"He can not know about his sister. I'll say she died in an acedent. " Kirks mother said to herself. She looked back up at the man standing in front I her. The man who would take away her baby girl. It was hard enough for her to take care of Kirk so his twin sister, (y/n), had to go.

26 years later......

You striated your dress one last time before heading out to go to work. You had just gotten assigned to the USS Enterprise. Your dad had finally agreed after so many years of begging. You smiled at yourself in the mirror. The red dress you were wearing fit you perfect.

You made your way out the door and down to engineering. Your father had not wanted you to join Star Fleet but you had always felt drawn to it for some reason. You some how thought working here would make this longing feeling inside you go away but you still felt empty.

As you entered engineering you walked up to Mr. Scott, your boss.

"Hello there lass. It's great to have you working with us here on the Enterprise." he said shaking your hand.

"Thank you Mr. Scott it's great to be here." you said back smiling.

"Oh please call me Scotty." He said pointing at himself.

"Ok Scotty. You can call me whatever you want. I respond to just about anything." You said. He laughed a little.

He handed you a list of things that needed to be done around the ship and you got straight to work. You had never been on a ship like this before. You made your way across one of the platforms in the air when the ship jolted. You went flying off.

The world seamed to work in slow motion as you descended towards the ground. You saw a few people running over on the platform and looking down at you. One of those people was Scotty. You could see him calling your name. Then everything went black.

Scotty ran down some stairs to where you were laying. The first thing he did was check for a pulse the he called the medbay. You were breathing but it was very shallow and getting worse.

"Scotty to medbay! We need you guys down here now!" Scotty shouted into his communicator.

"Bones here. We will be right down. Bones out."

It couldn't have taken the med team any longer to get down there. Scotty was afraid he might loose you.

When they finally got you to the medbay nurses and Bones were running like crazy trying to stabilize you. When they finally got you stabilized Bones and Scotty went to look for your records so they could file a report.

"Where is her birth certificate?" McCoy asked Scotty.

"Like I would know! She's only been here a day. I don't even know her name!" He shouted back.

"Dammit man no need to get so uptight!" Bones shouted as he kept searching for your records.

"I can't find them but her DNA should be in the system. I just need to look her up." Bones mumbled to himself walking over to you to get a vial of blood.

After he got the blood he slipped the vial into one of the slots connected to the compute and it started searching. Suddenly your records popped up.

Bones looked at the record shocked. Jim said his sister was dead. He quickly grabbed his communicator an called Kirk.

Kirk strutted into the medbay and then looked over at you. "Who is that?" He said smiling and pointing at you. "That is (Y/N), your sister." Bones said.

"My what?!" Kirk asked looking at him as if he had three heads.

"Kirk I ran a DNA scan. She is your twin sister. She was adopted soon after birth because your mother couldn't handle both of you." McCoy said.

"Does she know?" Kirk asked

"No she thinks she is the only daughter of her father. Who of corse is not her father at all." Bones said.

Kirk rushed out of the medbay and up to his quarters to call his mother.

"Mother." Kirk said when her face popped up on the screen. "I need to ask you somthing."

She smiled. "Ask away."

"Is my sister dead?" He asked

Her smiled faded. " Yes James. But you know that why are you asking?"

"Because she is laying down in the medbay as we speek. My twin sister (y/n) is laying down in the medbay as we speak!!" Kirk shouted

Kirks mother started to cry. " I couldn't take care of both of you. I thought it was for the best!" She sobbed. Kirk turned off his PADD and ended the conversation. It was time to go meet his sister.

You woke up to find a man sitting next to you holding you hand. You normally would jerk away but this felt right. You felt complete. Why was that? He must had felt you move because he looked up at you.

"(Y/N). " He breathed. Tears were streaming down his face. You felt like you too would cry. You felt like you were looking into a mirror. He had the same blue eyes as you along as your dirty blond hair.

You looked over and saw Dr. McCoy walking towards you. "(Y/N), I would like you to meet your brother. James Kirk the captain of this ship." For some reason you believed him. "I know." you said. "Somehow I've always known. It just feels right. " Kirk smiled. For once in your life you felt complete because that emptiness inside you could only be filled by him. James Kirk your brother.
