I got a few requests to continue this so here it is...if you didn't want a part two then you can skip this. I'm gonna do something a little special...I'm gonna put the entire last chapter in italics so that if y'all need a recap you can have it if not...as I said skip it...

Kirk POV

Today 18 years ago was the happiest day of my life. It was the day my baby girl was born, and now she's 18. I tried to be a good father but being gone all the time made it hard, but it all worked out in the end, and my baby girl joined Starfleet.

After spending part of her childhood on a starship she had fallen in love, zooming around our shared quarters like a little rocket. When she finally joined school she excelled in science and math and became and engineer. Her name was (Y/N).

Those were some of the happiest days of my life, an now I was on my way down the halls of the ship to rec room 3 for her birthday party. (Y/N) had become one of Scotty's best engineers and so of course Scotty was crying like a baby because she was all grown up now, and I gotta say I too was tearing up a bit. She was one of the youngest crew members on board, just like Chekov she had graduated early, not that me being Captain of the Enterprise had anything to do with it.....

My beautiful wife Laura was crying over in the corner with Scotty too. This all was very hard for her, but I have to say the entire ship was crying a bit. (Y/N) had been like the crews kid, she loved everyone and everyone loved her.
The party would start at 5:00 exactly and now it was 5 till.

"Places everyone!" Laura shouted. "The birthday girl will be here soon!"

Soon everyone was in there place and the clock hit 5:00. The doors to the rec room slid open. (Y/N) walked in wearing a long pink evening gown (*as seen above*) that flowed to her feet and fit her perfectly. Her mother and her had picked it out.

"Oh (Y/N)! You look so beautiful!" Shouted Laura running towards her.

"Thanks Mom!" She said hugging her mother and waving at everyone else.

It was time to get this party started!

(Y/N) POV

You walked into the rec room your hands sweating like crazy. You look around nervously biting your lip, and then turned your attention back to the door. It was nearly 5:00. You wiped your hands on your dress once more and the doors slid open.

You could feel the eyes on you as you entered the room.

"Oh (Y/N)! You look so beautiful!" Your mother shouted running towards you.

"Thanks mom..." you mumbled hugging her and waving at everyone else. You saw your dad over in the corner smiling but his eyes looked sad. You and your dad had always been so close, you still sit on his lap when he's in the chair.

You were his only child (A/N I know that he actually has a son David Marcus but just go with it....) and you hoped to make him proud, maybe be the captain of your own starship someday.

Jim walked over. "Hey sweetie, you look great!" He said smiling at you.

"Thanks dad." you said walking into his arms for a hug. Spock walked in and made his way towards you.

"Hello (Y/N), the happiest of birthday wishes go to you." He said Uhura hooked on his arm. "That dress is great." she said.

"Thanks." you said smiling. She nodded and look the dress up and down.

This was gonna be a long party....

Sulu POV

'I'm missing her party!' I thought to myself. Ugh if only this damn ship didn't need a Captain in the chair.

(Y/N) was like the crews child. Everyone loved her and she loved everyone. There was no doubt that everyone would be sad the day she was assigned to a different star ship.

"Captain I'm picking up a signal I don't recognize." Said one of the officers who had taken Uhura's seat.

As I was about to turn and face her another officer shouted. "Captain, were being hailed!" I looked to the front.

The face before me sent me back nearly 20 years...Kahn. But how could this be? We left him in his cryotube. (A/N I know he was actually sent to a new planet to colonize but just stay with it)

We had all aged so much since we last saw Kahn it was hard to see the he still looked the same.

"What do you want Kahn? How did you get out of your cryotube?" I asked my voice shaky.

"I have my ways." He said his voice cold. "It's good to see the Enterprise still has the same old crew for me to destroy."

"Why are you doing this Kahn? We saved your crew?" I asked

"Oh come now. Don't be such a poor sport." he said smiling cruelly at me. "I would just destroy your ship now but that'd be no fun. Plus I want the Enterprise for myself."

Before I could say something back he was gone. What was all that? Was Kahn going to board the Enterprise? I must warn Kirk.

(Y/N) POV

You were in the middle of a conversation with Chekov and Bones when Sulu burst in and ran over to your father. What was going on? You looked over to Bones and Chekov and they just shrugged. Wasn't Sulu supposed to be Captaining this shift?Why did he need your father?

You watched a Sulu delivered his message. By the time he was done your father and Spock had run out of the room, Scotty on there heals and your mother was crying in the corner. What?

"Mom! Mom! What's going on?!" You asked running over to her.

"Oh (Y/N)!" She cried "I never thought it would happen again!"

"You never though what would happen again?" You asked trying to be patient. All your mother did was cry harder. You clearly weren't getting anything out of her so you moved on.

"Bones! Chekov! What's going on?" You shouted their direction. Bones came running over. "Now darlin', you've got to listen to what I'm about to say. Have you ever heard your father or mother mention the name Kahn?" He said

"Yeah," you said looking into his eyes. "He was some dude who like attacked the ship right?" Bones nodded. "But that was years ago..." You said confused

"He somehow got out of his cryotube we don't know how, but he's here now and he wants the Enterprise." he said

You felt your insides do a flip. The man that you father feared and the man that made your mother cry just by the sound of his name, was now here to take away the only life you had ever known.

