Kirk
"(Y/N)! Wake up!" There was pounding on my door, and it jolted me from sleep. I walked over to the door, in my pajamas. "Kirk?" I asked. I didn't have my glasses on, so I was basically blind as a bat. "Yeah, get dressed. We need you on the bridge, Uhura's out sick." I shiged. Today was my day off. "Ok." I walked over to my bed, reached for my glasses. Sliding them onto my face, I walked over to the closet. I had all my uniforms hung messily, so I quickly grabbed one and closed the closet. Kirk was sitting on my couch. "Um, I kinda have to change." Kirk turned around. "Sorry." We had been dating for a few weeks now, and honestly, Kirk was acting weird. "You ok, perfect hair?" He nodded. I changed, and pulled him out the door. We speed walked to the turbolift. "Keptin on ze bridge." Kirk put his hand on my waist, and walked me over to my station. "Incoming transmission." Sulu said. "Bring it up." An image of an alien appeared on the screen. It started to Talk in a foreign language. "What's he saying?" Kirk looked at me. "We have captured several starfleet ships, and unless you surrender as well, we'll blow you to oblivion." It was the Elliern tongue, but the alien was not Elliern. I had translated it for him, and he looked at me. "Any suggestions?" I shrugged. "Ok then. Spock?" Kirk seemed really lost now. "Captain, I haven't the slightest idea on this situation." I took my glasses off and cleaned them on the edge of my uniform. I asked the alien what it had against the federation, and why it spoke in the Elliern tongue, when it was in fact not of that race. The alien talked for a bit, and Kirk watched me intently. "He, says he is from another part of the universe, and apparently a few years ago, Starfleet sent a drone out there, and it, well, it had malfunctioned, and blasted a hole in the side of their shine to their gods." Kirk's jaw dropped. "Translate this for me." He said, and sat up straight again. "We apologize for the malfunction of the drone. We will gladly help you repair your shrine, and again, apologize for the damage." The alien talked to the others on it's ship, before turning back to me. "They say that none of the other ships offered that, and tht they accept the offer." The transmission ended, and Kirk began to assemble a team to go down to the planet with him. "Captain, I volunteer myself." I said. Kirk shook his head. "We don't know what's down there." I rolled my eyes. Classic overprotective boyfriend. "I am the only one on this ship qualified to translate for you. Now, if you'd like to just speak gibberish to the aliens, and get us blown to bits, be my guest." Sulu and Chekov went "Ohh" But stopped when Kirk glared at them. "Fine." He said. Kirk, Spock, Scotty and I along with a few strong security officers would be going to the surface. We grabbed some supplies, and walked down to transporter room B. Chekov was going to beam us down. "Ready to beam." Kirk said. "Beaming in three, two, one." We landed in the middle of a village. They were human like aliens, with reptilian tails. I recognized the alien from the transmission walking towards us. "Knaht o'u rof gnimoc, fi uoy lliw wollof em, I nac wohs uoy erehw uoy lliw eb gnikrow." He said. (Thank you for coming, if you will follow me, I can show you where you will be working.) We walked for a bit, before coming to a large temple with a large hole in the side. I saw the remains of the drone, class B, meant for long range exploring on minimal power. "Llahs ew trats yb gnivomer eht sniamer fo eht enord?" I asked. (Shall we start by removing the remains of the drone?) He nodded, and called a few of the aliens trying to move it. He told them we were here to help. Kirk was just watching it all unfold. The alien that had led us here introduced himself, and whispered in my ear, "Tahw si a lufitaeub ydal ekil flesruoy gniod ni Ecaps? I od ton ees rehtoyna selamef no ruoy maet." I blushed, at what he had said. Kirk pulled me away. "What did he say?" He asked. "Well, he said 'What is a beautiful lady like yourself doing in Space? I do not see any other females on your team.'" Kirk's face reddened a bit. "Don't let him do that again." For the next four hours, we worked and eventually patched the hole in the wall. The alien, Hryl'dae, led u back to the village. The officers from the other starships thanked us, and the villagers brought us gifts. Hryl'dae gave me wreath made of the flowers of a tree near the shrine. I thanked him, and smelt the flowers. They smelled like, mint. Then we said our goodbyes, and Chekov beamed us back up. Kirk grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me to the observatory, knocking my glasses off in the process. Once we were alone, he pulled me in for a kiss. After a few minutes of kissing, he said to me, "Now, an I more handsome than 'Hryl'dae'?" I laughed. "Can't really, tell, I don't have my glasses, mister walking blob."
Please don't kill me for not updating! I've been really busy, and I couldn't really think of what to do with this! Also, a quick tip for those of you writing, and need a language you'll use maybe once, just find a backwards word generator. All the Elliern language here, is just the translation backwards! Well, I'll be updating soon! See you later my little peeplets!
