Sulu
Being a nurse in the sickbay had its perks. You got to see a lot of people on the ship and talk while you fixed bandages or cuts or observed physicals. It also had some downsides, meaning anyone who was a jerk on the ship would ask you out. You, intern, said no.
Hikaru Sulu walked into sickbay, clutching his arm. He checked in and sat down, waiting for a nurse to get him. You got your next chart and laughed when you saw cause of injury. Fencing. Wow. Usually people wear guards and things when they fence, so how did this happen.
"Hikaru Sulu?" You ask, walking out into the waiting room. A man around your age stood up, a hand gripped around his left arm, blood dribbling from between his fingers. You smiled and led him into a room, closing the door.
"So..." Hikaru mumbled, awkwardly staring at the ground. To be honest, he was embarrassed by the injury. He sat down on a bed and carefully moved his hand away from the gash.
"So you did this fencing?" You ask, scanning the injury. It wasn't too deep, but deep enough to warrant stitches.
"Yeah... Somehow." Hikaru murmured, wincing as you touched the gash. You got a needle and thread to begin stitches, which only took you about fifteen minutes to do. He moaned and whined the entire time.
"It's fine, don't whine." You laugh, finishing the bandages on the gash.
"I'm fine, just a question, would you like to go out with me?" Hikaru asked. This time, you agreed to a date. The first time in ages.
