, we both stand up and bowed our heads for the audience in return.
(A few minutes later)

After a few minutes of dancing, we decided to go sit at the cliff side and enjoy beautiful night sky and view of the Mistral view of the lights at night, I had a good time tonight with Ruby.

Ruby: Tonight was really fun.

You: Yeah, it was.

Now's my time to give her the necklace.

You: Hey, Ruby?

Ruby: Hm?

You: I kinda, got something for you.

Ruby: What is it?

You: Close your eyes and you'll find out.

Ruby: Okay.

Ruby did as I said and closed her eyes. I then got out the necklace and went behind her to put it around her neck, I clipped the necklace to make it stay there for Ruby, it looks perfect on her.

You: Okay. You can open eyes now.

Ruby opened her eyes, she looked at me in a confused look. I pointed my finger at her chest to show her that put something on her. She followed where I pointed and looked at the necklace that put on her. She followed my finger to look at the necklace I gave her, she held the symbol of the rose just like the one on her cloak. Ruby had a smile on her face and looked at me with a smile on my face too.

Ruby: You got this for me?

You: Yeah, I bought that when I was out shopping the other day.

Ruby looked at the necklace again to see how beautiful it was.

Ruby: I love it!

Ruby then kissed me and I kissed back with eyes closed with her arms around my neck and my arms around her waist. We enjoyed this moment for a few minutes and we let go of the kiss and looked at each other with smiles on our faces.

Ruby: I love you so much.

You: I love you too Ruby, and I always will forever.

Me and Ruby hugged each other again for the entire time. This was the best date ever.
