Y/n POV

Location Beacon Academy Dorms

I can't believe that I saw Atlas soldiers pointed their weapons at Yang, she didn't do anything wrong. That guy Mercury, he deserved what he did back at the bookstore, he murmured Tukson in cold blood, he got what he deserved. I was standing outside the dorm room where Ironwood was talking to others inside, I didn't bother to listen to him talk, but good thing Qrow convinced him that Yang didn't hurt Mercury, that he attacked her after the match they had. Yang would never lie to us, if she saw something with her own eyes she saw it. But that doesn't matter now, I heard from Ironwood that she is disqualified from the match, I don't know who to trust anymore. I heard door open in front of me where the Atlas robots were standing, I saw Ironwood who closed the door behind him, I need to have a word with him.

You: So that's it? You literally just gonna say that she's disqualified?

Ironwood: I didn't have a choice. She hurt an innocent student from Mistral.

You: Oh is that right? Well let me tell you something "James" that Mercury guy, he killed someone a few months back.

Ironwood turned around to face me.

Ironwood: What did he do?

You: I saw him and his friend Emerald went inside the bookstore, and then after they had their talk with him, they killed Tukson, they killed him in cold blood.

Ironwood took a second to speak.

Ironwood: I don't believe you.

You: Are you kidding?! I was there! I was the one who saw the murder that they did!

Ironwood: That doesn't mean you get your personal vendetta on those students.

You: They're not students! I know they're not! They came here for a reason, their probably planning something new already, and you have to stop them!

Ironwood: THAT'S ENOUGH!

I went silent for a few seconds and realized what he is doing.

You: You know, you sound just like them.

Ironwood: What do you mean?

You: You sound just like the clone troopers back in my time. They used to take orders from us when we were at war with the enemy. But now, they don't take orders from us anymore. I finally get what they are, and they are pawns. And your just like them and your men, all of you are being pawns. I was just a child when that happened, and I survived...... Just get the hell out of my sight. I don't want to argue with you anymore. Just leave us alone.

I didn't bother to look at him. Ironwood left with his troops following him, while I heard the door open to reveal Ruby and the others.

Ruby: What was that about?

I looked at Ruby and the others.

You: I just told him that him and his men are pawns.

Weiss: Why would you say something like that? They're Atlas military.

You: You saw what they did to Yang, they pointed their weapons at her. Just like what the clones did to me when I was young.

Blake: Y/n, that was in the past.

You: It still haunts me from when I was young, Blake. They're probably planning something right now, the enemy is probably trying to sabotage the tournament, making the other people from different kingdoms hate us. I think Mercury was pretending to get hurt.

Ruby: But, we all saw that his leg being broken.

You: No, something is going on, and they're doing something to make our people turned on us and hate us. They're were framing Yang from breaking Mercury's leg.

Weiss: Y/n, what is wrong with you? You're acting the same way a few months back trying to find the enemy that's behind all of this.

You: Yeah I am, and I know that they're here, right under our noses. They've been playing with us, testing out our skills, how we fight, and know our personalities.

Blake: Y/n, I think you should just relax, this is just getting out of hand for you.

You: I know something is going to happen, I know it's coming, and I'll be ready to stop them.

I left them to go to the roof so I can be by myself.

Ruby: Y/n, wait!

I heard Ruby calling out to me, but I didn't bother to go back. I just need some time alone for now, to get my mind off of things. I went up to the roof and it feels quiet up here. I sat down on the ground with legs crossed and went into my meditation vision.

I went to my skill tree to learn a new skill. I unlocked two skills, this one is called" Dash Strike. I can dash forward and attack my target, and jump to flip over the target instead". The upgrade to this is, "Improved Dash. Increase the distance that I can travel when using Dash Strike". If my enemy is at a far distance, I can just dash to them and strike them quickly. I exited my meditation vision and got to reality. I was still on the roof admiring the view of Beacon tower from here. I then looked up in the sky to see the floating arena where the tournament is. Pyrrha said that she's going to the finals, I should go there and see her fight. I don't care if I can't be in the audience, I want to be there to watch the match in person. I got up and BD got on my back, we made our to one of the ships to take us to the arena.

I walked through the halls of the tournament, and I saw the massive open area, it's so huge. I saw and heard millions of people cheering and watching the arena. I saw no one on the arena yet. But then I saw Ruby going somewhere, where is she going?

You: You saw her right BD?

BD-1: Beep-boop.

You: Where's she going. We should follow her.

I decided to go follow Ruby. I saw her entered through a door that had a hammer and wrench on it. I went through the door and saw her walking through the halls.

You: Ruby? What are you doing here?

Ruby: I could ask you the same thing, but not right now. Emerald is here in the crowd, and she's doing something bad.

You: I told you this was going to happen you should've listen to me. I told you.

Ruby: I'm sorry, but we'll talk about that later. Right now, we need to stop Emerald.

We continued to down the hallway, but then we saw the faker himself, Mercury Black. How the heck did recovered that quick for what Yang did to him.

Ruby: Mercury?

We then heard Professor Port announcing the randoms that are going to fight each other. It was Penny Polendina.

Ruby: What are you doing?

I heard Port said that her opponent will be Pyrrha Nikos.

You: What the hell are you doing?!

