Y/n POV

I was in my meditation vision going to my skill tree. I unlocked two skills from the tree, I learned how to use," Grasping Pull. Holding Pull allows me to pull and hold most enemies. Large enimies can be yanked towards me". And another one called, "Howling Push. A powerful Push allowing me to send groups of enimies flying and knock down large targets". The more I learned these skills? The more of them can be useful in combat. I exited my meditation vision and got back to reality. I saw Ruby, Yang, and Qrow in front of a holographic screen where they were playing a fighting game. I was sitting in the corner to meditate while they were about to play the game.

Ruby: You'll never beat me old man!

Qrow: Heh, you're nothing but talk, kid.

Yang: You can do it Ruby!

I decided to go see what was going on, after what they said to each other, the blue ninja instantly strike down the red ninja.

Gaming Announcer: Soaring Ninja wins! Total annihilation!

Yang: Ouch...

You: That's gonna leave a mark.

Qrow: By the way. Don't ever call me "old".

Yang: My turn!

Yang said while pushing Ruby out of the way, for the gaming controller of the scroll went into Yang's hands. I quickly caught Ruby before she hit the wall.

Ruby: Thanks.

You: No problem.

Game Announcer: New challenger approaches.

Qrow: Now, where was I?

You: Wait, you were telling them a story?

Qrow: Yeah, while you were meditating back there, I told them some of my story.

Ruby: You were telling us about your last mission!

You: This oughta be good.

I sat down next to Ruby.

Qrow: Right, right. I come across by a small village in the swamps west of Mistral. Right off the bat, I knew something wasn't right.

Ruby: What were you doing there?

You: Your question is as good as mine.

Qrow: I needed information. Tired of battling Grimm along the way, I decided to start my search at the town's Inn. The place was crawling with low-lifes and thugs, even a few Huntsmen I could only assume had been hired by less than reputable people for less respectable jobs. And that's when it happened.

Yang: What happened?

Qrow: I was defeated... by the mere sight... of the Innerkeeper's skirt length!

After Qrow said that, he defeated Yang's fighter in the game. Then she threw a pillow at Qrow, which he caught quickly.

Gaming Announcer: Soaring Ninja wins! Total annihilation!

Yang: You are the worst!

Me, Ruby, Qrow, and BD-1 were laughing at Yang for her losing the fight, but she'll get him next time.

Qrow: Best two out of three?

Ruby went to go sit on one of the beds.

Ruby: So Uncle Qrow, did you get in trouble with Ozpin?

Qrow: Nah, me and Oz go way back. We're cool.

Yang: *scoff* Cool for an old guy.

Qrow: Not funny.

You: He's not even that old.

Qrow: Thank you.

Ruby: Hey, so, what are you doing here anyway? I thought Dad said you'd be away on a mission for, like... ever.

Gaming Announcer: Ready! Fight!

Qrow: Well, a professional Hunstman like myself is expected to get results, as soon as possible.

Ruby: Yeah, I get that. We're pretty much pros, too.

Qrow: Oh really?

Yang: Pshh, yeah! Read the news sometime! We totally saved Vale while you were gone.

Qrow: Funny, because I heard Vale suffered a Grimm attack after you almost managed to stop a train.

Gaming Announcer: Soaring Ninja wins! Total annihilation!

Yang got angry again for losing.

Qrow: But they don't give out metals for "almost".

Ruby: They do, and they're called silver!

Yang: Well, we helped take down Roman Torchwick. He's locked up in Ironwood's ship and crime's been down ever since. That's basically a bounty mission.

Qrow: Sure, you maybe acting as Huntresses, and Hunstman, but your not thinking like one. You really think four girls, one guy, his little friend he has, and their friends could end all crime in a Kingdom?

Ruby: I mean, I did until you said that.

Ruby said while poking her index fingers.

Qrow: Well, wanna have a good fight with me kid?

You: Pshh, I can beat you with my eyes closed.

Qrow: Bet.

You: For once, 10 Lien, for me to show you that I can beat you with my eyes closed.

Qrow: You're on!

Yang passed me her controller for the screen and I got ready to fight.

Gaming Announcer: New challenger approaches. Ready.

I closed my eyes and focus on using the Force to sense the movement of the fighters on the screen.

Game Announcer: Fight!

The Announcer said while I was moving my thumbs on the controller. I heard some fighting noises, and I'm hearing my opponent getting hurt, and I heard a slash noise and the Announcer.

Game Announcer: Challenger wins! Total annihilation!

I opened my eyes to see that I have defeated Qrow's ninja. He had a surprised look on his from how I had beat him with my eyes closed, while I had a smile on my face.

