You-Spock
Two Spocks in a row?! Nice ;) Here you go -DanielleBarnes, thank you for your request and I hope it was along the lines of what you were hoping for!
The deafening sound of your brother's snoring masked the sound of your little giggles escaping as you held a permanent marker in your hand, a practical relic, making cat-eye eyeliner on his closed lids. Jim was always a light sleeper so you took every moment that you could to prank him in his sleep after a particularly long day.
You had just finished with the faux liner when you heard familiar footfalls behind you. You turned around and gave Spock a look of playful urgency to come look at what you had done.
Tilting his head to the side slightly, his brow creased just a smidge, he stepped forward, leaning over above you, casting you in his shadow. He kept his hands clasped behind his back as he observed your handiwork.
"(Y/n), do you not find this elementary?" He kept his voice low and you scratched your arm to ward away goosebumps.
You feigned offense. "My art skills or my choice of free time activity?"
Spock looked down at you, a sharp brow raised. "Both."
You inched the pen close to his face as you closed your eyes to slits. "You don't need to be here if it's too "elementary" for you."
Spock kept his voice low as he reached over, gently clasping your wrist to move your pen-wielding hand to hover over Kirk's forehead. "Might I suggest you make one more altercation before we leave for him to wake up on his own."
Your heart raced at the Vulcan's touch and encouragement to continue. "And what might be your suggestion."
Spock looked you right in the eyes as a small smile pulled at the corner of his lips. "A set of his own "devil-smirking" eyebrows."
You about lost it right then and there. You smiled up at Spock as your words came out in hiccups. "You-you never cease to sur-surprise me!"
You quickly drew on some quite impressive and overly exaggerated Vulcan brows on your unsuspecting Captain. Once you finished you and Spock stepped back and admired your handiwork. Kirk twitched, letting out a snore as he itched his nose.
Spock took that as a cue to leave. He placed a hand on your back, effectively grabbing your attention. "Come. Dr. McCoy will be wondering as to where we ran off to. We were scheduled for a medical update when I found you."
His hand didn't leave your back as the two of you made your way to the Medbay, making it somewhat hard to concentrate on the small talk passing between you. Suddenly, the sound of someone letting out a frustrated yell followed by your name caused the both of you to hurry into the next turbo lift. A nervous laugh escaped you as you leaned against the lift, hugging your sides.
Spock merely looked at you, his eyes slightly crinkling with humor. "It is safe to say he saw your art."
You nodded, smiling wide. "I'm surprised I got that much on him without him waking up."
Soon the lift opened and the two of you made your way to the Medbay, your hands brushing against one another. You tried to not think about that or his hand on your back earlier but your mind couldn't help but jump to conclusions.

Spock rubbed his face in annoyance as he waiting in his quarters to have a much-needed talk with Nyota. The two of them had been growing distant lately and he could no longer ignore the attraction he felt for you. Despite your connection with the Captain, Spock found himself looking forward to times with you and putting a lot of stock into what you way. Especially about him.
Uhura entered, her usual glow absent. Before Spock could say anything, she held up her hand and shook her head slightly. "I'm sorry Spock. But...I...I just can't."
Not fully understanding her words but picking up on her actions Spock almost felt bad for not feeling at least a little bit of disappointment as his relationship with her came to a close. He honestly felt the same. He lost his spark when his mother died and he needed someone to rekindle that in him. Spock just nodded, accepting her hug and a soft kiss on the cheek before she left, leaving him to his thoughts that unabashedly were filled with you.
He was thinking of finding you before the Enterprise docked at Yorktown. But he opted to stay his eagerness to see you in place of meditation. He needed to sort out his feelings before he acted irrationally. He had come to the realization that he only tended to do that around you.

You absentmindedly rubbed the scar on your hand as you stared at the large Yorktown settlement, trying your hardest not to think about how close Spock was standing to you, his arm brushing yours.
You had made up your mind to not assume anything. You weren't sure if he was still with Nyota. You had no intentions of getting between that knowing both of them very well.
Kirk moved over to stand on your other side, elbowing you in the side. "So what do you think Squirt?"
You rolled your eyes and scoffed. "Honestly? I'm unimpressed. They don't seem to have any floating aquariums yet."
Your brother screwed his face and looked at Yorktown with feigned scrutiny. "You know what, you're right. Maybe now that I'm something of a well-known captain I can pull a few strings."
You laughed, leaning your head against his shoulder. "Finally. Using your rank for what it's good for. Pleasing your favorite sister."
"You're my only sister."
You shrugged, going back to rubbing your palm. "Same difference."
Spock turned to you, noticing your absentminded fiddling. "I had assumed you were fully healed from that accident."
You turned to him, your heart beating at the show of slight concern on his face. "Oh! This?" You lifted your hand, showing him the three and a half inch scar from the base of your pinky finger to the meat of your thumb. "It's fine. It just happens that your Vulcan rock makes it hard for human skin to fully heal. I have an impressive scar, though."
He reached out and traced it, your hand tingling at his touch. You swallowed before shrugging. "I don't mind, really."
You weren't ready for your words to come out so breathy and by the look on Spock's face, neither was he. Luckily, before anything else happened, Kirk called for everyone to get ready as they docked. The two of you split apart, Spock squaring his shoulders as you wiped your hands on your skirt.
Kirk gave you a knowing smirk. You stuck your tongue out at him, hoping with all your heart he didn't see what happened between you and Spock and you wished with every ounce of your body that he wouldn't use it against you as payback for the face art.

