Spock
**This was requested by CodeViolet !!
Like usual, it strayed a little but I hope you still love it and it's what you wanted!
Sorry it's short! And not very good...
I have one question though that's IMPORTNANT. Why do I keep losing followers? Am I doing something wrong? Like what's happening? If someone created a hate account or something and people believe it let me know. Idk that stuff happens to people. Please let me know why if anyone has an idea please. It's causing me to panic...
Anyway onto the chapter!**
Spock was a awkward man, especially with human dating. Jim Kirk had set him up in a date with you. Both you and Jim had been close friends for years, so when he said he have found a guy for you, you agreed.
Jim had noticed similarities. Both you and Spock loved science, stood out in a crowd for not necessarily good reasons (but not bad ones either), and both of you had trouble getting dates.
Spock stood out due to his Vulcan heritage where as you stood out more because of your hair color. You had some streaks of pink and blue, which wasn't normal for a StarFleet professor. You were just as good as your job as anyone, if not better, despite your appearance in your hair.
Currently, you sat at a table at a coffee shop, waiting for Spock to show up. Eventually he did, a clump of grass in his right hand. The grass was dark green, still alive.
"Y/N?" Spock asked, taking a seat across from you at the table. You nod and smile.
"You must be Spock. And yes I'm Y/N." You tell him, a wide smile on your face. He nodded and looked awkward. You remembered that Vulcans don't smile or display emotion, but that was just fine by you.
"I.. Got you.. Grass.." Spock mumbled, setting the grass down on the table and sliding it over to you. You gently picked it up, the grass staining the sleeves of your white sweater.
"Uh. Thanks you Spock." You say, flattered by the gesture but confused. "Why grass?"
"Kirk said I should bring flowers.. I couldn't find any so I figured a plant would qualify.." Spock answered, fidgeting in his seat. It was a strange sight, a Vulcan so uncomfortable on a date.
"Well thank you for the gesture. It was very sweet and nice. No one has ever brought me flower- plants before." You state, leaning across the kiss his cheek. Spock blushed green and continued to squirm.
The rest of the date went by just fine, no more awkward gifts or anything. Until the end. Before you left, you were saying goodbyes. Instead of a hug, Spock patted your head. You smiled and kissed his cheek before going home.
You put the grass in water and smiled again, unable to comprehend how happy you were.
