"Jim..." You mutter, slowly moving away from the ledge. Your boyfriend Jim had taken you to a planet to do something fun, only fun apparently means dangerous.

"Come on Y/N, this will be fun!" Jim insisted, sitting on the edge so his legs hung off the side. That scared you, what if he fell somehow?

"Jim, I really don't know.." You mutter, wrapping your arms around your stomach. There was a major reason as to why you wouldn't go and it wasn't because you were scared. You were pregnant and doing something like this would just be stupid.

"Oh come on, nothing will happen!" Jim said, getting and and standing by you again. "Please?" He asked, his eyes wide and begging.

"Jim..." You say again, sighing and looking over to the side. Jim kissed your cheek and smiled a pleading smile.

"Why won't you? I promise you weren't get hurt. You never mentioned a fear of heights and you said a few months ago you thought this would be fun. I don't know wh-"

"Jim I'm pregnant and you're the father and I don't want to do this because I'm scared it will hurt the baby if I get hurt." You blurt out, closing your eyes and tilting your head down.

Silence. That was all. No sound. Not even breathing. You opened one eye and looked at Jim. He wasn't there. You looked around before looking down at your feet. He lay on the ground, eyes wide. You sat down at his side and took his hand.

"You're pregnant.....?" Jim muttered, squeezing your hand. You nod and kiss his hand, smiling. His eyes kept moving from gazing straight into yours to staring at your stomach.

"Surprise..." You mutter smiling. Jim sat up fast and pulled you into a hug, laughing.

"I'm going to be a father.... Someone will call me dad..." Jim said, tears forming in his eyes.

"Awe Jim..." You say, pulling him into a tighter hug. You never knew he would be this excited about being a father.
