Cry Baby- Bones
ioanasandu1401 requested this and I actually like how it turned out. Thanks for your patience! I have been soooooo sick. Other requests on the way :)
Bones let out a huff of air, running his hands through his hair. It has been one of the longest day's for him and he could not wait to get to his room and sleep forever. He got into a turbo lift and requested his floor, but suddenly the lift jerked and he could feel the ship power down for a moment before things started humming again.
Rolling his eyes, Bones requested for the Bridge. "I leave my station for one moment..." He didn't finish his sentence as he stepped out of the turbo lift and stood in shock at what he saw.
"I am too old for this."

You were called up to the Bridge for your shift and an odd hour of the day. You were about to go visit Bones, maybe grab something to eat before his shift ended. But you were glad you were called up when you saw who you were filling in for, rush down the hall to the med-bay, his face not looking so good.
You nodded to Kirk when you entered the Bridge then took your seat. You spotted Chekov and he gave you a sweet smile which you reciprocated. Spock strode in and gave you a kirt nod. You were about to greet Uhura when Chekov alerted the captain.
"Um, sir? I have detected an anomaly that has appeared out of nowhere, sir."
Kirk stood, stepping forward a bit. "Bring it on screen."
You watched in awe as a purple like cloud made its way toward the Enterprise at an alarming speed. Suddenly the ship was thrown into red alert and you did your best to follow the orders that were shouted across the Bridge. You looked up at the screen one more time before your mouth opened in horror as the cloud came closer and enveloped the ship. The last thing you remember was a blinding light, the rocking of the ship, and a certain doctor's smile before you were thrown into darkness.

Bones let out a string of curse words as he stared at the twenty or so babies that now littered the Bridge floor. He knew being a part of this crew he was going to be a part of and see some crazy things but not once did he imagine he would ever see Jim and Spock drowning in their own clothes as they sucked on their thumbs.
"What-nope I'm not even going to ask. I am going to resign after this. Mark my words."
He spotted you at your station, looking around in awe. You were a bit older looking than the others, which he found interesting. He picked you up and looked you over, keeping your dress on you despite it being several sizes too big.
"Now what happened here? Why are you bigger than the others." He tapped your nose.
You giggled and took his finger, holding onto it for dear life. You looked around and made babbling noises as you tried to squirm out of his arms.
"Oh no you don't. I need to keep you all with me."
His face blanched. All 500 of the crew?
Suddenly cries filled the room as the crew started to feel how hungry and cold they were. Not knowing what else to do, Bones took all the crew to sickbay where he made several blocked off areas in hopes to keep everyone alive if not safe.
"No, no, no. Don't eat that."
"Put that down Spock. What are you, stupid?"
"Please stop crying Uhura, your nose runs."
"Jim I swear to God I will give you up for adoption if you scream one more time"
Bones felt like crying, laughing and dying all at once. After gathering all the crew and civilians, putting nappies on them and getting about half of them to sleep, he finally got to work on how to reverse it all.
You sat on his lap as he worked at his desk, messing with an empty hypo shot. Your hair was short and curved around your ears giving you an adorable bob. You were about three or four years old when everyone else was about 6 months to a year. Bones looked down at you, the sounds of the other crew members babbling in the background.
"Why why are you older than the others?" Bones whispered.
You looked up at him and gave him a toothy gapped smile, your small arms raising in a shrug. "I donno. I'm hungry."
His eyes widened at your sudden response but he then rolled them, not at all surprised anymore. "Of course you are. Wait here. I'll get you something."
Bones looked over the group and let out a groan. He requested something from the replicator safe for all the new babies to eat; applesauce. Not liking the idea of feeding almost 500 babies, he called you over, to hand you a small bowl of the food.
"Here you go kiddo. Eat up and see if you can help the others who are awake eat."
But when you turned a corner and walked up to him Bones about dropped the applesauce. You were taller and you smiled at him showing off more teeth, your hair longer and everywhere.
"Uh, (Y/n)?"
"Bones! I fit my clothes better!" You spotted the food in his hands and you let out an excited squeal. "Food! Finally!" You rushed forward and grabbed it from his hands and started shoveling it in your mouth. You were about 7 or 8 now.
"My God you're taller," he whispered under his breath. But then he rushed forward to catch a blob of applesauce that was about to drop from your chin. "Hey, uh, are any of the other crew...kids, any bigger like you?"
You looked at him, took another bite and shook your head. "Nope." You swallowed and froze, your face falling as your arm dropped from the bowl. "Am I broken?" You whispered.
The doctor's brows furrowed and he moved your hair out of your face. "Not one bit darling. But do you think you can help me with an experiment?"
Your eyes lit up and you nodded. But the sounds of a few of the crew crying drew your attention. "But I think they're hungry too. Can they have some?" You pointed to your large bowl of applesauce.
Bones smiled and nodded. "Go for it. Be careful, small spoonfuls. I'll get things ready."