No one had gone to sleep that night every one was on red alert. All the redshirts were on constant patrol and your father had sent you to your quarters with two of them.

"You should try and get some sleep (y/N)" said one of them

"Right like I can sleep right now. Worst birthday ever." You said huffing

"Well if you don't need us then we'll get back to our post." said the other one.

"Sounds good." you said annoyed.

The two of them got up and left. You pulled out your PADD to see if there was any recent announcements. Nothing.

You gathered all your things together and made your way to the bridge to see your father. Half way to the bridge you changed your mind. If your father found out you left your quarters with out a red shirt for protection he'd kill himself.

"Damn. " You muttered and turned around to go to your quarters. Your mother was in the medbay for having a panic attack. You just didn't want to be alone.

The lights were slightly flickering in the hall way you passed in the way back to your quarters. You didn't really want to go back to your quarters and you were an engineer so why not stop and fix the light.

You turned around and entered the hallway and found the flickering light.

"Let's see what we have here." you whispered

"Yes let's see." Said a voice behind you. You turned around and starred at the voice.

"Who are you?" You asked.

"Me? I'm one of the new engineers. Um I was told there was a broken light on this deck." the voice said

"Then step out of the light ensign and report, you know we're on red alert." You responded.

A man stepped out of the darkness. He was in his 30's? It was hard to tell his cheek bones were very high. He had ice blue eyes and dark hair that was slightly tossed about. You had to say he was cute. You had always had a thing for older men.

"I have been sent on orders to fix a flickering light on deck 12 ma'am." He reported.

"Ummm ok I was just getting there myself. I have not yet found the problem. It's all yours ensign." You said

He walked over to the light and after moving a few things around the light had stopped flickering.

"Wow job well done ensign. I'm sorry but I don't believe I got your name." you said

"Oh right. Harrison, John Harrison." he said smiling

"Oh ok I'm Lt. K-"

"Kirk?" he finished for you and you nodded. "I thought so. I mean you are the Captains daughter."

"Yup I am." you said popping the 'p'

"Well I must say....it was nice to meet you." he said smiling at you but his eyes looked cold.

"And you as well ensign. You did quite some handy work there with the flickering light." you said

"You really think so?" He said tilting his head to the side.

"Yes, I really do. Scotty must be proud to have you."

"Oh not really. Nobody seams to think I'm very smart. The only people who ever thought I was smart was my family and they left."

"They left you?" You asked hurt in your voice.

"I'm sorry let me clarify. The all died." He said

You mouth formed a perfect O. "I-a-well that was put bluntly...." You said but it was barely a whisper.

"Well there is no other way to put it." he said his voice cool.

"I'm really am sorry." you said. "Who ever killed them should die for it."

He smiled. "I was thinking the same thing, but I always thought it would be better to destroy the ones they love the most. Just like they did to me."

"I don't know what I'd do if someone killed my family. I would be devastated. I-I can't even imagine a day with out my father." You sputtered out.

John turned around and faced the other hall. "You may have to..."he whispered under his breath.

"What was that?" You asked

"Oh nothing" he said turning back around to face you.

He made his way past you on his way back to his quarters probably.

"Ensign?!" You called after him.

"Yes?" He said not even turning around

"Um oh nothing...just thanks for fixing the light." you said

"Anytime..." he muttered but you barley made it out.

Before you could say another word he was gone down the dark hall. Maybe you would see him again sometime.

Part Two

You walked the rest of the way to your quarters quietly thinking about everything that had happened to you over the last couple of minuets. You had meet like literally one of the sexiest men you've ever seen at the same time the ship was under attack from one of the most dangerous men alive.

Once you reached your quarters you typed in your code and headed inside.
The first thing you did was make your way to the fridge for a tub of ice cream and then you went to your living room to think about John.

He was literally perfect; perfect hair, face, eyes...and those cheek bones. You wanted to leave your quarters and go into the halls to break lights just so he'd come along.

Suddenly the doors to your quarters burst open, and before you stood John Harrison. 

"Ensign Harrison?" You said questionably.

"(Y/N). I need your help." He said his voice wasn't panicked but it did have and edge to it. You were only slightly taken aback by the fact that he used your first name and not your last name and rank; I mean after all you were his commanding officer.

"Um what?" You asked raising your eyebrow.

"Please (y/n). You have two choices; stay here and never see me again or come with me and see who I really am."  He said holding out his hand. What?! You asked yourself. You knew that is you thought to hard about this then you might miss the chance so you just stopped thinking and grabbed his hand.

He instantly pulled you close to him and you felt the warmth of his body.  Ohhhh he was so hot! It was as if the rest of the world didn't matter; only you and him. He had one arm around your waist and the other at his side holding a phaser as he rushed you through the halls.

Every this seamed a blur until finally your mind cleared. Why were you running? Why was John holding a phaser? What did he do? John....John Harrison......Kahn!!!!!!

You stopped running suddenly causing him to look back at you. "Kahn..." You said barely a whisper.

