"Hey Y/N!" Wesley Crusher yelled, running as fast as his legs would carry him. Papers and books were stuffed into a bag that slung on his shoulders, some of them loosely sticking out.

You stopped walking and turned around, smiling at Wesley. He had been your crush since the start of the academy. "Hello.." You say, cursing yourself for being a bit awkward around him.

"Hi. I was wondering something.." Wesley said, catching up to you. Your heart raced whenever he was near you, let alone talking to you.

"Yeah?" You asked, trying your best to inconspicuous. You awkwardly smiled and hugged the books tighter to your chest. For some reason, hugging a book made you feel better.

"Would you like to go out sometime? Or just hang out? Or study? Or be lab partners? Or... Uh.." Wesley asked in a burst. He awkwardly looked down and shuffled his feet a little, wishing he hadn't been so forward.

"I'd love to. Any of those." You say, smiling. He asked you out. Your crush, the hottest guy in school, asked you out. You.

"Great! I'll uh...see you later? Meet at the library tonight.. Say 7?" Wesley asked, hopeful.

"Seven it is. See you then." You say, smiling wider before walking off.
