I'll just cut to the chase right now set back relax and enjoy this next part.

Y/n POV

I was still running ahead of Ruby and Yang, we were still having a race to see who gets to the house first. I was fast enough to make it there first, I was still running non stop to find the house, I was on a clear grass road and I see something in the distance where I'm still running, I see a big logging house from where I'm running to, it's pretty big, almost a size like mansion or something, but it's still home for Ruby and Yang.

I got to the house first putting my hand up on one of the logs that were on the house. I was breathing heavily in and out, I was out of breath how fast I ran but that was really good exercise for me. I haven't run like that in a long time, but it's good to be running again at least. I see Ruby and Yang catching up to me, seeing me that i made it here first, they caught up to me breathing heavily in and out of breath, they took a moment to catch their breath, I did the same thing to. We took a moment to catch our breath, and after that Ruby started talking to me.

Ruby: No fair, you cheated.

Y/n: How did I cheat? I wasn't cheating I was just fast enough to get here first.

Yang: I guess your right, you were just fast enough to get here first so I don't blame you.

Y/n: Ok ok, you two probably would have won. (Whispering) Probably.

Ruby: What was that?

Y/n: Nothing.

Ruby: Good.

After the talk we had, Yang knocked on the front door to let her dad know that were out here. Yang called out to him to let him know that were waiting to go in.

Yang: Dad, were back!

???: I'll be there in a second!

We waited for a moment for their father get to the front door. I see the man had blonde hair just like Yang, but he's different he had short blonde hair, cargo shorts, brown boots, a tattoo on his right arm, and some facial hair on his chin. He revealed himself as he opened the door to see his daughters.

???: Ruby, Yang, good to see the both of you back here in one piece.

The girls hugged their father so he hugged them back with open arms.

Ruby: Thanks dad.

Ruby said in a kind voice. The two sisters let go of their father from their embrace, he then noticed me standing there watching them how good people they are.

???: Girls? Who's your new friend here?

They looked at me seeing that I was standing there, then I came back to senses and looked down at the ground in a shy moment.

Yang: Dad this our friend, Y/n L/n. He saved me and Ruby from that grimm while we were sparring, he did an awesome attack on that grimm.

Ruby: Yeah! You should've seen how he was, he had this glowing blue sword with him he ducked under the Grimm's arm, swung his sword upwards to cut it's arm off, and last he did was he stab that Grimm in the stomach killing it instantly. IT WAS AWESOME!

Ruby was exited that she told her father after what I did to that grimm back there when they were in danger. If it weren't for me, they would die if i haven't been there, but I was there, it's my job as a Jedi to do what ever it takes to save them.

???: So, you were the guy with the glowing blue sword that saved my daughters lives is that correct?

He asked me, I was still looking down hiding my face.

Y/n: Yes sir, I did.

???: Well, thank you for saving them. Your a hero for them for a guy with a glowing blue sword you have, it must've take a lot of training for you to use that thing.

He said to me, I looked back up looking at him as I spoke to him.

Y/n: Thank you sir, it's my pleasure to save your daughters from that grimm I faught.

???: Oh, where are my manners, my name is Taiyang Xiao Long, Ruby and Yang's father, but you can call me Tai
for short.

Y/n: Thanks Tai, it's a pleasure to meet you.

Tai offered me a hand shake, and I accepted the handshake, what a friendly guy Ruby and Yang have.

I see the sun was setting in the distance, it's about to get dark soon.

Y/n: Pardon me Tai, do you mind if I stay here for a while, I've been traveling around this place for a while now.

Tai: Of course, you can stay here as long as you want, you've must been tired for traveling across remnant for a while so what's my house it's your house.

Tai said with a kind smile, he is so friendly to me, it's nice to have a friendly person for a long time.

Y/n: Thank you so much Tai, I appreciate it.

Tai: No problem Y/n, come on in be our guest make yourself at home.

I entered the house, and it was beautiful, the structure in this house was breathtaking, it has a couch in the living room, a kitchen to the side, and a device that is some sort of television in front of the couch. This place is amazing, I walked to the couch admiring it. I sit on the couch feeling the warm cushions on the couch, it felt really good, for once I was finally sitting down and relaxing and enjoying this feeling for a long time.

