"Ready Y/N?" Your boyfriend, Hikaru Sulu, asked you. Today, you were going to meet Hikaru's now ten year old daughter, Demora. She was competing in a fencing competition and you could tell Hikaru was extremely proud.

"Definitely. I can't wait to meet her." You say, a grin on your face. Hikaru took your hand and kisses the top of it.

"Let's go then beautiful." Hikaru said, holding your hand to the car. To be honest, you were nervous to meet his daughter. She wasn't your daughter, only his, which meant Hikaru was with another women and they had a kid. It didn't bother you a lot, you knew he no longer talked to that women unless it concerned Demora, but you were still nervous.

Fencing tournaments were very different. You'd never been to anything like it, but Hikaru seemed to be happier than you've ever seen him. The only other time you'd seen him that happy is when you blurted out that you loved him.

"Dad!" A girl yelled after the tournament, running over to Hikaru. She wrapped her arms around him and grinned ear to ear.

"Demora! Hey sweetie!" Hikaru said, hugging her back. You smiled at them, trying to get a look at Demora.

"Is this your girlfriend?" She asked, noticing you at last.

"I'm Y/N, it's nice to meet you." You say, smiling. Demora stood up on a bleacher and looked at your face closer.

"I'm Demora. You're the women dating my dad? I pictured you differently. If you two get married can I be in the wedding?!" She questioned, her eyes lighting up.

"First I'll have to ask her to marry me." Hikaru laughed, helping Demora off the bleachers.

"It's nice to meet you." You say, trying to take her mind off of you and Hikaru maybe getting married some day. That wasn't going to happen soon, you didn't want to quite yet and Hikaru hadn't asked.

"Nice to meet you too. Let's go get ice cream." Demora said, running out to the car, putting her fencing gear beside her.

"She's a bundle of energy, sorry about that." Hikaru said, laughing as you two began to walk out to the car.

"It's just fine, I found that cute." You say, kissing his cheek. Everyone went out to have ice cream and Demora and you bonded quite well.
