A/n: Today's my birthday! Today is September 27th my birthday. So I am creating a special chapter in this to celebrate my birthday. I'm in my 20's right now in real life, so I'm making my character look 18 in this. I hope you guys wish me happy birthday, and I hope you guys enjoy this chapter.

Y/n POV

When we came back from the place I went to before, we went back to Atlas just to take a day off from an intense few days I have had. I really needed this time to relax. I was my teammates dorm just relaxing and just laying on one of the bunk beds and just let time go by.

A few minutes have passed and I'm still relaxing on the bunk bed I just like this time to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Ruby: Hey, Y/n.

I then heard Ruby's voice inside the dorm room. I looked to my right and see that Ruby just got in the dorm, she was looking at me with a smile on her face. I returned the smile to Ruby and spoke to her.

You: Hey, Ruby.

Ruby: What are you doing?

Ruby said while she sat on the bed with me while I sat up from the spot where I lay down.

You: Eh. I'm just relaxing, had a tough two days worth of, seeing my young self, and facing a vision of my Master, same old, same old.

Ruby: Yeah, those were tough days.

You: Yeah.

We both went quiet for a few seconds then one of us started to speak.

Ruby &You: So, I was thinking. No, you go first. No, you.

Me and Ruby laughed at each other for saying the same thing at the same time.

You: You go first.

Ruby: Okay. I just wanted to ask, when were you born?

You: To be honest... I never heard that from anyone before. I guess I was born on September 27th?

Ruby: Wait, let me check my scroll.

Ruby got out her scroll from her pocket to check to see what month and date is. Ruby looked and she was surprised to see that it was September 27th.

Ruby: Today is September 27th.

Ruby looked at me for a second and she spoke.

Ruby: Oh my gosh, today's your birthday!

Ruby then gave me a hug and I hugged her back. I didn't know today was my birthday.

Ruby let go of me and gave me a smile on her face.

Ruby: I'm so happy for you. How old are you now?

You: I guess I'm 18 now.

Ruby: Oh my gosh, I'm so proud of you!

You: Thanks, Ruby.

Ruby: Oh! I hope we can do something fun together! We can throw you a party, or maybe we can-

You: Ruby, it's okay. I'm okay. I just... never really got the time since I was a kid.

Ruby: Don't worry Y/n, you'll have a good time, it's your special day today.

You: Thanks, Ruby, but I don't really have the time now. I'll just... do a mission in the meantime.

I then got up and get BD-1 with me and went out to go do a mission for the day.

(Timeskip)

I was assigned to do mission to go clear out a landing zone fill with Grimm to bring in supplies for the Amity Tower. I was about to go on board of a ship to head out, but then I heard a voice behind me.

Qrow: Hey, Y/n, wait up!

I turned around to see Qrow coming to me, is he coming with me?

You: Oh. I wasn't expecting you to come here, Qrow.

Qrow: You're going to take out a bunch of Grimm that are at a landing zone all by yourself?

You: Yeah.

Qrow: Well, I'm not going to that happen. I'm going with you.

You: Okay then, let's go.

Me and Qrow went on board the ship to head to our destination, and took off.

Location: Landing Platform

We saw a few Grimm at the landing platform. We got out our weapons and got ready to fight these things at the platform. Qrow went go take care of the Grimm on his side, and I went to go take some on my side. One of them were about to hit me, but I parried it's attack and sliced him in half and it faded away into a black mist. I saw more of them, I activated a second green blade and detached my hilts to make them into a Split Saber. I swung both of my sabers at the first one, then at the last one. I attached my hilts back, deactivated my lightsaber and clipped it to my belt. I then saw Qrow finished the rest of the Grimm on his side. We then saw Atlas ships coming to land, knowing that the landing platform is secured.

Qrow: Come on, we got more stuff to do for the day.

You: Following you.

(Timeskip)

After a long of completing missions, we head back to Atlas Academy for to call it a day. Me and Qrow were walking down the hallway of the Academy, but something seems off.

You: What's going on here? Where is everybody?

Qrow: I don't know.

You: Are we being breached?

Qrow: Let's go find out, come on.

I then followed Qrow down the hallway to the cafeteria. It was dark in there, something's not right here.

You: What do you think?

I looked at Qrow for him to give me a plan.

Qrow: You go in first, I'll follow you.

You: Okay.

I went into the dark cafeteria where the lights are off. I put my right hand on my lightsaber hilt to get ready for an attack. After a few seconds, the lights turned on blinding me a little bit while I cover my eyes with my left hand in front of my face.

Everyone: Surprise!

I put my hand down and saw that everyone was here. Team RWBY, JNR, Oscar and Merrin.

You: What's going on here?

Nora: Don't be silly, Y/n. It's your birthday!

You: Wait. How did you guys know?

Jaune: Isn't it obvious? Ruby was the one who told us!

I looked at Ruby who was standing in front of me with a smile on her face.

You: You told them?

Ruby: Of course I did.

Qrow: She told me too.

I turned around to face Qrow with a smile on his face.

You: So you had me out all day so they can prepare all this for me?

Qrow: I wanted to be a surprise for you, and here it is.

I turned back to my team and friends that had smiles on their faces. I didn't know that they prepare this stuff for me. This brought a smile on my face as well. I went up to them and spoke to all of them.

You: Thank you for doing this for me. I wasn't expecting this at all.

Ruby: You're welcome Y/n. And we got a cake for you and all of us to enjoy.

I then looked at the cake that was on the table. It has white and blue frosting on it that says, "Happy Birthday to Y/n" with candles already lit up on it. Team RWBY, JNR and Oscar all gathered around me and started to sing happy birthday to me.

