The Princess will pay for what she's done
"Hello?" I feel someone shake me, my was rocking back and forth, "hello!?"
"Uh?" I grunt, still my eyes not being able to open.
"I'm sorry," says the soft voice, "but this is kinda private property so you can't take a nap here."
I open my eyes and squint against the bright rays of the sun that I wasn't entirely used to. I turn my head to see a building. I must be in an ally or something. I look back to the sun.
"Hello?" The person blocks the sun from my view so it almost looks like an eclipse.
"Hi?" I respond. Suddenly, I scream as pain from my arm takes over my mind.
"Shhhh!" She hushes. Her eyes glance from mine to my arm. She sits back and I turn my head. The girl was my age, maybe even a little older. She had blond hair in ponytails, bright blue eyes, had pink hearts on her cheeks and she wore a pink dress and black sweater with black boots.
"What happened to your arm?" She asks. My head spins and my stomach clenches as I look at the pool of blood under it and the bone sticking through the skin.
"I-I-" I begin to cry and the pain makes my head hurt.
"Calm down!" She smiles. "I'll bring you to a doctor!"
"Than-" i stop myself a images of everyone attacking me when they found out I was witch. My arm begins to a scream in pain as I try to sit up. The bone is sill sticking out. Pain makes my head hurt.
I turn to the girl.
"No really I'm fine." I manage to smile through my clench teeth.
"Don't worry, Mewni had really nice doctors. You'll be fine."
"No I really can't go. I just need to go home."
"Ok. Where is home?"
"It's really far away. But I'm sure if I start walking now I'll get there before dark."
"No. You stay here. I'll go get your family."
"No. Really. I'm fine." I smile again. "I'll make it."
"Please stay." The girl eyes look sad.
"Are you ok?" I ask.
"Mmhmm. I just... Don want you to get hurt."
"No really I'm fine!" I assure her.
"Please stay. At least for a little bit. Until the pain dies down."
"It's a freaking broken arm! Pain doesn't die down for stuff like this!" I wanted to scream at her.
"Please?" She begs.
"Sure!" I say and reposition myself so I'm leaning against a wall. "So how did I get here?"
"I don't know." The girl shrugs. "Oh hey I have an idea!"
"What?" I ask a she takers off her black Jacket and tosses it to me.
"Uh..."
"Put it on your arm. At least that'll help stop the blood."
"Ok." I shrug and put it on. It hurts the bone as soon as it touch it an I place it off to the side. This girl doesn't pay much attention and sits across from me.
"So," she smiles as me. "What's your name?"
"Red." I say plainly.
"Cool." She smiles. "That's a great name! My favorite color's pink and white an red make pink so... I really like your name."
"Thanks!" I smile.
"Are those bat wings!?" She crawls towards me and stairs at them.
"Yeah." I shrug.
"They are so cool! And you get to fly everywhere instead of walking! That must be awesome."
"Actually they don't work yet. For me they are basically a tripping hazard."
"Really?" The girl picks one up. "But they are so cool!"
"Thanks." I look at my arm and my stomach clenches and my arm feels as if it was about to explode. "You would really like the Shadow Planet then. Almost everyone has a pair. Either bat wings or black bird wings. I once saw someone from another clan that had big wings. They were so funny!"
"Your from the Shadow Planet?"
"Yeah."
"Woah what's it like?"
"Dark."
"Wow." The girl leans bak against the wall, that's only a yard or two away.
"Yeah. Nothing special."
"Your from a completely different dimension! Isn't that fun?"
I shrug.
"Why'd ya move to Mewni?"
I bite my lip. I didn't know if I could trust this girl and tell her I'm a witch.
"Well," I come up with a believable story on my head. "My older brother, Enderman... (Had to use fake names of course) is an elite fighter so we moved to Mewni so he could become a better fighter. You're school are top in the multiverse I hear."
"Yeah..." She sighs.
"What?" I ask.
"Well, you see I can't go to these schools, but I want to become a fighter!"
"Really?"
"Yeah. I wanna best up monsters! Now they always seem to go rampaging through the lower ring."
"Really?" I think what I it ran right into my house!? Who was this girl and what was she thinking!
"Yeah. But my stupid parent won't let me train."
"Oh, that must be hard."
"They want me to be a lady. All prissy and dressy. But that's not me! I wanna destroy things!"
"Tell then that."
"Iv tried. They just don't listen."
"Sorry. Wish there was something I could do." The pain in my arm explodes but I do the best to hide it.
"Yeah well," She stands up. "I still practice in a yard. We have all these plants that I practice attacking and vines I make bows out if and a small platform I practice my balance on."
"So you teach yourself?"
"Yup!" She smiles and I struggle to get up.
"Cool! Maybe when my arm is fixed I'll teach you-"
"STOP RIGHT THERE WITCH!" Someone bellows. Fear spreads through my face.
"Witch?" The girl turns to me. "Your a witch."
"Well you see I-"
"I SAID STOP!" The man screams.
"But I'm not moving?" I shrug.
"You're supposed to be in the mines looking for water."
"What?" I ask.
"You heard me!" He grabs the collar of my shirt and drags me behind him, his foot kicking my in the head every time he lifts it.
"And Princess Star Butterfly," he says calmly. I look up at the blond girl who's face is drained of all it's color and the hearts that were on her cheeks had turned to skulls.
"Yeah?" She says nervously.
"Her majesty wants you in the castle at all times. You know that!"
"Right!" She looks at he then looks back to the guard. "Sorry Patrick."
"Go," Star walks away and feel my arm spring with pain and I hiss and cry.
"Princess?" I say through gritted teeth to myself. "She could have saved me and she just left."
Star butterfly, you will pay.
For what you did.
For what you've done.
For what you will do.
