Deliverance- Kirk

cutiewithabow-I hope this is to your liking! Thanks for the request and enjoy!

You blinked hard as you reached up to cradle your head but you found it hard to move your body, feeling heavy and sleepy. You heard voices, one you recognized, one you didn't and it gave you chills. Suddenly your body shook as the ground beneath you rumbled and you could have sworn you were moving. But your mind grew foggy and it went black.

You heard your captain shouting something. Something about being stranded and needing help. She sounded distressed and you really wanted to get up and see what was wrong but again, you found you couldn't move. Your head pounded and your limbs ached. Then you heard the sound of another voice, one you couldn't fully understand. You were able to call out to your captain but she ignored you, continuing with her plea that suspiciously sounded rehearsed.

When Kirk got the call about a found escape vessel he wasn't sure if he was up to the challenge of another mission so soon after just landing in Yorktown. After the survivor was fitted with a voice collaborator and language aids, he stood there, listening to the alien captain recount what happened and cringed internally at her plea of help. The admiral pulled him aside and spoke to him, gauging how he felt about taking on this mission. But he assured her that he and his crew were the best they had at the moment and that he will help.

He met up with with the female captain, telling her that he was ready to leave when she was. She surprised him by asking for another favor.

"Please," her voice was overlayed with the English translation, "I have another one that came with me, she is in my ship still. I did not tell you until now in fear of what you may do to her. But seeing as I can trust you I ask you take her with us. She needs medical attention."

Kirk nodded. "Of course." She nodded and left as he turned to his friend who happened to timely pass by. "Bones, it seems there were two on that ship and the second one is in need of medical attention."

Bones looked off in the direction the other captain left, sneering at her back. "You would think she would be more concerned about her injured crewman considering all that she has been through."

"I agree," Kirk replied solemnly, turning to go retrieve the stowaway.

Once they reached the ship Bones found you, shaking his head at the state you were in. "Looks like she was hit upside the head then sedated."

Kirk got a good look at you, scanning your body for weapons. "Huh. Be sure to keep an eye on her. Take her to sickbay and keep here there until we know exactly what is going on."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your ears rang and you let out a gasp as you sat up, breathing hard as you tried to find your bearings. You were in a medical facility apparently on a ship. You looked around; no sign of your captain. But you were interrupted by the sounds of something familiar. Your ears perked and you used your hyped hearing to single out the sound of the horde of ships racing right for this ship.
Suddenly everything came back to you. Krall. The swarm of ships. The planet in the meteor nebula. The voices of your captain and Krall talking. Your eyes widened; you remembered stumbling upon their conversation, hearing too much and getting hit upside your head.
You had to warn the captain of this ship. Your captain was leading them into a trap.
Ignoring all shouts and calls from the medical officers around you, you raced through the unfamiliar halls, trying to find your way to the cockpit. You found a map on a wall and quickly studied it, finding you were relatively close. You sprinted into the room filled with officers and you spotted your captain.
A man in a yellow shirt looked between you and your leader, his eyes widening in the realization. You looked at the large screen, your eyes squinting in anger at the hive of ships making their way closer. You pointed to the screen and shouted a warning but you knew they couldn't understand your words.
So you hoped they understood your actions.
You barreled forward and tackled your leader, taking her to the ground. She let out cries of help that were masked by a language you couldn't understand. You ignored it as you wrestled her, trying to get her pinned.
Suddenly you found yourself pulled off of her by strong arms. you looked over and gave the yellow shirt a glare, his blue eyes piercing you with a look that made you yearn for him to understand.
"What are you doing?! She is sending you into a trap!"
He shook his head. He didn't understand you. So you pulled away from him and pointed to the screen again, shouting with urgency. "You are in danger!"
Sure enough, he saw the swarm and you watched as called orders. The ship shook and your heart plummeted as you watched them tear the ship up. You stood off to the side, not wanting to get in the way. But you made sure to keep an eye on your captain, not at all trusting her. You felt a hand on your shoulder and you looked to see the yellow shirt with blue eyes standing with a man you recognized from the medical room.
The man in the blue shirt handed you an ear piece and then moved to place a small electronic strip on your collar of your shirt. You put the ear piece in and suddenly the shouts and voices around you made sense.
"You need to get out of here as soon as you can!"
Blue eyes nodded. "I know. But the ship is badly damaged." He turned to a man who called him, talking about needing to separate the saucer from the rest of the ship. Blue eyes nodded, saying how he needed to take care of something. He turned to you, looking between you and your captain.
"Stay here and keep an eye on her. I need to know what is going on."
You nodded and watched as he rushed off a face of determination streaked with lines of worry and almost fear. Suddenly, it all happened so fast. Soon you found yourself stuffed into an escape pod by Blue eyes as he shot some of Krall's intruders. Before the escape pod door shut, he grabbed your hand.
"Once you land, find my crew. Please help them."
You nodded but squeezed his hand. "We will help them together. I plan on meeting you down there. No one will follow me without their leader."
Blue eyes nodded, squeezing your hand back before pulling away and sending your pod into space.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You took a gasping breath as you dangled from a tree, the strap around your shoulders and middle holding you to the swaying pod as your door lay broken on the forest floor. You tried to wiggle out but it was hard, not wanting to plummet to the ground and land on something wrong.