I said something while I was on the couch.

Y/n: I could stay here forever.

The three family members were laughing at me for being silly. Tai, Ruby, and Yang went inside the house last, and Tai closed the front door to lock it. Ruby and Yang went upstairs to hang for a few moments, while Tai said something to me.

Tai: Just relax and rest for while you deserve it, I'll be in the kitchen making us some tea, I'll be right back.

Tai said before leaving me on the couch. I decided to take off my poncho and leave it at the spare chair that was next to the couch. When I put my poncho on the chair, something caught my eye. I see a acoustic guitar leaning against the chair. I put my hand on the handle of the guitar so that I can test it out, but something glowed on it. I heard the sound of my force echo kicked in. I picked up the guitar and went back to the couch. I began strumming some of the strings of the guitar, the sound of the strings releasing a peaceful sound coming out of it, it was beautiful. I closed my eyes and continue to play the guitar, the music in my head remembering the owner that use to play this instrument. I know this song now. It's called, " Red Like Roses". I kept on going with the rhythm of the beautiful song coming from the guitar, but then I heard footsteps. I opened my eyes to looked at Tai holding two cups of tea in his hands. He was amazed of how I know how to play the guitar and the song I played.

Tai: That song, i wrote it when I was a teenager, it's the most beautiful song that I played. How did you know how to play it?

I was scared to tell the truth to Tai, I have to keep it a secret for now.

Y/n: I started to play this and then, next thing you know I just went with the rhythm and played the song.

Tai put the two tea cups down on the coffee table and sat down next to me.

Tai: Come on there's no way someone can just grab a musical instrument and play the song that they remember from the owner.

Tai started to act suspicious about me, I can't tell him now, he would freak out what I am, I can't let him know.

Tai: So tell me, how did you know that song I used to play.

I stayed quiet for about a minute or two. I can't tell Tai who or what I am. I don't want to tell him, I can't let him know who I am.

Tai: Y/n, please tell me.

My heart started to beat, I was scared that he will find out.

Tai: Y/n, tell me wha-

Y/n: Can we please change the subject!

I raised my voice a little cutting him off, surprising Tai how I just yelled at him for what I did.

Tai: Woah, Y/n calm down, there's no reason to raise your voice like that.

I looked at him with sad look. I felt bad that I raised my voice at him I didn't mean to.

Y/n: I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that I just...... I need to be alone for now.

I said standing up, placing the guitar back leaning on the chair, I went upstairs to see if Ruby and Yang were there. Ruby was in Yang's room hanging out with her, I can tell that their good sisters. I'm happy for them. I started to look around in the hall to one of the rooms. I saw a door open on my left, seeing that it is Ruby's room. It's a pretty good room for a girl who likes the color red, I explored her room for a moment, she has a desk, a gaming console, and a laptop. She likes these kind of technology, but at the moment I saw a picture frame. A picture of Ruby and Yang when they were little kids, Tai, and a women that had a white cloak on her, she also had black hair with red tips on the side and a combat suit that was black and white. She almost looks identical to Ruby, I walked to the picture frame and picked it up to look at it close. They look so happy together as a family they really are, this put a smile on my face to show how wonderful the people are. But then the sound of my force echo happened again. I saw and heard voices from the past.

(Force Echo)

Young Ruby: Mommy why are you leaving?

Woman in white cloak: I'm sorry Ruby i can't tell you. But don't worry I'll be back home soon ok?

Young Ruby: You Promise that you will come home?

Woman in white cloak: I promise my little girl, that i will return home soon.

Young Ruby: Ok mommy, I'll be waiting for you.

Woman in white cloak: There's my little girl.

They hugged each other for the last before she left, Ruby waved good bye to the woman in the white cloak, she waved back at Ruby before leaving. And she was gone.

(End of Force Echo)

I got back to reality, I still hold the picture frame of the family. This brought a tear to drop from my eye, it was so sad that this woman had to leave, but she never came back, she didn't get the chance to see Tai and her daughters all grown up. What happened to her did she die? No. She can't be dead, she's still out there somewhere. Maybe someday I might go find her and bring her back to her family, she has to be still alive.

Ruby: I see you found the picture frame of my family.

