Our story takes place 5 years after the Battle of Endor and the death of Emperor Palpatine.

A New Galactic Republic has been formed after the fall of the Imperial Empire, with different systems rebuilding from the long war.

Many legends were made from the Galactic Civil War, while old heroes from the Clone Wars came in to assist the young rebellion.

As a side effect, criminal empires like the Hutt clans have fallen, now having only small guilds that offer bounties to skilled people.

But the Empire isn't entirely gone either, some of the Imperial fleet and armed forces having to lay low and stay at planets outside of the Republic's reach.

While Darth Vader and Darth Sideous have perished, small wisps of the dark side remain silent in different places throughout the galaxy, all in wait that the light side will be overthrown one day.

Thankfully, there is still hope for light, even if the future is as blurred as it ever will be.

Luke Skywalker, son of the Chosen One Anakin Skywalker and twin to Leia Organa, is one of the many light side force users left and has been given a colossal task: Build a brand new order of force users to protect galaxy!

But him teaching alone and with no students at all will get him nowhere if he can't find some of those scattered everywhere to come, which doesn't bode well with the Sith and the Empire still out there.

For now, Luke can only reach out in the Force and pray someone reaches back to him return.

Heroes Who've Survived

(This is just in case you guys want to play as these characters in the roleplay.)

Luke Skywalker: He's one of the heroes of the war and is currently building a new order after the war.

According to rumors, he may have found some important areas and may be married.

Leia Organa/Solo: She's still involved in the formation of the New Republic, but she's also married Han and has a son with him named Ben Solo.

Han Solo: The New Republic decided to hire him to do the risky cargo deliveries and sometimes smuggle stuff past random Imperial territories.

On the side, he's married Leia and has a son named Ben that he is with when he's off work.

Chewbacca: He still goes on missions, though it's usually Leia giving them since he trusts her and Han.

Ben Solo sometimes calls him "Uncle Chewie" whenever the Wookie gets to meet with the boy.

R2-D2 & C-3PO: The two droids still serve the Skywalkers to this day, with R2 traveling with Luke and 3PO helping Leia at home or at her job.

Wedge Antilles: He still lived to through all of the battles of the civil war and continues to go on missions against the Empire.

Captain Rex: The former clone captain of the 501st hasn't been heard much after his role in the Battle of Endor, supposedly retiring from active duty to enjoy the rest of his days in peace. Though he could still have enough fight on him to go for a few more battles.

Hera Syndulla: The pilot of the Ghost remains part of the Republic's operations, all while raising her son Jacen Syndulla.

Sabine Wren: The Mandalorian girl from the Ghost team still lives to this day and is also on the lookout for Ezra, believing he may be alive and still out there.

Zeb & Kallus: After the war, Zeb showed Kallus that the Lasat were still alive and invited the rebel ally to stay with his people.

Bo-Katan Kryze: Probably one of the only survivors from Death Watch after the Clone Wars, as well as one of those who could technically rule Mandalore, Bo-Katan still leads fellow Mandalorians soldiers in efforts to recover their home world after the destruction from many wars.

Din Djarin/Mando: He's been through a lot ever since he destroyed the bounty hunter guild, took down so many Imperials and even took down the current user of the Dark Saber, all just to get a force sensitive child to a Jedi.

Grogu/The Child: Probably one of the last of his species, Grogu is force sensitive and was capable of many feats despite not being able to speak.

He was last seen being taken in by Luke to be protected and maybe even trained.

Mara Jade: The Emperor's former right hand, she's kind of been ally of the Republic after Luke and the others helped her get free from her connection to Palpatine.

It's been rumored that she's been married to Luke as of late.

Kyle Katarn: He's recently returned to help Luke after he slayed Desann in retaliation for the actions he caused.

(Let's just pretend that the events in the Jedi Knight games happened a little sooner than expected.)

Ahsoka Tano: Her still alive means that she is currently the last of the old Jedi Order, and the last person to remember what the Jedi and Anakin Skywalker was like.

Whereabouts of her location are unknown.

Ezra Bridger: He was assumed dead after the battle for Lothal, though Sabine has been looking for him after her missions with the Rebels and for Mandalore were over.

Ben Solo: At this point, he's a young toddler that Leia and Han have been raising after their marriage.

Leia has considered having her son be trained by Luke to control his Force sensitivity.

(Yeah. In this AU, we have the choice if he stays on the light side instead of becoming a Sith through a stupid dream.)

Possible Sith and Empire Alive

(You guys decide which you're going up against in the rp.)

Grand Admiral Thrawn: Apparently it's implied he may have survived hyperspace after the Lothal battle.

With how organized and well planned the Imperials are as of late, there's a possibility it's his doing after managing to reunite with the last of the Empire.

Desann: Katarn may have fought him to the death, but there is the possibility someone could have had someone heal him after the Jedi left.

Though it would be a surprise if he did come back despite all of the wounds inflicted.

Tavion: She was last seen spared by Katarn before leaving for location unknown, but that doesn't mean she couldn't lead the Imperial forces herself and start a Sith Cult

Snoke: Whoever this guy is, intelligence spies uncovered suggest he may be the new leader calling the shots over the remains of the Empire, probably even turning it into a First Order.

Just as a side note, I might even in let the you guys include the following in this AU.

1) Rey can exist as a Sith option if you guys think the others won't work.

2) Earth and the Solar System can be part of this AU.

I already did most of the pages of my "Earth in Star Wars" book, so you can look at that if you want knowledge.

3) Any Fandom can have it's own planet in this AU, just ask me if it can logically fit in.

Even if it's RWBY, MLP, Sonic and other universes with world's not called Earth, I can work with you if you want a Star Wars version of your OC in.
