Imagine; you are Ben's sister, and you try to get Ben back.

It's a busy day in Maz's bar, which isn't particularly unusual it's just, there's this tension in the air, something just waiting to happen. Good or bad.

Sure, more first order ships have been coming in and going just as fast, every time you hid away and luckily they never found you, let's just say since your brother joined the first order and become the apprentice of Snoke, things haven't been going smooth between you and the first order.

It actually hasn't been going well ever since that one night Ben left the island, when he almost killed Luke, when he destroyed the temple and slaughtered the other Jedi's in training. 

Thinking back makes you sad, you and your brother have always been two hands on one belly, always together, in the good times and the bad, but not anymore, you wish you could save him, to again become this unbreakable bond.

'What is wrong dear?' Maz sits next to you and you just shake your head.

'It's been exactly 10 years since I last saw him...since I got this...' you motion to the left side of your face.

'Did you have a bad dream again?' She asks and you nod.

'I just...I want to let go, of everything...but I can't...Maz I can't let go off the past..'

'My dear...what happened that night is not something you'll easily move on from I'm afraid, not when you have a reminder...'

The scars Ben gave you that night, that's what she's referring to, he threw you against one of the many rocks of the island, it could've been harmless but he chose a rock with sharp edges, it cut open your face on the left side, the heat of the fire made them worse, Like tried to heal them but couldn't.

Maz lays her hand on top of yours and squeezes. 'They will pass...eventually they will...'

You smile at her when she won't let go just yet, she just holds on a little longer and it almost feels like the hand of your mother, or that of your father, whom you haven't seen in years. 

'I don't know what I would do without you Maz...' you softly say and she nods.

'You would be dead...' she grins and you chuckle.

Then the door opens and you look up, the smile that was plastered on your face falters and it makes Maz frown as she turns towards the door.

'HAN SOLO!' She yells and the whole place goes silent when she does so. She rarely yells, only at the people she's really angry with or at stormtroopers destroying the place.

'Hello Maz, it's so nice to see you again..' Han, your father replies.

You stand from your stool and you walk to Maz and the group of people standing behind Han, a woman and a man, and surprisingly, a droid you've never seen before.

'What are you all staring at?' You ask the other people in the bar, who immediately go back to their own private conversations.

'Y/n-' Han starts but you shake your head as you wrap your arms around him.

'Dad...' you burry your face in his neck and his arms tighten their already iron grip on you.

'I've missed you kiddo...'

'Where have you been all this time?' You ask leaning back.

He sighs and lets go off you. You can see the sadness in his eyes. You can see he's not doing okay.

'Who did this to you...' he reaches up to your face and gently runs his thumb over the scars. He cups your cheek and you close your eyes.

'It's was Ben...wasn't it?' He whispers and you nod while a single tear slips down your face.

He again wraps his arms around you but you push him off, you can feel him, he's getting closer to you, like he's on the planet.

'He's here...dad...he's here...you should hide...together with the two people you brought here...'

'I've done enough hiding...' Han says.

At that moment an explosion hits the building and it shakes, people start running including you and the girl named Rey and the boy named Finn.

'Y/n!' Maz yells and you turn around. 'You'll need this!' She throws the lightsaber which belonged to your uncle and you use your force to catch it.

'Thanks!' You yell back and she gives you a nod before running off herself.

You see an aircraft landing on the open field next to the large lake. You stop dead in your tracks when you see Ben walking out with that ridiculous mask on.

'Ben...' you try to get through to him, but he blocks you off, just like he did that night.

He still had his head turned to you, it's like he's looking right at you without the mask, you know it's just a prop to hide his face from you, to hide the pain and the sadness from everyone.

Rey and Finn run into the woods to seek shelter, which makes both you and Ben look at them before looking back at each other.

'Oh I don't think so...'  you mutter as you go after them.

You rush through the woods trying to keep up with them, averting everything that gets in their way.

'You!' Ben yells as he suddenly slams you into the ground making Finn and Rey turn around with a gasp.

He wants to put his lightsaber right through you put you stop him with Luke's.

'Where did you get that?!'

'Like I'd tell you...' you kick a leg from under him and he looses his balance, giving you a window to crawl up and step away from him.

'Go!' You yell to Finn and Rey.

'You've become better...'

'Ben stop...we both know this isn't really you...it's your fear speaking, your anger...take off that bloody mask and look me in the eyes and tell me this is who you really are...'

'I would...but I'm not here for you...I'm here for the scavenger...'

'You won't get her...'

'We'll see about that...' he responds.