I was surprised of the voice of Ruby behind me. I turned around to see her having a sad smile on her face.

I put down the picture frame where it was, I turned around to see Ruby.

Y/n: Sorry I didn't mean to enter your room without asking.

Ruby: It's ok, you were looking around the house so it's fine.

I sat down on one of the beds in her room, I didn't want to tell her about that woman in the picture, I think it's Ruby's Mother, cause i heard her saying Mommy in my Echo. There was a moment of silence for a second. Ruby decided to break the silence.

Ruby: So, what happened downstairs when you were talking to my dad.

Not this again, I don't want to talk about that again. This brought my heart to beat again because I was scared to tell them what I am. I don't feel like talking right now.

Ruby: Y/n? Your not gonna tell me?

Y/n: Ruby. I don't want to talk about it.

Ruby: I just want to know why you were-

Y/n: I SAID I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT OK!?

Oh my goodness. What am I doing? Why am I shouting at Ruby like this. Ruby stepped back a little bit when I looked at her with anger on my face.

Ruby was on the verge of tears after what I did to her. I then realized what I have done. I had anger, hatred, leading me to the Dark Side. I got up and almost ran out of the room, before I left I said something to Ruby

Y/n: I'm-i'm sorry.

I had tears in my eyes than ran out of the room. I heard Ruby calling out my name.

Ruby: Y/n! Wait come back!

I didn't listen her, then Yang came out of her room who got in front of me to stop me from going down the stairs.

Yang: Y/n? What happened I heard you shouting in Ruby's room. Are you ok?

I didn't respond to her while I still had tears in my eyes. Yang noticed.

Yang; Y/n, are you crying? What happened, please tell me.

I didn't want to talk to her. Infact I didn't want to talk to anyone in this house anymore. I ran past Yang to get away from her, she saw me running down the stairs.

Yang: Y/n! Wait where are you going!?

I didn't respond, I didn't even listen to her. I grabbed my poncho, quickly put it on, ran to the door to unlock it, I opened it and I ran out of the house. I didn't want this, I didn't want any of this.

I kept on running deep into the forest not looking back. I kept on running and tears starting to fall from my face as I kept on running.

After a few more minutes later I saw a good for view of the sunset, I stopped by a near by cliff viewing the beautiful sunset. I started to walk now. But then I saw what it appears to be a.... Gravestone? I never saw a gravestone almost at the edge of a cliff. I went to the gravestone to get a good look who it was. Then I finally saw who's grave is this. I read the engraving parts on the gravestone it reads, " Summer Rose / Thus Kindly I Scattered.

I gasped with my hand covering my mouth as I remember that woman in the white cloak, this is her. The woman that left and never came back home. I dropped to the ground with both my knees and crying and sobbing. I kept on crying and sobbing on the ground.

Y/n: No.

I said through my sobbing. I was wrong when I thought she was alive, she's dead. This woman Summer Rose, she never got the chance to see her husband, and see her two daughters all grown up.

This feeling I'm having right now is exactly how I lost my master.

He died, saving my life, sacrificing his life to save mine. But that was in the past, I have to move on, but I can't.

Why did Summer die? Why did she leave? Why did she never came back?

I kept crying and sobbing at the ground, I can't believe that Summer Rose died, but how?

I have to find out how she died. So I put my hand on the gravestone, and it starts to glow blue, meaning my Force Echo was kicking in so I closed my eyes.

(Force Echo)

Inside the Echo I see that the sky is dark and cloudy. Summer standing a few feet away of the cliff seeing the view. But then a women in pale skin with red veins all over her she's wearing black dress, she was looking at Summer, Summer noticed the woman, she looked at her with a sad look preparing for what's coming. The women summoned a sword from her hand and charged at Summer killing her.

(End of Force Echo)

Y/n: NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I shouted in sadness I opened my eyes, tears still falling from my eyes. My voice echoed through the cliff side and the forest behind me. Now I know what happened to her, that woman killed her, killing a defenseless woman. I can't believe it, she died right here, that woman showed no mercy. Summer was begging for that woman to spare her life, but she didn't. She killed her without saying a word.

I still sat on the ground looking at Summer's grave, she was a wonderful woman, a good mother, and a good wife for Tai.

