A/n: In this chapter Jaune is not being bullied by Cardin or fighting him, you are being bullied. But in the Forever Fall Forest Cardin still gets Jaune to help him with the jars. That's all I need to say, let the chapter begin.

Y/n POV

I was still sleeping from today, I was sleeping peacefully, but then I started to have a dream, this is different from my other ones.

(In Dream)

I opened my eyes to see that I was on the ground. I got up to see where I am, where am I. I looked around to see everything is different, I'm in a different place, this place was covered in Darkness.

I looked at my surroundings to see what I can do. There's darkness everywhere in this place, there's so much in this place some people can come here. Why am I here?

???: I've been expecting you child.

My heart started beating fast in fear. That voice came from behind me, I turned around to see a woman with very pale skin, red veins all over her, and her eyes red as blood. Is this the same woman I saw in my vision?

No. It can't be.

You: Who are you, where am I?

???: You are in my land of darkness. I control this land, and I created the creatures of Grimm.

So she created them? Why?

???: I have lived here for a long time now, and now, here you are, in my world, where it is chaos.

You: I don't know who you are? But you can't stop me from doing what's right. I won't let anyone get hurt.

The woman summoned a sword from her hand.

???: Then let me see what you are capable of fighting me. I wanna see how you fight.

I got out my lightsaber and activated it getting into my fighting stance.

(This music played while you were fighting her.)

I was holding my Lightsaber with both of my hands in my fighting stance. To get ready to fight her.

She was standing in front of me, looking at me with an evil look on her face. I was shaking a little bit, but I can't get that to me I need fight it, I can't get fear in my system I need focus. I started to charge at her and I swung my lightsaber with my Overhead Slash move to strike her, but then she blocked it with one hand I stagger for a little bit, I lost my balance for a little bit, but I got back into defense position. It was her turn to strike me. I blocked her attack with my Lightsaber, but her strike was too strong I got stagger again it made me dropped my Lightsaber to the ground, she stabbed me deep in my stomach, I coughed out blood from my mouth she was looking at me dead in my eyes.

???: You will never be able to save them, when you are dead.

She got her sword out of my stomach, I fell to my knees and fell flat on the dark ground. I was dying, bleeding out, I wasn't strong enough to defeat her, I died on the ground, my life was leaving from my body.

(End of dream)

I quietly gasped for air, I started to feel nauseous, I was about to throw up. I quickly got out of bed and rushed to the bathroom opened the door, turned on the lights, opened the toilet seat all the way open, and then I started to vomit. I was vomitng a lot, the stuff left my mouth, I was on my knees to only let it out in the toilet. I kept on vomitng all minute long. After that, started to stop. I flushed the toilet and closed it, I was sitting on the floor with my back against the wall, I was sweating, and breathing heavily. I had the worst nightmare ever.

???: Y/n? Are you okay?

I know that voice. I turned to see Ruby in her pj's standing at the door I left open, she probably heard me that I got out of bed. And went into the bathroom.

Ruby: Were you vomitng?

You: Yeah.

Ruby: What happened, are you getting sick?

You: I was just nauseous for a minute. I'll be okay.

Ruby: Y/n. Tell me what happened, did you have another nightmare?

I took a moment to answer her.

You: Yes I did.

Ruby: What was it about?

You: I rather not talk about it.

Ruby: Y/n, please tell me so I can help you.

I don't want to hurt her again like last time back at the house. I rather tell her now, just to get it out of my system.

You: I had a nightmare about... when I woke up, I was somewhere else. I was in a different place, it was full of darkness. And then this... woman showed up, she was all pale and had red veins all over her, and had eyes like blood. She was fighting me, she was too strong.

Ruby: What happened next?

I took a moment to answer her again.

You: She.... she killed me.

Ruby eyes widened in sadness, she sat down next to me.

You: It's like I actually felt death itself. I wasn't strong enough to defeat her, I'm nothing but a waste of energy.

I said when I started crying. Ruby hugged me knowing that she can help me get better.

Ruby: Don't worry Y/n, you're not a waste of energy. You are you. And you can't stop fighting to live. You gotta keep on fighting. You can't give up, I'm here if you need me okay?

I hugged Ruby back, it feels good to be hugged by her it helps me calm down.

You: Thank you Ruby, I wouldn't be the same without you.

Ruby: I know, like I said I'm here if you need me okay?

You: Okay.

Timeskip: Location Goodwitch's class

I was fighting this student named Cardin Winchester. He's using a mace as his weapon, while I still have my Lightsaber with me. Cardin swung his mace at me while I was blocking, the hit made me lose my defense and he hit me with his mace, I yelled in pain as went into the air and went back down dropping my Lightsaber. I was breathing heavily out of breath, until Cardin spoke.

Cardin: This is the part where you lose.

You: Over my dead body.

Cardin was about to finish me off, until Glynda disrupted his attack.

Glynda: Cardin, that's enough.

Cardin then left the fighting arena, and I was still on the ground exhausted. My face then showed up on the screen.

