Study dates are the best. You can sit with someone you love and study school work. Your boyfriend, Wesley Crusher, decided this was a perfect date for the two of you while you at StarFleet academy. Both of you of you loved studying and each other, so it was perfect. This study date was a bit different than most. The two of you decided that you would get a tent, go into the woods, set up the tent and a few blankets and pillows, then cuddle all night and study till dawn.

You walked to the tent from your dorm, a heavy bag of books on your back. You trudged through the woods, avoiding as any tree roots that could trip you, as possible. "Hey Y/N, wait up!" Wesley yelled from behind you in the trail. You turned around to see him running as fast as he good to catch up.

"Wes, you ready for our date?" You ask, kissing his cheek when he caught up to you. He nodded and paused to catch his breath.

"That's a long run." Wesley gasped, walking down the trail. He grabbed your hand and pulled you along a little, causing you to laugh.

"Did you run all the way from your dorm?" You ask, laughing even more. Wesley nodded and looked at you confused. "That's all the way across campus.."

"Yeah. And I ran to catch up with you." Wesley said, walking faster into the woods. "We're almost there anyway."

"I know. Let's go." You say, jogging to catch up with him. He had already walked a few yards ahead of you.

Everything was how you two had left it. The tent by a tree in the clearing, blankets and pillows littered in the floor of the tent. While it was still day and the Sun caused heat, the two of you left the screens open. But when the sun went down, the two of you turned on lamps and closed the tent up.

Laying on your stomachs, you crossed arms and legs and laid close to each other, looking at the same book. It wasn't warm that day to begin with, only 65 degrees Fahrenheit, but it was warm anyway. Now that the sun went down, it was getting close to 40 degrees.

"Warm enough?" Wesley asked, moving a little closer to you. You shook your head and reached for a blanket, which Wes just ended up grabbing. You snuggled closer to him and warmed up faster.

"Thank you Wes. I love this." You say, smiling. Your face was very close to his, you could feel his breath on your cheek.

"I love you." Wes said, leaning over to kiss you. You kissed him back, completely forgetting all the studying.

"I love you." You whisper when the two of you finish kissing. Wesley responded by pushing all the books into a corner, the pages scrambling together. He turned off all the lights and laid down, pulling you close to him.

You grabbed two blankets and pulled them up over both of you. You two spent the night cuddling and smiling, it was the best date you'd ever been on.