It all took longer than he had planned. The feeding took a while and it took a bit of convincing to get you to change into a medical gown and lay on an observation bed to be scanned. In that time you had grown to be about 13. He knew because of your darn attitude.
Bones pointed to a patient bathroom, a hand holding a medical gown as he looked at you pointedly. "You need to go change. Please (Y/n). I need you to help me before the others wake up."
You pout as you look at him over your shoulder, your hair covering some of your face. "Fine."
Bones let out a breath and smiled, relief rushing through him. "There you go. It will only take a moment."
You snatch the gown away from him and stomp into the restroom. Bones didn't mind your attitude, he was just glad you were going to allow him to scan you. He checked up on the monitors to make sure everything was working when he heard an "oof" followed by the sound of a body dropping.
He rushed over to the bathroom door, knocking. "Are you alright in there?"
He heard you laugh. "Yup. I'm fine. I would just appreciate it if my body would warn me before it decided to grow."
Bones was puzzled but soon understood when you opened the door, revealing yourself but you weren't a young teen. You were a young adult, about 18. Bones stepped back and cleared this throat. You looked just like your regular aged self just...younger. Still strikingly beautiful.
You gave him a nervous smile. "Thank goodness you gave me an adult gown."
Bones just nodded, not trusting his voice. He pointed to the observation table as he turned to grab a few tools.
"Oh! Right." You hurried over to the bed, laying down. You glanced at the other crewmembers in various states of alertness as they played safely in little groups, still as babies. "Aww, they are all so cute."
"Yeah well, you'll think twice when five of them soil themselves at the same time," Bones scoffed as he glanced over at them.
You laid down and looked up at Bones, taking in his tired face and stressed eyes. You thought back to when you were "younger" just hours before and how he treated you. "You're doing good. For a doctor."
Bones looked down at you smirking. "I do have a daughter, you know."
You shrugged as the bed moved under the scanner, a red beam sweeping over your body. "Yeah well, I have a feeling you don't give her looks you have been giving me." The bed retracted and you sat up.
You expected some witty comeback but instead, you were faced with silence on his end. Only the sound of baby garble filled the room as you turned to look at Bones. He stood there looking between several screens, his brow puckered in concentration and confusion.
You moved to stand beside him, folding your arms as you looked with him, trying to make sense of what you saw. "So, how long to I have doc?"
Bones typed in a few things and then smiled. Really really wide. He turned to you and you took an involuntary step back, looking at him with skepticism. But before you could ask him what was going on he grabbed your shoulders and planted a kiss on your forhead.
"Come help me get a few of these boogers at a time into the bathroom. I have a way to turn them all back."
You blinked a couple of times but shook your head. "Alright. But how will you do that exactly?"
Bones picked up two little boys as you picked up a third. "Your blood is extremely active and has a component that's helping you reverse whatever happened to you and the crew. I can create a serum that we can feed them and then maybe they will turn back to normal but at a more rapid pace."
"Huh. Ok." You just shrugged, going along with his plan. Though your heart hadn't stopped beating since he kissed you so suddenly.
The two of you tirelessly cycled the babies in groups of three to give them the serum. Bones face grew relaxed with each crew member that came out of the restroom aged correctly. Several times he had to draw more of your blood to create more as babies threw the food or burped it up. You would smile as he would stay patient with the babies but would bark at the fixed crewmen to get back to their stations.
Finally, everyone was back to their normal age, including yourself. You were helping Bones clean up the med-bay turned nursery when you felt a sudden pain in your head and stomach. You doubled over in pain and let out a groan of discomfort. Bones rushed over and cradled you in his arms.
"Breath. Just breath it will pass," he cooed as your breathing turned back to normal.
You unfolded yourself and looked at him, stroking his cheek. "Thanks. Am I back to normal?"
Bones looked you over but shrugged. "Honestly you don't look much older."
You snickered and slapped him lightly.
He laughed too, stroking your hair back. "Yes, you are back to your age. I'm glad you are better now. Thank you for your help."
You nodded and smiled. You leaned in and rested your head against him as he continued to hold you. He was tired, as were you, so it was nice to finally take a moment to relax.
