McCoy
"We need to get them stabilized!" Someone yelled. I had just been been beamed up from an away mission. We had been ambushed, all of injured and in critical condition. As far as i knew, I was the last one conscious, but, I could feel myself slipping away. "(Y/N)! I need you to tell us what happened!" McCoy shouted. He was my all time crush. "We were ambushed..." Was all I could say. "Damn it (Y/N)! I know that! What did they use to attack you!" I was shaking now. You knew they had used spears coated in a poison, but I couldn't speak. The poison was causing me to shake. "Someone get me a hypo!" McCoy yelled. The needle stuck in my neck, and I passed out.
"I don't think she'll make it..." Something pounded on a nearby table. "I haven't kept a close eye on her for the past three years for her to die!" McCoy shouted. "Dr.McCoy. There is a very small chance that Miss (L/N) will survive this, and you know it as well as I." Spock said. "I just, ugh. Damn it." I could hear a heart monitor. There was a steady beep. "Bones! What's the status on the patients from the latest away mission." It was the captain. "None of them survived except for (Y/N). And she's almost gone..." McCoy said. "I know what she means to you." He liked me? "Kirk god damn it, if she can hear I'm going to kill you." I could hear. Please, let me wake up. I need to tell him. Please...
"McCoy. I know you want her to wake up, but it's not good for you to not get any sleep. The next away mission is coming back soon, an knowing the crew's luck, they'll need you." I opened my eyes. "I guess you're right." McCoy said. "Umm..." I said, not knowing how to word this. McCoy looked up almost instantly. "(Y/N)! H-how..." I sat up. My head was spinning, and I couldn't focus on anything. "I advise you against trying to sit up." Spock said. "Spock, I could really care less what you advise me right now." McCoy was running around, like a chicken without a head. "McCoy! Calm down." I yelled at him. He stopped in his tracks. He refused to look me in the eye. "I heard what you said." I said quietly, staring at him. He set the vial he was holding down on a table. "Spock, make sure (Y/N) is ok." He walked out of the room. Spock raised an eyebrow at me. ."I do believe i will never fully understand the logic behind human emotion." I laughed. Laying back down, i pondered what had happened. "Miss (L/N), you vitals are stable. You may leave, but if you experience anything strange, come back." I thnked Spock, and left. I accidentally ran into someone. "What the hell?" They said. "Sorry. I was just thinking about something." I looked up to see McCoy himself standing in front of me. "I'm sorry for what I did, (Y/N)." I stared at him. "You did nothing wrong. And honestly, it surprised me, that you feel the same way about me, that I well, that I feel about you?" I said it more like a question. "Damn it." He hugged me, burying his face in the crook of my neck. I hugged him back. Maybe I should go on away missions more often.