He was right, he fought you off and he easily took Rey. he left as quick as he got here, you had to watch him leave again, it stays the hardest thing you ever had to do.

You want him back so badly, you miss everything about him, but the thing that hurts the most is that you feel like you betrayed him.

'How are you doing?' Han asks leaning next to you against the wall of the Falcon.

'I'm going to get him back...' you speak up without even looking at him.

'Not this again...'

'What again dad?' You ask sternly.

'You need to consider the possibility that he can't be saved y/n...'

'I need to try, he's still in there dad...I know he is...when we get her back we have to try and convince him to come with us..'

'That's going to get you killed...'

'Well I'm sorry for saying this, but that's better than living with the thought of him becoming a monster...' you push yourself away from the wall and walk to the other side of the ship with your dad hot on your heels.

'Your mom wouldn't approve...'

'She's not here..and neither of you can make this decision for me...I'm going to try no matter what...'

'You look like yourself but I'm hearing your mother, it's unbelievable...'

'When we get out, you and Finn go for Rey, I will go for Ben...'

'I can't loose both of my children...y/n I won't...'

'I'm going to be right here, with Ben...'

This is the moment, you can save Ben, you can make him turn good again, turn himself again. You only have to convince him a little more and he will walk out of this enormous ship.

'Ben...'

'Did I Do That?' He asks full of disgust.

'Doesn't matter Ben...please just come with me...I can help you...' you walk further up the bridge.

'I...I don't know what to do...'

'Y/n!' Your dad calls you out and you turn around.

'I need to keep my promise!, you go ahead!' You yell back before turning to Ben again.

'What promise?'

'I promised dad that I would bring you back to the Falcon, that I will help you...I believe in you...'

'You're lying!' He steps back but you take a step forward.

'I'm not!, I never stopped believing in you Ben!, I'm not scared of you either because I know this isn't what you mean to do!, I know this isn't you!'

'Nobody else does!, they all think I'm a monster!'

'Then prove them wrong Ben!, take my hand!, I will help you!, I can't let you walk away again!, I know you're hurt...but whatever they promise you here, they will never give it to you!, they lure you in and then they use you...' you step forward again and this time you're so close. You can almost grab his hand.

Han watches you and for a split second he feels like this will work, that this will bring back both of his children.

'I'm being torn apart...I know what I have to do but I don't know if I have the strength to do it...'

'You do...I know you do Ben...' you take one more step and you grab his hand.

'See?, Nothing-' you get interrupted by a sharp pain in your chest.

You gasp out as you hear the lightsaber go through your chest. Your eyes go wide as you look him into the eye.

'NO!' Han, Finn and Rey yell out as they watch your body drop once Kylo Ren pulls out the lightsaber.

Leia stumbles back, even though she's miles away she can feel you, she can feel your force slowly fading away.

'Leia...' Poe rushes to her aid and helps her sit in a chair.

'No..' she breathes as she stares straight in front of her.

'What's going on?' Poe asks worried.

'My daughter....she's...she's dying...'

You're still gasping for air, you're still reaching out to Ben.

'I...still...believe...in you...' you choke, it may not seem to do anything to Kylo but it makes Ben come out a little more, even if Kylo doesn't feel it, Ben is trying to break out.

Killing his own sister, his partner in crime, is the last thing he ever wanted to do, even as Kylo Ren.

'Ben...' Rey breathes with a smile spreading across her face she reaches up to touch his face before planting her lips on his.

He smiles for a moment, but then it fades, Ben knows his time is over, by saving Rey he gave his life for hers.

So he falls back. Looking up to the sky one last time before closing his eyes and leaving Rey behind.

He expects nothing, he had heard of the force connecting the dead. He heard about a spirit world of some kind after a Jedi dies.

He never expected to go there in the first place. But when he opens his eyes again, he sees some blue figures walking around him, he sees his parents and his uncle.

'Hey there stranger...' he hears behind him and he turns around.

'Y/n...' he breathes, almost glad to see her, but then he remembers that he is the reason she's here with him.

'You couldn't go through with it could you...' you smile up at him.

'No...' he simply answers, not sure how to react.

'Well aren't you going to give your sister a hug?' You chuckle as you step forward with your arms open.

'But..but...' he stutters.

'But what?, did you really think I would be angry at you?, think of you as a monster?, Ben...forgiveness is key...'

'I'm so sorry...'

'Oh please stop it...' you scold and he chuckles.

'I knew they would've killed you...you wouldn't have saved the universe together with Rey...and besides, I don't hold grudges for very long..'

'I missed you...'

'Right back at you..'
