Ben sighed and slumped back in his chair, rubbing his eyes. It had taken a few hours, but his new article, 10 Secrets About Sand Darth Vader Doesn't Want You To Know, was finished.

Throwing a glance over his shoulder, he found light coming from within the spare bedroom. Ben pursed his lips.

It had been a while and the twins hadn't eaten anything, in fact, he wasn't even sure if they'd eaten before coming.

"Luke, Leia?" he called, knocking softly on their door.

"Yes, Mister Ben?" Luke replied.

He opened the door and peered inside. The two were sitting on the bed, looking over a book they must've brought with them.

"Are you two hungry?"

Leia nodded her head, her pigtails bouncing.

"Let's get you something to eat then."

The twins cheered and hopped to their feet, racing after him.

"Stay close to me and don't wander off." he instructed as they left the apartment.

Unfortunately, Ben noted, neither of them seemed to be paying attention. The twins were too busy gawking at every person and building they passed.

For once, they weren't asking dozens of questions, which Ben honestly wasn't sure was better or worse.

Now there was too much silence, and that silence allowed his mind to wander to thoughts of another young boy from Tatooine leaving his home for the first time.

"Ooh!" Luke exclaimed, interrupting his thoughts. "What's that?"

"Mmm, not sure." Ben replied, leading them past the shop. He would take them up a few levels to get food, the lower levels weren't very hospitable to children--or in general.

Ben stopped at the docking bay and made his way to a terminal, Leia following closely behind.

"Can I help?" she asked, watching him take out his ID.

Ben blinked. "Uh, sure."

As she was showing the droid his identification, she suddenly stopped. At that same moment Ben felt something--an absence.

"Luke?" they called in unison, glancing around the bay.

"Wonderful." he sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I can't believe he ditched me." Leia huffed, placing her hands on her hips.

"Come on," he grabbed her hand. "Let's go find your brother."
