*This Spock one is happier. I promise. And Amanda is alive again (Yeah!)*

Your two year old son was NOT looking forward to beaming to Vulcan. It's not that he didn't like his grandparents, it's just he didn't'' like being around other Vulcans. He was 25% Vulcan himself, but you and Spock were trying to raise him in both cultures, Vulcan and Human.

When you landed, Amanda was waiting for you.

"Hello," She said smiling. "Hello Jacen," she said bending down to eyes level with your son. Jacen just waved and sat down on the floor.

"Don't sit on the floor" Spock said picking him up. "The floor is covered with germs and bacteria that can make you sick and when you are sick you could possibly die."

Jacen's eyes widened. "Spock, don't scare the kid into being a germaphobic." Amanda said. "Please, come sit down."

You and Spock sat down on tan couch. Jacen went to his bag of toys and took out a toy car. Neither of you knew why, but he was obsessed with cars, trucks, semi's anything with wheels.

"How are you two?" Amanda asked. "My apologies for Sarek not being here. He had some important business to attend."

"We're fine. The Enterprise is extremely busy." You say.

"I'm going to start dinner soon. Any preference?" Amanda asked.

"How about a traditional Vulcan meal." you suggest.

"That sounds wonderful. I haven't eaten one of those in years." Spock agreed. Amanda nodded adn looked around. This was getting slightly awkward.

"So, is anything new since I've seen you two last?" Amanda asked.

"Well, Captain Kirk has gotten married and his wife is expecting. Ensign Chekov is engaged to Doctor McCoy's daughter." Spock said.

"McCoy wasn't;t extremely happy about that." you laugh.

"Jacen said his first words a few months ago." Spock added.

"Oh my! What was it?" Amanda asked excitedly.

"It was 'cheese.' That's his favorite food." You explain. She laughed and sat down next to Jacen.

"Can you say cheese?" she asks him.

"Cheese." Jacen said grinning widely.

Later that night, you were having dinner with your in laws. Spock was helping Jacen eat. Sarek was informing you all on the political issues of Vulcan. Amanda, being human, could tell you were getting bored.

"Y/N, why don't you tell us something new about yourself. We hardly ever see you." She says.You glance over at Spock and he nods.

"Well, I have some news. I'm expecting." You say. Amanda froze.

''Congratulations," Sarek said. Amanda got up and hugged you. You stood up and hugged her too.

"Wow! I'm going to have another grandchild!" She exclaimed before running to hug Spock. "You have to promise to visit as soon as you can after the baby is born."

"Of course, mother. That is the normal thing to do when there is a new child." Spock said.

When it was time for bed, Amanda volunteered to bath and put Jacen to bed. She said she missed getting to do things like that, even though she never truly did for Spock. You and Spock bid them goodnight and went to bed.

"I think today went well." Spock said.

''Of course it went well! I think you mother is very excited to have another grandchild." You say, brushing your teeth in the bathroom. Spock was standing next to you doing the same thing. When the two of you finished, you went to bed. The bed was relatively small, so the two of you had to squish together.

"Goodnight, Y/N. I love you."

"Love you too Spock. Goodnight."

Wow! 7 in one day! you poeple are spoiled. Jacen's first word was my actual first word. Weird right? Cheese. I guess I loved cheese. Any requests or ideas let me know!
