**slight au. They are on Earth and Chekov and the reader are dating. The reader is Pike's daughter.**

"Pavel Chekov what are you doing?" You whisper to your boyfriend. He had opened your window somehow and sat on the window sill, waiting for you.

"I was waiting for my gorgeous girlfriend to discover my presence. I have been found." Pavel said, smirking as he climbed in and stood on the floor.

"What if my dad came in instead of me?" You ask, ushering him towards your closet as you heard your dad come down the hallway. Christopher Pike was a good man, but protective when it came to his only daughter.

"Then I'd be in trouble-" Pavel said. He was going to say more, but you motioned for him to be quiet as you shoved him in your closet. Just as you shut the closet door, Pike knocked on your door, entering a few seconds after.

"Were you talking to someone?" Pike asked, looking around your room. Your bag was sitting on your unmade bed, some clothes in a pile in the corner. Nothing out of the ordinary.

"Just myself Dad." You say, casually walking away from the closet.

"I heard a Russian type accent, were you talking to Chekov on the phone or video chat or something? It's fine if you were." Pike said, trying to get you to say what it was. 

"It was a video call." You say, lying. You felt a bit bad for doing that, but if you told him Pavel was here Pavel would be killed. Immediately and without hesitation.

"Good. I'll see you in the morning, I'm going to bed. Night." Pike said, kissing your forehead before leaving the room.

"Night dad." You mutter, making sure the lights were off and there wasn't any sound before you got Pavel.

"That wasn't so bad." He said, a wide grin on his face. You just shook your head and laughed, pulling him in for a kiss. "I wanted to see if you wanted to go on a date tonight?"

"Of course." You say, kissing him again. Pavel smirked and walked over to your window, climbing out. You followed, careful of the bushes and stuff. Both of you went out to a restaurant for dinner. 

A few hours later, you climbed through your window into your now dark room. You left the light one when you left didn't you? Suddenly, the light turned on and your dad stood in the doorway. Pavel climbed in after you, immediately regretting it.

"So, where were you two?" Pike questioned, motioning you to sit on the bed. He walked over to Pavel and started patting him down.

"Dad, what are you doing?" You ask, sighing as you watched Pavel's eyes grow with fear.

"Checking for condoms for two reasons. One, if he has them at least there would be protection. Two, if he has them, he shouldn't. Three, if he didn't, there wouldn't be any protection and I don't want my daughter who's still a kid to have a kid." Pike explained, not finding what he was looking for.

"Sir, I don't have one because I don't have those intentions." Pavel explained, immediately taking the 'I'm so sorry I didn't mean to but wait' stance.

"He's right dad. We don't intend to do that." You say, taking the same stance.

"No one ever really intends to at your age but when you do you get pregnant because you didn't use protection." Pike said, still trying to defend his case. "You, out." He said, motioning to Pavel. Pavel nodded and climbed out the window before running down the street.

"Dad, I won't get pregnant." You say, looking him in the eyes. He shook his head and sighed.

"I trust you more than him. You didn't have to sneak out. It you told me 'I'm going to dinner with Pavel be back in a couple hours' I would've let you go." He said, sighing as he looked at the floor. Things like this always made him a bit off.

"Thank you and I will remember that." You say, pulling him into a hug. "I'm sorry."

"I accept your apology." Pike said, kissing the top of your head. "You're my only daughter so I care for you."

"I know. Thank you. Is Pavel still okay to be my boyfriend?" You ask, hopeful of the answer. As you expected, he sad yes and you were still allowed to date Pavel.