Y/n: You may not know me, but I saw what happened to you. You were killed by this woman who didn't show mercy to you. It would have been an honor for us to meet in person,but you could've been there for your husband and daughters, you were a great mother, and great a wife. I promise you that I will protect your daughters and your husband for any evil is to come, and I will fight away that evil what ever it takes. My name is Y/n L/n by the way, and... I'm a Jedi, I know you haven't hear that word before, but here I am. A Jedi on a different planet, and saving the world from the darkness. I swear to you I will protect anyone for you, and I will protect your family, and I'll do whatever it takes to save this world. Thank you and may you rest in peace.

After I said my speech, I got up from the ground and began to walk away.

But something happened the wind was picking up, I see white rose petals from the wind going around me and past me to the grave stone. I turned around to see the white rose petals circling around the gravestone, what appeared to be a ghost with a white cloak.

It's Summer Rose. My eyes widened as I saw her ghost figure looking at me with a caring smile. I had tears in my eyes again just by looking at her. She's beautiful.

Summer: Thank you Y/n, I know you will do great things in the future. Take care of my family and take care of yourself. I know you can do this, I know you can save this world from what evil what's to come in your way. I believe in you Y/n, thank you for your speech you gave me, I have faith in you Y/n. Now go take care of my family their counting on you, and I'm counting on you. Thank you, and good bye.

With those final words, she begins to fade away into white rose petals.

Y/n: No wait!

I ran to her with my arm reaching out for her, but it was too late, she faded away. I fell to the ground again on my knees, crying again.

Summer: I know you can do this, I believe in you Y/n.

Summer said with her final words.

Y/n: Thank you.

I said through my tears. I was calming down relaxing. Until I heard shouting from behind me.

Ruby: Y/n! Where are you!?

Yang: Y/n! Come back, were worried about you!

I didn't bother to look behind me. I just sat there with tears falling down from my eyes.

Ruby:Y/n!?

Yang: Y/n! There you are.

Ruby and Yang found me siting on the ground.

Ruby: Y/n we were so worried about you please come back with us.

Yang: Please Y/n, Ruby told me what happened. It wasn't your fault you yelled her, I know you didn't mean it. So please come back home with us, please.

I didn't respond or turn around, I stayed silent for the whole time.

Ruby: Y/n, please say something.

I still didn't answer back.

Yang: Y/n what's wrong, why are you-

She got cut off when she saw what I was looking at, Summer's grave.

Ruby: Y/n? Are you ok?

They heard me crying and sobbing. They came up to me putting one of their hands on both of my shoulders.

I looked at them still tears in my eyes.

Yang: We know what happened to our mom. And Ruby does to. I know you-

Y/n: I know what happened to, I get it now.

I cut her off to let her know I that I know what happened to Summer.

Y/n: She was a good mother, and a good wife for Tai. I made a promise to her. That i will protect you, and anyone else in remnant. I will do whatever it takes to protect you girls, and protect everyone else. I promise her that.

Ruby and Yang looked at me with tears of happiness in their eyes.

I walked up to them and gave them both a hug, they were surprised at first.

Y/n:, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to run away. I didn't mean to hurt both of you.

I said between my sobbing. They hugged me back with open arms. Calming me down, knowing that they forgive me for what I have done.

Ruby: It's ok, we forgive you.

Yang: We know you didn't mean it, you were just scared we know. We promise we will take care of you ok?

Yang said to me. Knowing that I'm not alone, Yang and Ruby are like a family to me and I will make it worth my while. I promise you Summer I will protect your daughters as long as I live.

Y/n: Thank you, both of you.

We let go of each other from our embrace.

Yang: Come on, let's go home.

Ruby: It's were you belong now Y/n.

I smile with tears of happiness.

Y/n: Yeah, let's go home.

Me, Yang, and Ruby began to walk back to the house were I belong now. This is where I'm going to be now, a new life, a new home, and new friends to look out for me. As long as I can look out for them they will look out for me two. I can't wait for something else to come in the future, I hope I'm ready for it, and I will be prepared for it when it comes. Me, Ruby, and Yang, will be prepared for what's coming, as long as we stick together, everything will be alright.
