Imagine; you life on the island together with Luke, you're his student. And when he doesn't want to teach Rey, you think about teaching her, initiating a fight between you and Luke.

'The girl...the force is strong with her...I haven't felt anything like that since...'

'Yes I know, that is exactly why I won't teach her... no more Jedi's, it's too dangerous...' Luke replies as you're both watching Rey train with her weapon.

'You know she's not going to turn out like Ben...and besides, I am a Jedi...'

'You're an exception...but it ends with you, that's why you're staying here on this island...'

'She could help the rebellion win the war, she needs guidance and she's asking you for it...you're not even going to consider giving it to her are you?' You cross your arms.

'No, I'm not going to make the same mistake, all the Jedi ever did was bring chaos, not peace like they were meant to..' Luke gets up and walks away leaving you to watch Rey.

He may not be willing to train the girl, but you are, and it's sure going to be one hell of a fight when he finds out.

You stand up and walk the complete opposite way than Luke, you walk straight to Rey.

'I'll teach you....' you blurt out and she stops practising and turns around.

'You will?' She asks in disbelief.

'Yes, I know the force as well as Skywalker does, come with me and we will take a walk first...'

She nods and you turn with her to start walking down the small path going over the island.

'Why doesn't he want to teach me?' Rey asks.

'He doesn't like to talk about it much, his nephew, Ben Solo, once was a student of his together with me, he had this...raw power...just like you have, I felt it, so did Luke, one night, Luke had a vision about him, I don't know much about that either. It just, it scared him. Luke went to Ben and before I knew it the whole temple was destroyed. I ended up under the rubble...' you go on as you lift your sleeve, showing the ugly scars that remained from that night.

'So you know Kylo Ren?' She asks and you chuckle.

'No, I only know Ben Solo... there's a difference...Rey, I know you can bring him back, that's why I want you to learn...'

'So when do we start?'

'Y/n!, I told you not to!' Luke barges in on you and you turn around.

'Do you always barge in on people or is that new?' You ask as you put away your stuff.

'You're teaching her...'

'Of course I am...you won't...' you brush past him as you walk outside.

'Do you have any idea how dangerous that is?!'

'Do you know how dangerous it is to not teach her?!, she's up against Ben. BEN!, the strongest Jedi yet, I'm sorry but did you not think about how this could be the only chance we have at beating them?, I'm done explaining to you..'

'Well I'm not done talking to you...I know you loved him and I know how badly you want to get him back but this isn't how...'

'This is exactly how and you know it!' You snap at him. 'I know you're scared, I'm just as scared as you are, but I feel her energy, it's pure light, and yes it's the same as Ben used to have but, if we ignore this, then she's will turn...'

'You have no idea who she is, what her family name is..'

'Does it matter?, your father was Darth Vader, it didn't matter to Master Yoda when he trained you... why should the fact that she's Palpatines granddaughter matter?'

'He was the emperor!'

'And she's a scared girl!, just like I used to be....you helped me..now let me help the girl...'

'You sound much like your grandfather...'

You roll your eyes as you cross your arms, a small smirk on display when you see his smile peeping through.

'I am known to be quite convincing...but I'm nowhere near the capabilities of my grandfather Master Luke...'

'That is true...but you've convinced me so far, maybe we should help her..'

'That we do...' you smile.

'And I think once her training is done, you should go with her to help her... I've kept you on this island long enough now...'

'Finally I get to leave my lonely tower and explore the galaxy!' You joke.

'Sarcasm still runs in the family too...'

'Always has Master Luke...now lets teach this girl some serious asskicking...'

Just then Rey actually cuts off a large chunk of the stone standing on the cliff of the island. It falls down and destroys some of the locals things.

'The locals are not going to like her..'

'Well then you have one thing in common...' Luke brushes past you and you roll your eyes again.

'And no eyerollig at me...'

'How does he do that?, every damn time!'