You: And that's how you do it.

Yang and Ruby: Wow!

Qrow: Good game Y/n.

Qrow said while he was reaching into his pocket to take out 10 Lien, he then gave me the money and I put it in my wallet that I that I got and put it back into my pocket. Then Qrow started to speak again

Qrow: Violence hasn't stopped until Roman got nabbed. It stopped. Completely. No White Fang activity anywhere around the city. You cut off the head of a King Taijitu, but now the second head's calling the shots. That's what Ironwood can't get through that thick, metal head of his.

Yang: You... know the General?

Qrow: Hey, I know everyone to some extent. Remember, you're talking to a member of the coolest team to ever graduate Beacon!

Qrow then pulled out a photo from his pocket to reveal his old team. I looked at the picture to recognize Summer, Tai, and Qrow, but I don't know who that woman with a red combat outfit. I then looked at Yang, with her eyes widened. I guess she probably knows her.

Qrow: *sigh* Team STRQ. That's when I met Ruby and Yang's parents. We were all known back in the day.

Ruby: Well know for a crummy fasion sense.

Qrow: Hey, we looked good! And I have a number of inappropriate stories that'll back that up. But, I'll save those when you're older

Ruby: Ew, gross!

Qrow then got up from where he was sitting.

Qrow: Anyway, I'm too old to be hanging out with a bunch of kids. You're gonna cramp my style.

Qrow was heading to the front door and stopped and turned to us.

Qrow: Look. Just remember that you still got a long way to go. And don't think for a second that graduating means you're done. Everyday out there is worth a week in this place. You three, you're gonna go far. But only if you keep learning. If you never stop moving forward.

Qrow then left the room.

You: "If you never stop moving forward".

Those were the same words that I repeat from him.

Location: Training Arena

I was fighting one of the training Grimms in the arena. I was facing three beowolves surrounding me in a circle, one of them charged at me, while I did an Overhead Slash to cut it in half. The other two charged at me, but I use the Force to use the Howling Push to push the both of them back and hit the wall from impact I did to them, they disappeared from the holographic mode. I deactivated my lightsaber and clipped it to my belt.

???: Looks like you got some fight in there kid.

I recognized that voice. I turned around to see Qrow coming from the door to the arena.

Qrow: You got some skills from taking those things out.

You: Thanks. I had a lot of training when I came here.

Qrow: I noticed the ability that you used, I'm guessing you don't have an Aura?

You: Sadly, no.

Qrow: Well, I can't blame you for that.

We stood silent for few minutes, then I decided to speak.

You: Those two girls, in that photo you showed us. The one in the white cloak, her name is Summer Rose, right?

Qrow looked at me knowing that I found out how I know her name.

Qrow: How did you know what her name is?

He walked up to me.

You: When Ruby and Yang brought me to their home, I found a picture frame in the house. That was the same woman that I saw in the photo.

Qrow: Yeah, she was the greatest leader in Beacon.

You: What about that other woman, I never saw her before. What's her name? It's okay if you don't want to tell me.

It took a few moments for Qrow to speak.

Qrow: Her name is Raven Branwen. My sister.

You: That was your sister?

Qrow: Yes. And that was also Yang's mother.

You: That was actually Yang's mother?

Qrow: Yes. Look, can you please just drop this, I'm not good at answering questions.

You: Right, sorry.

We then stood silent for a few seconds.

Qrow: Are you in love with my niece?

That came straight out of the blue.

You: Uhhh.

Qrow: Are you or not?

You: I... yes, I'm in love with Ruby. Please don't do anything to me!

Qrow: Relax kid. I just wanted to know. I'm glad that you're with her.

You: Thanks Qrow.

Qrow: Come with me Y/n. There's someone who wants to speak to you.

You: To me?

Qrow: Yes, with you. Now follow me.

Qrow then went ahead of me and I followed him.

You: *whispering* What do you think he's doing?

BD-1: Boop?

You: *whispering* I don't know either, let's just stay on our toes. Wait, do you have toes?

BD-1: Bee-beep.

You: Right.

Me and Qrow then kept on walking to the direction he's going. He then was leading me to the tower that Ozpin is in. We then went into the elevator and went to his office.

You: Professor Ozpin wants to see me?

Qrow: You're not the only one who's coming here.

You: If I'm not the only coming here, then who else is here?

The elevator doors then opened up to reveal Pyrrha siting in a chair facing Ozpin. He then noticed me and Qrow in the elevator.

Ozpin: Ah, Qrow and Y/n, glad you two made it.

You: Pyrrha?

Pyrrha: Y/n?