Everyone: 🎶 Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Y/n! Happy birthday to you!🎶

This brought a really happy smile on my face and I looked at my teammates and friends. I inhale and blew out the candles that were on the cake and everyone around me cheered for me, even BD-1 cheered for me as well.

Nora: So, what did you wish for?

I looked at my teammates and friends to tell them what I wished for.

You: To be honest.... I wished to have a good time in my life. And be with my family, and my soon to be wife. Thank you all for doing this for me, I really appreciate it.

Ruby came to me with a big hug and everyone cheered for me again. We all then started to have a good time, even for me since today's my birthday. I'm really glad to have this moment in my life, I hope I don't have to see it fall apart.

(Timeskip)

After I had a good time celebrating my birthday, I returned to the dorm room with Ruby with me. BD-1 then got off my back and went in to the desktop to get some sleep.

Ruby: So, did you had a good time?

You: Definitely. I definitely did had a good time.

Ruby: That's great. I'm really glad that you did.

You: Thanks, Ruby.

There was a moment of silence for a seconds until I broke the silence.

You: Hey, Ruby?

Ruby: Yeah, what is it, Y/n?

You: There's... something I want to show you.

Ruby: What is it that you wanna show me?

You: Sit down on the floor with me.

Me and Ruby sat down on the floor with our legs crossed and we hold our hands together.

You: Close your eyes, and focus on your mind, you'll see what I mean.

Ruby: Okay.

Ruby closed her eyes and I did the same thing too. Me and Ruby focused on our minds and we went into my meditation vision.

(Meditation Vision)

Me and Ruby opened our eyes and we stood up from the ground where we were sitting. Ruby looked around and saw that we are in my meditation vision in the same area.

Ruby: We're back here, why?

You: There's someone here that who will love to see you.

Ruby: Who?

I then saw Summer appearing behind Ruby and I had a smile on my face.

You: You might wanna turn around.

Ruby did what I said and turned around. She was confused at first, but then she gasped in a surprise way and see that she sees Summer Rose, Ruby's mother. I know that she was starting to cry to see that her mother is right there in front of her. Ruby then ran up to Summer and gave her the biggest hug that she never had in her life. I noticed that Summer had tears of happiness in her eyes, knowing that she's so happy to see her daughter again.

Summer: My sweet little girl. It is so good to see you again.

Ruby was still hugging Summer, knowing that she was happy to see her again. Ruby then let go of the hug and wiped her tears out of her eyes and so does Summer. I walked up to them to see how their doing.

You: It's finally to see you two are together again after so long.

Ruby: How did you know that she was here with you?

You: It just happened back at Beacon when I was meditating.

Ruby: I didn't know that.

Summer: It's good to see that you two are getting married.

Ruby: Wait. Mom, how did Y/n gave the necklace and the ring to me?

Summer: Honestly, Ruby... I gave them to him.

I saw Ruby's eyes widened and looked at me, she didn't know that Summer gave me those items to her.

Summer: I gave them to him because I knew that you will find someone who is caring, and who can protect you. I was hoping that one day, you will be with someone you love. And that person, is Y/n.

You: Summer's the reason why I kept on going and fighting. She helped me out when ever I was very depressed about my past. But then, she helped me keep on going. To keep fighting and to keep moving forward.

Summer: He is so glad to have you Ruby, and I'm glad that you two are getting married soon. I hope it goes well.

Ruby looked at me and Summer with a sad smile her face. She went to go hug Summer again, and I went go join in the hug as well.

Ruby: Thank you both for this.

Summer: You're welcome, Ruby. I believe in you both for your great time in your lives. And I hope you two will be together forever.

You: We will, Summer.

Ruby: Thank you, mom, for everything.

Summer: You're welcome, Ruby. If you ever want to talk to me, I'll always be here when ever Y/n meditates.

Ruby: Okay.

You: Thank you for everything, Summer.

Summer: It was a pleasure meeting you Y/n. I will see you two another time.

You: We'll be waiting.

We were all still in a group hug then me and Ruby started to head back to reality.

(Back in Reality)

Me and Ruby opened our eyes to see that we are back in reality in our dorm rooms. Ruby had tears of happiness in her eyes. She then gave me a hug while we were still on the floor.

Ruby: Thank you for letting me be with my mother again.

You: And thank you for planning this special day for me.

We let go of the hug and we got up from the floor. Ruby then went up to the door to lock it, what is she doing? Ruby then turned around to take off her cloak that she had on her, walked up to me and put her arms around my neck and I put my arms around her waist.

You: I'm guessing this is my birthday present?

Ruby: It sure is.

Ruby said in a flirtatious way. Me and Ruby went on the top bunk bed and she was on top of me. We then started to kiss each other to have a really good make out session to have a good time tonight.

And there you have it guys. I wanted to create this to celebrate my birthday. I hope you guys enjoyed this, and I hope you wish me happy birthday as well. I can't believe that I'm in my 20's now. I came this far in my life to just think about what is going to feel like being 20 years old. And now here I am, a boy who was a teenager and now he is an adult. I know it's like midnight already by the time I publish this, but still I hope you guys wish me happy birthday. I also wanted to tell you guys that it has been fun being in this adventure. I can't believe I made it to being 20 years old. As time goes on for me and for all of us, I think it's best to just live our lives and continue to move forward. If you guys are struggling within your lives, don't be afraid to struggle with this. If you are sad, or depressed, please don't be. We are all here to help each other fight through this feeling that we all have in our lives, and we will continue to do so. I know you guys are trying your best to go through with this. We all know that God will save us from this struggle that we all have. He will save us, and he will guide us to him one day in heaven. I hope you guys understand what I'm saying, and I hope you guys keep on praying for the best for you and for all of us. I hope you guys understand that. Thank you so much for supporting me in this long road ahead of me and for us. We all have to fight through this struggle, and we will continue to fight.
