That dirty no good joke of a doctor had done it! He'd pulled the last straw! You had told him, begged him, to stop drinking and flirting with other women; but did he? No! Of course not! It's not like you had been married for seven years or anything!

You had gone to sleep alone thinking that he was working late or so thing along those lines but then you were woken up two hours later to find him slobbering drunk mumbling his ex wife's name.

First thing you did was dump the near by vase water on his head and the roses that he had gotten you fell to the floor. You were in tears. You couldn't believe that he'd do something like this.

You had stormed off and spent the night in a friends quarters until you could work up the courage to talk to Leo again. It had been just a little over a week now and you hadn't seen much of your husband at all.

You were standing next to your friend Hannah as she finished her shift on the bridge when she turned to look at you.

"We should do something tonight." She stated casually.

"I don't know Hannah, I don't really feel up to it." You said hoping she wouldn't suggest it more then once.

"I'm sorry," she said. " I meant to say 'We are gonna do something tonight.'"

"Ugh! Why?!" You asked knowing that she probably wanted to go to party or something.

"Because you've done nothing but go to work then to my quarters because you won't make up with your dumb ass husband sooo let's at least do something." She said giving you the death stare.

"Fine!" You'd stated crossing your arms and putting on your pouty face.

"Good, let's go then." She said grabbing your arm and waving good bye to the Captian.

Sooooo, now you were wearing a super tight and short dress, well more like a shirt, and your hair had been twisted up and your make up was done. Hannah was taking you to the rec room where they were gonna have a karaoke night. She knew how much you liked to sing.

As you enter the room you were relieved to not see Leo anywhere. It was mostly people you knew and some you didn't. Hannah went over and signed you up at the karaoke table.

The first half hour passed by pretty quickly and before you knew it you were being called up to sing.

"Ok y'all this ones a duet. (Y/N) and um let's see... Dr. McCoy." The DJ sang out. You were mortified! But you couldn't bail out now! You wouldn't be the weak one!

You both walked up to the stage that was set up and as the music began to play you grabbed your microphone. When you looked up at the lyrics you realized that Leo sang first so you backed down and waited.

By the time the song finished you were both singing as you were in tears. Just listening to Leo sing those words made you happy. You knew he meant every word he sang and that he had arranged this himself.

He looked up at you his eyes glistening from the tears. He was about to drop his head again when you ran into his arms. At first he was surprised but soon his arms grew tight around you.

"I love you." He said into your hair.

"I love you too." You said. Soon these wounds would heal and things were defiantly looking up.