Glynda: Students, as you can see, Mr. L/n does not have an arua, in a tournament style duel, this would indicate that Y/n is no longer fit for battle and the official may call the match. I'm afraid that he will not participate in the Vytal Tournament.

I was on the ground looking down, knowing that I don't have that type of thing. I guess I am useless after all.

Glynda: Remember everyone! The Vytal Festival is only a few months away it won't be long before students from the other kingdoms start arriving in Vale, so keep practicing! Those who choose to compete in the combat tournament will be representing all of Vale.

After that announcement Glynda gave us the bell rang. Making the whole class dismissed. I was still on the ground looking down in a disappointed face.

Timeskip

Cafeteria

I wouldn't bother to listen to this girl name Nora telling a story how she killed a few Ursai while that guy next to her name Ren was correcting everyone from Nora's story. I just sat there poking my food, i didn't deserve this, I have no arua to block my injuries, this stinks, maybe i shouldn't have come here in the first place, I'm useless. Ruby noticed me and spoke to me.

Ruby: Y/n, are you okay?

I didn't respond, I just ignored her for a second. I didn't feel like talking to anyone right now. Then Jaune spoke to me.

Jaune: Hey buddy, are you alright?

You: Does it look like I'm alright? No.

Jaune: Whoa, calm down. Why are you all of a sudden getting mad.

You: Did you not hear what Glynda said? I don't have an Aura, I don't have that kind of ability to stop me from getting hurt.

Ruby: But, you still did good in that fight with Cardin.

You: It doesn't matter, I'm a useless waste of space.

I said while putting down my fork. I put my head down resting on my arms for a minute. Until I heard a girl being bullied.

???: Ooww, that hurts! Please stop.

Cardin: I told you it was real.

Russel: What a freak!

I had enough of this, I need to teach that guy a lesson.

You: Come on BD.

BD-1: Beep-boop!

BD got on my back, I was about to get up until I felt something on my wrist. I looked to see it was Ruby, begging me to stay.

Ruby: Y/n, don't. It's not worth it.

You: Then maybe I should do my job as Hunstman and save that girl.

I yanked my hand away from Ruby so I can teach Cardin a lesson, I approached him.

You: Hey! Cardin!

He noticed me that I was calling out to him, he looked at me.

You: Yeah, I'm talking to you. Remember me from that match we did earlier?

Cardin: Yeah, you're that kid who doesn't have an Aura, right?

You: Yeah, that's me.

Cardin: Get lost kid, before you make me fight you again.

I stood my ground.

You: I'm not going anywhere.

Cardin heard me say that to him.

Cardin: What did you say?

You: I said, I'm. Not. Going. Anywhere.

Cardin then let go of the girl's rabbit ears, and stand up to face me, he also brought his team along too. It's four against one.

Cardin: You brought this on yourself kid.

He then punched me so hard in the stomach that I coughed out the air in my lungs. I fell to the ground on my back, BD then went back to my team so he doesn't get hurt too. I was on the cafeteria floor holding my stomach coughing and trying to get air back.

Cardin: What a weak kid.

His team started laughing at me knowing that I am weak. I touched the floor with my hand, and then it started to glow blue, I had another flashback, but this time is different.

(Flashback)

I was knocked down to the floor and I groaned in pain.

Jaro Tapal: Get up, try again.

Young You: Is this the right way for the Jedi Master? Fighting in hand to hand combat?

Jaro Tapal: Yes, some Jedi used their bear hands to fight their enimies unarmed. I know you can too Y/n. You will master this ability to take down any enemy. When you are down, get back up and face your enemy, don't give up. Now, try punching the clone trooper again and focus.

Young You: Yes Master.

I got up again and I got into a fist fight position.

Clone Trooper: Try to keep up kid.

He then try to hit me, but i blocked his attack with my fist and counter punch him.

Jaro Tapal: Good padawan, again.

The clone trooper then try to hit me again, but then I sidestep to my left kicked him in the stomach and did a roundhouse spin kick on him to finish him off.

(End of Flashback)

I was still in the ground while being laughed at Cardin and his team.

You: "When you are down, get back up and face your enemy, don't give up".

I got back up from the floor and face Cardin.

You: I'm not giving up that easy.

Cardin: Oh you are so going down kid.

He went to punch me again, but then I side stepped to my left, kicked him the stomach, and then roundhouse spin kicked to finish him off, just like in my flashback. I roundhouse kicked him in the face, then he fell on the ground hard. The people in the cafeteria saw what I did.

Russel: Come on, lets get Cardin out of here before he hurts us too.

His team then helped Cardin.

I then got to Russel's face he was scared.

You: If I ever see you guys bully this girl right here again? Don't expect me to go easy on you're leader again, and stay away from my friends. Understand?

He then nodded in a scared way.

You: Good. Now, get out off my site.

They carried Cardin on their shoulders and left the cafeteria. While they left, the crowd in the cafeteria cheered for me, they all didn't like Cardin as well. I went to the girl with the rabbit ears to make sure she's okay.

You: Hey, are you okay?

???: Yes, I'm okay. Thank you for helping me. You got some moves for what you did to Cardin back there.