At first he raised his eyebrow just like Mr. Spock would do; then it was as if his face transformed. A whole new person.

"Yes?" He answered his voice calm and collected. At first you didn't move, it was as if your mind was still processing the information. Then it hit you; hit you like a brick. You started to back away, more afraid then you had been in your entire life.

"You-you-you're a murderer.You... could have killed me...but you didn't. Why?" You asked still backing away but slower now.

He started to walk towards you and reached his hand out and put it in your shoulder. "(Y/N), listen I see something in you that I just don't see in others. You understand. That may sound unbelievable because I've only known you a short time but...I feel  something for you...something strong."

Your mind was telling you to run, to hide, but your heart was telling you something different. Telling you to stay to give Kahn your heart and hope that you could have his. Maybe even fix his broken heart.

"Come with me (Y/N)." He said his blue eyes piercing your soul.

You couldn't move. You had two choices. Go with Kahn and start a life with him or turn back now and never see him again. What would you decide?

Kirks POV

The ship was in full red alert and everyone was freaking out. I felt worse, though, for my daughter. Today was her birthday and it had been ruined by the most terrible man on the planet. I thought I could protect her. The only reason I never wanted kids was because  I was afraid the world was to dangerous but I though I had fixed that in some way.

I signaled Sulu telling him that I was going to check on (y/n) and he nodded. I made my way down the halls keeping my calm face on so nobody would start to panic. As captain it was my soul responsibility to keep everyone safe, and that included keeping calm so people wouldn't have a panic attack.

I finally made it to (y/n)'s room and punched in the captains code. When the doors slid open I walked inside and looked around for (y/n). After calling out her name for about 5 minutes and searching the place top to bottom I gave up.

"Damn it!" I shouted. Where were those redshirts I assigned to her? She could be in real trouble. If Kahn ever found out I had a daughter! Imagine what he'd do!

I ran out of the room to find Bones in the hallway. "McCoy! With me me now!" I shouted using my captains  voice.

"What's goin on Kirk?!" He asked hot on my heals.

"He's got her! I just know it! We have to find her Bones he's gonna kill her!" I shouted to him.

"Kahn?! He's got (Y/N)?! Are you sure?!" He asked quickly catching up to me.

"Yes..." I said barely more then a whisper not wanting to believe that it was true.

I scrambled my head trying to think of where he would take her. The bridge? No to crowed. The rec rooms? No. Engineering? Maybe. It was a good enough place to hide.

I turned and made my way for engineering. Bones was right beside me watching my every move. It wasn't long before we reached the main engineering deck.

I frantically searched the nearly area for any sign of (Y/N) but I didn't see her anywhere. I wanted so badly to call her name, but if she was here I didn't want Kahn to know our location.

Finally I saw a flash of red. (Y/N)'s uniform. I signaled to Bones and we made our way in that direction. I had never been so scared in my entire life. Not for myself but for my daughter. I could only imagine the worst.

Finally we started approaching where we had seen (Y/N)'s red uniform. I signaled to Bones that I would count to three and he nodded his head.

One...
Two...
Three...

Bones and I jumped around the corner! And before me was none other than (Y/N)'s uniform...but no (Y/N).

Your POV

What is going on? One minute your running around trying to hide from you father next Kahn is telling you to take off your clothes...like wtf?

You had taken off your dress and were now running around wearing Kahns coat.  It was so warm and big. And honestly the smell of him was just soothing. So many thoughts kept running threw your head but you were trying to push them out.

What would your parents say? How would all this play out? Would you stay with Kahn for the rest of your life, I mean you just met him...

You once again stopped mid running and looked at Kahn. And he looked back at you with a cool glance. "I don't know..." You whispered

He leaned in towards you and put his mouth to your ear. "You don't have to..." He whispered back. You felt a tear slip down your cheek. You knew that you were defining everything that your parents had ever wanted for you but you didn't care you loved Kahn.

5 years later...

You woke up to the sound of cries coming from down your hall. You slowly moved out from under the sheets; your husbands arm slipped off your waist. You turned towards the hallway to make your way to the nursery.

You had been married to the love of your life for 4 years now, and six months ago you had given birth to your first child. It was a baby girl, and her name was Laura after your mother. You hadn't seen either of your parents since you ran away with Kahn.

You knew they were both alive due to watching the news and searching. For the first year of running away with Kahn your parents searched and searched but finally you were pronounced dead after being 'kidnapped' by Kahn. There were days when you wanted to go back to them but you never could leave Kahn.

Finally you got settled down on a mostly barren planet and kept a low profile around the natives who had no connection with the outside world.   Kahn had built you a home and you had each other for companionship; until Laura was born.

You finally reached the nursery and picked Laura up in your arms. You started to sing softly to her so she would fall asleep again. Just as you were putting her in the crib you felt a hand on your back. You laid Laura down and turned around; before you stood Kahn.

"She's gone back to sleep now it's alright." You said looking up at him.

"Good. I had just come to check on you." He said

He grabbed your hand you you both walked quietly back towards your bedroom, after all it was like 3 in the morning.
