Kelvin Pod- McCoy
The ship shook, forcing you to grasp onto the nearest thing, that being the good doctor, Bones. He grunted and looked at you, clasping your shoulders to steady you. You looked up at him, giving him a small smile, but the ship lurched again causing you to fall into his chest.
"As much as I want you in my arms, doll, you just happen to have terrible timing."
You scoffed with a small smirk. "Don't you wish."
Suddenly, the blaring yellow lights turned red and alarms sounded. The ship jerked to the side, causing the two of you to hold on to one another as Bones braced up against the wall. People and sick bay supplies alike rushed from side to side as the ship started to sustain heavy damage. The voice of Captain Kirk came over the loudspeaker, calling for us so abandon ship. Your heart thumped hard as you looked around at the shocked yet relieved faces of your crewmembers. You looked up at McCoy, wildly aware that his arms were still around you and you still leaned into him heavily. His eyes flickered to the spot on the wall where you and a few others knew where his designated Kelvin pod was.
You moved to where you were then behind him, ignoring his exclamations of surprise and reluctance. You did your best to push him into the direction of his pod so he could get out safely, silently hoping there will be a pod somewhere open for you.
"What in the name- stop (Y/n)!" McCoy turns to look at you, planting his feet but swayed with the next hit to the ship.
You blew at some hair in your face and stood up as tall as you could, motioning for others to rush to evacuation pods. "As much as I want to have a heated argument with you, dear, you just happen to have terrible timing." You waved your arms in the air as another shot rocked the ship, but this time it felt bigger.
Bones turned and rushed to a monitor that showed one of the hallways. A pointy object rammed into the hull, piercing it then opening into the hall, letting out three to four armored aliens out. Your eyes widened and you rushed to make sure everyone was out. Once the last crewmen took off in a pod, Bones came up to you and took your arm roughly as he pulled you to his Kelvin Pod.
"No! This is yours, Leonard!" You tried to pull away from him but his grip was strong.
"I will find another way out. I just need to make sure you are safe."
Your face heated at the deep concern in his remark. "I'm touched, Doctor, but you are more important, safe and alive. There are a few more pods on the other end of the sick bay. If I hurry I can-"
But before you could finish your sentence one of the doors blasted open and a couple of aliens rushed in. Quickly the two of you disposed of them but you didn't get to breathe easily quite yet. Spock rushed in, a green bruise forming on his cheek.
"Doctor, I need your assistance."
Bones nodded and reached for a medical pack. But before he rushed out after the Vulcan, he turned to you and pointed urgently at the Kelvin pod. "You. In there. Now."
You rolled your eyes and nodded, knowing that there was no way for you to win this argument. Your heart throbbed at the look of genuine relief on his face as he gave you one last long look as if remembering you. Then he nodded and rushed off.
You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding. You looked at the Kelvin pod, extremely tempted to take it but you hated the idea of taking his only, though slim, chance of making it out alive.
Tears threatened to spill onto your cheeks as you rushed to the last known areas where you were sure some crew pods were stashed. You pushed aside debris and restrained from looking at the fallen crew. A green blinking light grasped your attention as you came upon the last crew pod left. You suddenly heard the sound of alien chatter so you rushed to get in. You watched as three of them ran in but couldn't get to you in time as the ship shook and sparks started to fly. You took a deep breath and hit the eject button, shooting you into space.
Your hand flew to your mouth as you watched pod after pod get taken by enemy ships. So it wouldn't have mattered, you thought. A tear escaped along with a scream as you closed your eyes to the fast approaching ship, ready to take you away.

You groaned as you felt your life force get sucked from your body. You heard screams and you watched as one of your friends stepped forward and screamed something about giving the man want he wants. You close your eyes as you were dropped carelessly to the floor. Uhura shouted in protest but Syl opened up the back of her head and gave the angry man what he wanted. You watched with panting breaths as he took Uhura and Syl away.
"Wait..." You wheezed.
Syl turned around. "I'm sorry, friend."
You shook your head. "Don't be." Soon they disappeared and deep down you knew you won't be seeing her again.
Sulu rushed over and helped you up. You nodded thanks to him as you limped around the compound area you were imprisoned in with about forty other crew members. You spotted more in other compounds behind you but you knew you couldn't help them unless you could get out first.
You suddenly became light headed and slumped against a wall, letting your head lean back as you tried to steady your breathing. Sulu came rushing up to you, setting his hand on your shoulder.
"Are you alright?"
You peeked one eye open then closed it, snorting a bit. "Oh yeah, just peachy."
"Sorry about that. I should have taken the beating instead."
You gently shook your head and looked at him. "No, don't be sorry. I don't have a family back at home."
Sulu grunted as he sat on the ground next to you. "I wouldn't say that. I have seen you crack a smile on that grumpy doctor's face two or three times before." He nudged you with a small smile.
You snorted again, closing your eyes as you leaned back again. "Maybe. Wake me when something big happens. My body feels like I just crawled out of Hell."
Sulu patted your shoulder gently. "You got it."