You: It was nothing. I hope he didn't pull your ear that hard.

???: Oh, he did, but I'm okay.

You: You don't mind if massage one of them? Just this once.

???: Sure go ahead, but be gentle though, It still hurts from where Cardin pull them.

You: Ok, I'll be careful.

I began to gently massage one of her ears, I massaged her left ear carefully without hurting her. She seems to like that, she smiled a little bit and a little blush appeared on her face, she really likes it when I massage them. After that I started to stop massaging her ears.

???: Thanks, that felt nice, you are good at massaging them.

You: Thanks. Oh I didn't get your name yet I'm Y/n L/n by the way.

???: I'm Velvet Scarlatina, nice to meet you Y/n.

You: Thanks Velvet, well I should get back to my team. Are you sure you don't want to join us?

Velvet: Thanks for that, but my team is waiting for me. Thank you for that.

You: You're welcome. I'll see you around Velvet.

Velvet: See you around Y/n.

After we said our goodbyes, I went to my team, I sat down in my seat where I was. My team and friends were starting at me with a shocked faces except for Nora, she had a smile on her face and she gave me a thumbs up. I started to speak to them.

You: What? He got what he deserved, I got pay back for what he did to me during the spar, and I saved that girl Velvet.

Jaune: We know, but what you did to him, that was kinda awesome.

Yang: Looks like I'm not the only one who does hand to hand.

Ruby: You did a number on him, but next time, don't get into trouble, okay?

You: Okay, I promise.

Ruby smiled at me, knowing she understands.

Timeskip: Doctor Oobleck's class.

I realized that Jaune wasn't here, he had to be in a different class, I was paying so much attention that I know what the answer is, I really needed to get my mind off of things, like the nightmare I had last night, it still gets to me, but I gotta focus on class right now. I raised my hand to let Doctor Oobleck know that I know the answer, but Weiss raised her hand first.

Oobleck: Yes?

Weiss: The battle at Fort Castle!

Oobleck: Precisely! And, who can tell me the advantage the Faunus had over General Lagune's forces?

I raised my hand, then Oobleck noticed me.

Oobleck: Mr. L/n, what is the answer?

You: The advantage of the Faunus that damaged General Lagune's stuff for their advantage, is night vision. Some Faunus compared on going in dark.

Blake: General Lagune was inexperienced and made the mistake of to ambush the Faunus in their sleep. His massive army was outmatched, and the General was captured. Perhaps if he'd paid attention in class, he wouldn't have been remembered as such a failure.

You: Thanks for the heads up Blake.

She nodded at me.

Then Cardin started to get mad at Blake, he got out of his seat.

Oobleck: Mr. Winchester! Please take your seat.

Cardin then sat down back in his seat.

Oobleck: You can see me after class for additional readings. Now! Moving on!

Timeskip

After class, me and BD decided to go for a walk around the school grounds, BD saw something in a nearby engineering class.

You: Hey BD, where are you going?

He went inside the classroom, he saw a workbench in there, it's a repair kit for his scomp link.

You: Scomp link?... Yeah you're right, I bet I can replace yours with this. Let's get you fixed up.

I got out my blow torch to finally repair BD-1's scomp link, and I finished repairing it.

You: How's that?

BD then looked at his right leg to see that his scomp link is fixed he jumped into the air and spin around on the bench in happiness.

BD-1: Bwoop-beep!

You: Haha. I'm glad that you're fixed up.

We then looked at locked door. I looked back at BD.

You: Wanna try it out?

BD nods in agreement. I smiled at him knowing he can slice anything now.

You: Lock door meet BD-1.

BD then slice the door back online and then opened it, the door is a storage room, I guess whoever was trying to open this, he or she can thank us later.

You: Alright, we should head back to the others.

BD then hopped back on to my back and head back to team RWBY. What a coincidence, they were walking outside too. I went go talk to them.

You: Hey, girls!

They saw me coming to them.

Ruby: Hey Y/n, how are you?

You: I'm feeling a lot better now.

Ruby: That's good to hear.

You: Oh, while you girls were out, I managed to fix BD-1's scomp link.

Blake: Scomp link?

You: It's a tool for him to slice any door open. Which means he can unlock any locked doors, so I fixed it.

Weiss: Wow, I'm impressed of you're engineering.

You: I used be a scraper.

Yang: You were a scraper?

You: Yeah. Before i came to Vale, I used to scrap ships in the lower continent.

Yang: Wow, I didn't know you were that good at fixing things.

You: You kidding? I love fixing things.

Ruby: Can't argue with that.

You: Anyway, what are doing tomorrow?

Ruby: We're going on a field trip to the forest of Forever Fall.

You: Forever Fall?

Ruby: I'll explain it to you when we get there.

You: Okay, I can't wait to go.

Blake: We should head back, it's getting dark.

Weiss: I agree with you.

You: Then let's get back to the dorms.

RWBY: Right.

We all went back to the dorms. I can't wait to go to this forest tommorow I could imagine the nature there. I hope I can get a goodnight sleep this time. I guess everything is going to plan.