(HUGE AS HECK TIME JUMP)
Spock fingered his mother's necklace that he took back from Nyota in his hands as he and his friends tried to think of a way to locate the base where you and the rest of the crew were being held. Had he told her to keep the necklace or given it to you soon after getting it back, like he had planned, they would have used it to locate where you were by now.
Kirk was beside himself. He had watched his little sister detach from the ship with their monster of a leader inside with you. Spock deemed you a hero, but he too found himself ignoring the pit he felt in his stomach at the thought of you in trouble.
Suddenly, a memory resurfaced. A memory he held fondly of you. It was the second year in space and you were growing restless with being cooped up. Spock knew of your wish to roam worlds and explore but you could only get there by having experience in space. So one night he took you into his room to learn to meditate. You were messing around with some of his Vulcan belongings when he had startled you, causing you to jump. You slipped on your meditation rug and fell on your hands and knees with the stone infused with vokaya still in one of your hands.
You said you were fine but the amount of blood startled Spock and he had you seen to, taking full responsibility. It wasn't until a few days ago that he had learned you still harbored a scar from the incident.
Spock's head snapped up. Perhaps you still harbored part of the vokaya stone aswell.

You tried to hold back sobs as you ran from Krall. You knew there wasn't anything you could do to bring back Syl but it ate at you as you ran. You spotted a federation uniform not far off, fending off some attackers. They seemed injured. You picked up a somewhat large rock, hitting one of the enemy across the back of their head, rendering them unconscious.
"Spock!" you breathed as you rushed forward, pulling him up off the ground. He grimaced, quickly leaning on you heavily. "What are you doing here?"
Spock got a good look at you, wanting to make sure you were alright. If he weren't in so much pain he would have taken you into his arms. "Clearly rescuing you."
You couldn't help but smile as the two of you made your way back to the crew, getting ready for the next plan. You were ready to get payback.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You helped Jaylah rig the Franklin with the retro song, trying not to think about Spock in pain and in harm's way. You rubbed your scar again, standing by your brother as everyone got ready. Jim looked up at you from his seat, taking your hand in his.
"Don't worry Squirt, Bones will take good care of him."
"That's exactly why I'm worried."
The two of you smiled but the both of you knew this was a long shot and there were a lot of lives on the line. He kissed your hand and gave it a squeeze before you left to go sit down, securing yourself as you closed your eyes, wishing for all of this to end.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You smiled at the group of people gathered to celebrate your brother's birthday. But you were particularly happy to see Spock. He was healed now and talking with Nyota. You couldn't catch what they were talking about from your table but you had an idea when she looked at you and smiled, turning back to Spock and nodded in your direction. Spock bowed his head respectfully before making his way over to you, each of his steps making your heart beat faster.
He stood particularly close as he set his drink beside yours, taking your scarred hand in his. His dark but comforting eyes searched your (e/c) ones as he lightly traced the raised line.
"I trust you are well." His voice was low but inviting.
You nodded, not trusting your voice as you tried to calm your rushing heart. You were positive he could feel your pounding hard through your hand.
"Thank you."
You blinked out of your revorey as you tried to make sense of his gratitude. "What for? You found and saved us. I should be thanking you."
Spock moved a hand reaching up to stroke your cheek. "Thank you for being you. For being safe. And for falling on that vokaya rock."
You giggled slightly, closing your hand around his. "You're welcome? I guess."
Spock tilted your head up a bit, this thumb tracing over your lips. "I believe I am going to kiss you."
Before you could say anything his soft lips captured yours as he pulled you to him. You smiled into the kiss, your eyes closing slowly. Spock finally felt whole again as he held you in his arms. The two of you would have stayed like that had your brother not just entered, threatening to separate your Vulcan from his "spear pointed ears" if he saw his little sister in his arms again.
You pulled away, but only slightly, laughing as you leaned against Spock. Spock kept his face hidden in your hair as he let himself smile wide for the first time. You were the spark he needed to feel alive again.
Dang so many jumps but I thought this came together quite well. That's the last of my requests and so I'll be working on a few of my own ideas until more come along. Hope you are all well! Kisses!