"Come on (Y/l/n), I thought I told you to take my pod."
You could have sworn you heard the McCoy's deep voice but you were really tired. Your eyes scrunched at the pain you felt as your body being moved. You then opened them when you felt a hand on your cheek. The face before you made you want to laugh and cry at the same time.
"Doctor, it's your pod." You whispered as you blinked yourself into reality.
Bones cursed under his breath as he looked down. A shot fired close by making him look up and at you. You looked at him questioningly but he avoided your eyes as he gingerly helped you up, wrapping his arms around your middle and your arms around his neck. You couldn't help but lean into him as he took charge and started ordering people around and waiting with you to be part of the last group to be beamed back.
"How did you make it out?" You finally asked once everyone made it on to the old ship Franklin and Bones got you situated in a makeshift sick bay.
He just shrugged but you wouldn't take that as an answer. You rest your hand on his arm before he turned away to see to someone else. You looked at him pointedly. He sighed and gave in, sitting down next to you. He told you about his flight in the alien ship and the whole ordeal with Spock. As he talked, you moved your hand from his arm down to his hand where he absentmindedly played with your fingers.
Once he was done talking, he turned to you, his eyes so full of passion you were sure you were seeing things. "Why didn't you take the Kelvin Pod?" McCoy whispered as he moved one of his hands to fix your hair over your face.
You shrugged then laughed at the look he gave you. "You know my answer. It was yours and I wanted to make sure you had even the slightest chance of making it out." You reached up with your free hand and wiped a smudge of dirt off his cheek. "But it looks like I had nothing to worry about."
McCoy let a smile pull at the corner of his lips as he reached up and held your hand to his face. You smiled too, loving the moment of quiet after such pain and worry. But the moment didn't last long. Kirk rushed in calling for Bones. His eyes widened at what he saw, clearing his throat as the looked between the two of you.
"Sorry Bones, but it looks like Spock has an idea you might be interested in."
McCoy nodded, turning away from him to look back at you. You gave him a thin smile as you stroked his cheek one more time. "Be safe out there."
He nodded, looked at you for a few more seconds then blinked. Bones shook his head as he turned and left, ready to pull the point right out of the Vulcan's ears. You watched him leave, not at all sure why you were suddenly so worried about the southern doctor.

You rushed through the crowd and watched as your captain fell toward the space vacuum, your breath caught in your throat. Your captain did not go through all that he did just to end up getting sucked out into nothingness. But a small alien ship came around the corner and blocked the hole, saving the captain. You whooped in celebration, going to the building that they just landed in front of. Being a nurse yourself and not seeing the good doctor anywhere, you rushed up to the captain, taking in his beat up face and limping form.
What you weren't ready for was the bodies of Spock and McCoy coming out of the alien ship all smiling and laughing. Well, as much as a Vulcan would smile and laugh. Unknowingly you changed direction and rushed into the arms of Leonard McCoy, burying your face in his chest. You hear him chuckle and wrap his arms around you, holding you close.
"I thought I told you to be careful!" You mumbled into his chest.
Leonard smoothed your hair, chuckling at the look Kirk was giving him. "Well, Kirk couldn't be the only cowboy at the rodeo."
You laughed as you pulled away just enough to kiss him under his jaw, feeling him grow warm. "At least you three can live another day worrying the crap out of the Federation."
At that Kirk let out a loud laugh and Spock smiled just barely. Bones chuckled again and pulled you to his side as the four of you walked off to get cleaned up and check up on the remaining crew. You smiled to yourself as you felt his other hand found yours, lacing your fingers with is.
This is for the wonderful @Skyler_Psych124 and her unwavering patience in our long distance friendship! Love you!
Hey there my lovelies! So sorry I have been dormant for a while, life has been a series of unfortunate events right after another. BUT things have calmed down for the moment and I am itching to write. I will not be writing for every guy now, I will probably stick to McCoy, Kirk, and Spock unless otherwise requested. Don't get me wrong, I love Scotty, Chekov, and Sulu, but they are honestly harder to write for. ANYWHO, let me know what you think and if you guys want anything in particular! Kisses!
