You had a big secret you were hiding from your husband, Leonard McCoy. You were pregnant, about two months along. Not too far along and definitely not noticeable. Your stomach barely looked any bigger than before, granted your uniform dresses were a pretty tight now.

You didn't know why you hadn't told him yet. You found out three weeks along, five weeks ago, yet can't work up the nerve to tell him.

Currently, you and Leonard sat at home watching movies and cuddling in bed with a bag of chips and a half melted tub of ice cream. Your favorite movie was the current one.

Leonard had noticed you'd gained weight and wanted to try and make you feel better. He sure knew how to properly comfort a woman. He didn't care of your size, just that you were healthy and happy.

"I wonder..." You mumble, licking the spoon you had that was covered with ice cream a few seconds ago.

"I wonder how you didn't notice the ice cream on your nose." Leonard laughed, taking a napkin and lightly dabbing the splotch of ice cream from your face. "All gone." He said, kissing your nose.

You blushed and smiled, snuggling close to him. Moving the food off the bed sheets, you moved even closer and took one of his arms, wrapping it around your waist. His hand rested on your slightly bigger and rounder stomach.

"I wonder if our little boy or girl will like ice cream." You whisper, noticing the change in his form. Slowly, Leonard ran his hand up and down your stomach, feeling that it was harder than usual and rounder.

"Oh my god..." He murmured, kissing your temple. You held onto his hand on your stomach.

"Happy Len?" You ask, kissing his cheek and grinning. You never thought the smile would leave Leonard's face as a single tear rolled down his cheek.

"We're having a baby.." He mumbled, purely amazed at you. "There's a person in you."

"You're very strange when you're in a happy shock. Not like you at all." You laugh to yourself after you spoke. Leonard kissed your lips before looking down at your stomach.

"You're having a baby... Our baby... A baby we created... Wow..." Leonard murmured, quickly realizing he was in a weird shock. Wiping his eyes, Leonard cleared his throat.

"You don't need to act all tough, you just found out your wife is pregnant. You have the right to be soft." You tell him, laughing a lot. It was funny to see him this way. Leonard smiles before chuckling, planting a soft kiss on your lips once again.

"I love you.."

"We love you. Both of us. The baby and I."

Leonard pulled you into a long, warm, soft kiss.
