POV STAR
"Star?" A girl asks. She had blue hair and wore black clothes.
"Oh HEYYY!" I smile back, remembering that I was sorta-kinda here before.
"What are you doing here?"
"Just looking around."
"I thought you went to class?"
"Yeah but I forgot my backpack,"
"Really! I could have sworn to had it..."
"Hey I forgot... Where did they brig Marco?"
"Uh... I think home? Either Earth or Mewni. I don't remember."
"Why would it be Mewni?"
The girl shrugs.
"Ok well by friend!" I wave and leave.
"Oh hey Star?" The girl calls.
"Yeah?" I ask.
"I'm glad we are friends."
I smile awkwardly, "me too!"
"Well, cya!" She waves and leaves.
"She believes me?" I cut a portal to Marco's bedroom. "Nailed it. Maybe I'm just as good of a liar as Marco."

POV MARCO
"Yo kid!" A man yells at me. "You can't sleep here again."
"Fine." I get up and stretch. "Thanks for letting me stay one night."
"No problem." He laughs. I leave and walk into the bright lights of Mewni. It was the afternoon, what was he talking about spending the night again? I walk down the busy streets and buy a weird fruit from a market. I sit on the side and sharpen my bow so the top edges or like swords**. Who thought sending me a bow was bad idea I don't have any aim!
That too me an hour ad when I stand up, my dimensional scissors fell out of my pocket. I really should go home, my parents as Star must be worried sick. I cut a portal into Star's room.
"Star?" I ask. Her room looks untouched, like she hadn't been here in 6 months. But that can't be right. I walk into the hallway and into the living room. Everything looks completely different, new furniture, new walls, new rugs. Everything was new because of that stupid fire Civ and Red started.
"Mom?" I call, quietly. "Dad?" I walk around the house, then I leave and walk outside. The summer sun beats down hard on me. I take of my sweatshirt and tie it around my waist. I leave against a tree for shade, my hand hitting a paper. I look up, and cry.
"No..." I mumble, looking at the paper. It is a flyer that says "Missing," with a picture of me and guilt rolls over me.
I sigh and cross my lawn and slice open a portal.
"Marco?" A girl asks.
"Oh," I close the portal. "Hey Jackie."
"Were have you been?" She exclaims. She jumps off her skateboard and tackles me with a hug.
"I've just had some business to deal with."
"I bet! Man everyone had been worried sick about where you and Star have been."
"Mmhmm." Wait.... Star? Where's Star!?
"Oh Marco is don't know what to do with out you," she says. I looks up and she blushes. "You guys. You and Star, I mean."
"Well," I pull out from under her and stand up.
"Well what?"
"I'll be off." I shift my bow and quiver in my back and rip open another portal.
"What? You just got back."
"Yeah don't worry. I just have to kill someone and then I'll be back for good."
"What?"
"Cya later Jackie!" I smile with a nod and leave.
She stands there as I closed the portal, dumbfounded.

POV STAR
I sit on Marco's untouched bed. I close my eyes and sigh. I can almost here Marco calling for his parents. I lie back down on his bed. How stupid was I; there was no reason Marco would ever come back here. He wanted to kill Red, he was never stay here. I go over to the window and see Jackie lying on the yard. Must have fallen off her skateboard. I eye my dresses and decide to slip one on. It has a multicolored striped top and a teal skirt. I slip on my familiar pink boots and brush my hair neatly like it always did. I adjust my devil horns and smile at myself in the mirror.
It was like nothing had changed.
Except EVERYTHING had changed.
I turn around and walk down into the living room.
"Mr. and Mrs. Diaz? Hello? Where are you?" I call. Silently, I go to the door and open it. Jackie is gone and I find shade under a tree. It sure is hot in Echo Creek in the summer.
"Star?" I here someone ask. I turn to see a car.
"Oscar?" I get us quickly and I feel my back scratch against the tree.
"Sup?" He nods, his keyboard strapped around his neck. He steps out of his car. He looks different, but not a lot. His hair was shorter but still covered his face and he developed muscles.
Huh...
"Nothing much. What are you doing here?"
"Just riding. Looking for inspiration for a new song."
"Cool!" I smile. I blush a little but I don't know why.
"You look pretty."
"Thanks?" I smile.
"Yeah. But you look prettier in pictures?"
"Whhhaaaattt?" I was confused.
"Here." He hands me a piece of paper with the words MISSING across the top. "The Diaz' put those out after you an Marco left for a week. It's a nice picture of you."
"Ok?" This was getting weirder and weirder. Oscar has never talked to me. Also why was he carrying around a missing poster for me.
"I remember that phone call." He says as he gets back in his car. "Our first one."
"Ok...?"
"You know... While you were fighting monsters."
"Yeah I know the call."
"Where were you?"
"I'm sorry Oscar but we've barely talked why are you all sentimental with me now?"
"I've changed." He starts his car. "It has been 6 months, after all."
"Riiight..." I mumble. "BYE!" And I watch his old car bump away. I cut a portal.
"TO MEWNI!" I screams and hop through the portal.

POV RED
"I have returned." I cackle. "You shall all perish the way my mom did." I scream as power surges through me. I've had six months to build up enough magic, this should be a problem.
"THIS IS WERE YOU SCREAM!" I fly into the sky and dark storm clouds cover the once happy town. Lightning cracks and thunder rolls.
"SHADOW GEAR!" I scream and giant shadow-men appear and crash houses and break shops. People scream, making me very happy.
"I don't want to hurt the new flourishing town." I scream and create a my Shadow Knight armor on me and fly to the castle, my shadow army following.
"I told you there would be a war!" I scream as the shadow-giants crash though the walls to the palace.
"You took my family from me, Star Butterfly." I take my sword as stab it into the castles wall. "I'm just going to return the favor."
And with a swift motion, the wall explodes with a blast of darkness.