Mercury: Oooh, polarity vs metal. That could be bad.

Ruby then reached for her weapon, but she left it at her weapons locker, good thing I had my lightsaber with me. Mercury then got into his fighting stance with a smirk on his face, I hate that smirk he has, it makes sick when he does that. I knew I couldn't trust him, he and his friend Emerald were responsible from this, to frame Yang from breaking his leg.

Ruby: Mercury... what are you doing? You were hurt! Why...?! Uh... What's going on?

You: Like he always does, trying to stall us from stoping this match. I knew you were on to something, you were no match for me when I got out of that alley way that day.

Mercury: Look who's talking, always being the hero you are huh?

You: That's my job, and I will stop you what ever it takes. So what the hell are you doing here anyway?

Mercury didn't answer my question. He was just standing with that look on his face.

Ruby: Fine. If you're not going to tell us...

Ruby was trying to get past him, but he was blocking her way from any direction she was going. I heard the match was about to begin, this is bad.

Mercury: Show time.

Mercury kept on blocking me and Ruby's path to get through. I saw what Ruby was about to do, she used her semblance to get around him fast, but he kicked her out of her semblance? How is that possible? She was too fast for someone to hit her like that. She was on the ground and I stood in front of him. Ruby was about to call her team, but Mercury shot her scroll out of her hand.

Mercury: Let's just keep this between us friends.

You: You're no friend in my book!

Me and Ruby dogged Mercury's attacks, I'll get my lightsaber out when it comes. I slowed Mercury down with my Force Slow for enough time for Ruby to get through.

You: Go! Now!

Ruby nodded her head at me and use her semblance to get some speed for her to get to the arena. My Force Slow wore off.

Mercury: Well, looks like it's just you and me.

You: You're a monster.

Mercury: Just doing what the boss told me.

You: I'll stop any of you from trying to destroy this school.

Mercury: Heh, good luck with that.

I got out my lightsaber from my belt and activate it and got into my fighting stance, Mercury did the same. We looked at each other six feet away from us. I smirked while Mercury was confused, I twirled my lightsaber and did my new skill Improved Dash at him, flipped over him and strike on his back. He groaned in pain from my strike. He then charged at me to kick me, but I used Force Push to push him away from me, but he recovered from the push and land on his feet skating on the ground, I saw sparks coming from his legs. He has robotic legs, I know what to do, I have to deplete his arua in order to cut them off, leaving him vulnerable so that he can rot here. Mercury charged at me almost about to kick me, but I threw my lightsaber at him to do more damage and I saw his silver arua depleted. I pulled my lightsaber back to me using the Force and caught it. He charged at me again to kick me, he swung his left leg to hit me, but I caught it with my left hand and cut off his left leg. He screamed in pain and fell to the ground, he was about to kick me with his other leg, but I quickly swung my lightsaber and cut off his right leg, he screamed again in pain for what I did to him. He stopped screaming and he had a fear look on his face looking at me. I walked up to him to say something.

You: This, is for Tukson. That was the man you killed in cold blood, and this is for Yang. But you're not worth my time, you can just rot here and suffer from the people you killed.

I deactivated my lightsaber and clipped it to my belt. I kicked Mercury to knock him out. I heard a the crowd muttering in shock and horror, what happened? I ran fast to the way that Ruby went and went through the door. I saw her on her knees to the ground and went to her.

You: Ruby, what happen? Are you okay?

Ruby didn't answer me, she had tears falling down from her eyes.

You: Ruby please, tell me what happened?

Ruby: Penny.

You: What?

I looked to see what she was talking about. I saw Penny on the ground torn from her limbs, she's an android?

You: No.... No.

I said while I had tears in my eyes. I saw Ruby sobbing in her tears and I sat down next her, hugging her, she hid her face on my chest and kept on crying and sobbing.

You: Ruby, I'm so sorry.

I said between my tears as well. I couldn't save Penny in time, none of us did.

I saw the screens turned into a chess piece of a pawn. I heard the voice of that same woman who attacked me on the roof. I didn't bother to listen to her. I just kept on focusing on Ruby who's still crying on my chest while I still hugged her. I just sat there with her with tears still in my eyes. My poor girl, she didn't get the chance to hangout with Penny more, but now she's gone, she's been torn apart by Pyrrha, but she didn't do this, they did, the monsters that caused everyone to fear them, framing us. The picture of the pawn went off from the screen. I heard a horrifying warning siren blares, and the emergency announcer.

Emergency Announcer: Alert. Incoming Grimm attack. Threat level: Nine. Please seek shelter in a calm and orderly manner.

The civilians didn't comply with the announcer, they just ran straight to the exits screaming and pancaking. I heard General Ironwood's voice on the speaker.

Ironwood: Ladies and gentleman please! There is no need for panic.

After he said that, I looked at the sky where there was a Nevermore trying to break the shield from the arena. This is bad, really bad.

You: Ruby, come on get up!

Ruby didn't respond to me, she still had her head on my chest.

You: Ruby, come on! You have to get up! Please!

I begged her to get up, but she didn't do what I said, she still sat there.

You: Please *sob* get up.

I said through my sobbing, I don't know what else to do now, this is like the Jedi Purge all over again. I have to do something and I won't stop until I find who ever did this, I will take them down, for good.
