McCoy

You were on an away mission. Things were fuzzy, and you can't remember why. Your husband, Leonard, was exploring this cave.

His voice was a distant echo. Close, but not quite close enough. "Leonard!" You shouted, your voice echoing. It seemed distant too.

Leonard turned around and looked at you. "Y/N!" He shouted. He began running toward you. When he was a few feet away, a blast of light shot from behind you. It his Leonard in the chest and he twisted in pain. He dropped to the ground, blood dripping from the wound. You practically saw the life leave him.

"NO!!" You scream, sitting up in bed. You looked around the room, crying and panting. You couldn't breathe very well.

"Y/N! Y/N! Calm down! What happened?" Leonard asked, sitting up alert in bed.

You look over at him, sobbing. "Leonard!" You yell, hugging him. You sobbed into his shoulder. He held you tight, assuring you you'd be okay.

"What happened?" He asked when you calmed down.

"I had a dream. You died in front of me. It was so realistic and horrible." You say, starting to cry again. You hugged him again, he still held you tight.

"That's normal. You're pregnant. Pregnant women tend to have really strange and bad dreams during their first and second trimester." Leonard explained.

"Oh, yeah." You muttered, remembering.

"Usually they dream of frogs, rain, and loved ones dying." Leonard added. "Why couldn't you just gave dreamed of frogs?"

"There might have been a frog in the cave where you died." You mutter, smiling a little.

"That's good. Let's go back to sleep. You need rest." Leonard said, laying back down.

"Fine, but we are going to cuddle. Whether you like it or not." You say.

"Why would I like it?" Leonard asked, smiling. You laid down, your head on his chest, where the bullet would have been. You can here his heart beating, and it was comforting.