You stilled and listened around you, honing in on the sound of movement and voices, hoping to pick up Blue Eyes or someone from his crew. Sure enough not thirty meters away you spotted movement; three figures, one of which was the form of your captain.

"Hey! Help! I'm up here!"

One of the forms, the tallest one, turned at the sound of your voice. They jogged over, the other two following. Your heart leapt once you noticed it was Blue Eyes, the captain that you trusted.

"Are you hurt?" He called up. Your captain looked on, not at all amused.

You shook your head. "But I'm afraid there is no way for me to get down other than to fall. But I'd rather not break anything."

You watched as the handsome man searched around only to come to the same conclusion. But you gave him an odd look as he came to stand right under you, his arms reaching up. "Drop down. I'll catch you."

You shook your head. "I'm too heavy. I'll crush you."

He smiled and let out a little chuckle, making your heart beat faster but your nerves ease up. "If it makes you feel any better dangle off the edge of the pod base, that way it's a softer fall."

You nodded, not wanting to take up too much time. So carefully, you uncliped yourself and made it to where you were dangling off the bottom of the pod, looking down to make sure he was still there.

"When I say so, let go. I promise to catch you."

"Alright." Your voice was quiet.

"And drop...NOW!"

You squeezed your eyes shut as you let out a squeal, letting go. You thought you would literally crush him bun instead he wrapped his arms under yours, the two of you falling on the ground in a heap. Thankfully neither of you got hurt.

He helped you stand, brushing off dirt from your arms and side. "See? Not crushed."

You smiled. "So it seems. (Y/n) by the way."

"James T. Kirk."

You heard a groan behind him, followed by the sound of your captain's voice. "If we want to save both our crew we need to leave now."

You gave her a hard glare, but when Kirk placed his hand on your shoulder you eased up, looking at him for instruction.

"Chekov had an idea. We aren't too far from the wrecked enterprise. I'm sure we can find a way to get a signal to the other surviving crew from there."

"Lead the way, Captain Kirk." You nodded, sweeping your arm over the forest, bowing slightly.

"Stay close. I have a feeling something is about to happen." He leaned in close to you and the younger man as the group walked, your captain walking off ahead.

"I'm by your side. You can trust me."

He looked at you, his eyes glowing with respect. "Thank you. I believe I already do."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The group found the ship, it proving difficult to navigate the wreckage. As it turned out you needed to split up. Kirk needed to find an artifact and your captain was instant to stay with him, so you found yourself with the younger man, Chekov. You were to help him get the power back online.
You thought things were going smoothly until Chekov told you the plan. He stayed behind to track a transmission while you raced after the others, making sure you weren't loud. You soon found yourself staring at your captain holding a phaser at Kirk. Your blood boiled.
"I knew it." You stepped forward, taking out your own phaser and pointing it at her head. "Pity. I trusted you."
"Pity indeed," she sneered. Suddenly you spotted movement being Kirk, a green hue in the darkness.
"Kirk! Look out!" You dived forward, grabbing him and throwing him behind you as you heard shots fired.
You looked up and spotted Chekov rushing forward, helping the two of you to your feet. "Come, I tracked her signal. I know where to go."
Kirk looked back at you, reaching out to make sure you weren't left behind. But noticed he was in the line of fire, so you jumped forward, pushing him aside. You felt a sharp searing pain in the back of your shoulder as well as your leg. You let out a cry, falling to the floor.
Kirk helped you stumble along the wrecked corridors, Chekov leading the way. "Are you alright?"
You winced, your vision growing blurry with pain. "I'll manage. Let's just get out of here."
The next few moments were hazy as you remember running from a blast and sliding down the front of the ship disc, coming to land in Kirk's arms again as he helped you escape the falling broken ship.
After a few moments of running, you had to lay down. The pain was becoming too much and you didn't like the thought of dying from overexertion from injury. Kirk seemed to notice as well.
"Let's take a break and rest a moment."
You shook your head, as you tried to sit down with the help of Kirk. "No, go on. I'll only slow you down. I will be safe here a moment as you go find your crew." You blinked long, it suddenly becoming hard to stay awake. "I will only slow you down."
Kirk shook his head. "I can't just leave you."
You rolled your eyes, letting yourself smirk. "You can and you will. Now go." You pushed on his chest to have him leave.
He covered your hand on his chest with one of his. "Don't go anywhere. I promise to get you." His voice was low and kind, making you feel warm.
You could only manage a nod as you felt your consciousness slip away.
Ummmmm PART TWO ANYONE?! Dang, I like where this one is going...do you?
