You were sitting at a bar with two friends, Fiona and Gigi. You just passed your nursing exam and now assigned to work on The Enterprise as head nurse. You was excited to be doing something with your life. Saving people's lives was something that run in your family. Your mom and dad worked on another ship as MCO doctor and head nurse. You wanted to follow in their footsteps and after three years, you finished early and was to work on the famous U.S.S Enterprise in a day or two. Your friends decided to celebrate your victory of all these late nights of studying.

"(Y/N), do you know who your boss is?" asked Fiona, sipping on some fruity drink.

Your boss was named Leonard McCoy, but Admiral Pike told you he likes to be called Bones. You were told it was a nickname by Captain Kirk the first day they were on The Enterprise and it just struck to him.

"Leonard McCoy, but I don't know why Admiral Pike said to call him Bones for," you explained, drinking your Scotch.

"Maybe it's because he's in the medical field?" asked Gigi, throwing back her vodka shots.

"I don't think so," you said, drinking another glass of Scotch.

"Does it really matter about anything on what you call him?" asked Fiona," I hear he's fine as hell."

You laughed with your friends at her comment.

"You think every guy is fine as hell," you said, smiling.

"Well, not all of us had our noses in books all day for three years," Fiona explained," Some of us had a life outside the classroom."

You all laughed and drink a few more glasses of alcohol. You was going to call it a night when two guys approached you three.

"Excuse us ladies, but can we buy your three new drinks," said a dirty blond man and a dark haired man behind him.

You know the dirty blond man as Captain James T. Kirk of The Enterprise, but you don't know who the hot guy behind him was. He was very handsome. You don't really date much while you was studying to become a nurse. But you wouldn't mind dating this guy. You throw back your Scotch and smiled at the man.

"Yeah, that would be lovely of you," said Fiona, smiling at Kirk.

"You hear that Bones," said Kirk," I told you that they would mind us buying them drinks."

You choked on your drink when you learned that the guy you thought was hot and wouldn't mind going out with was your new boss.

"Are you okay?" asked Bones.

"Yeah, I am fine," you told him, blushing.

"She just shocked from the fact that you're her new boss," said Fiona.

"Really?" asked Bones.

"Yeah, I'll be your new head nurse in a couple of days," you explained.

"Ladies, why didn't we let these two talk while we dance," said Kirk.

Your friends left to dance with Kirk. Bones sat down next to you and order another round for you two. You looked at Bones and blushed. You can't believe you had the hots for your boss. You still thought he was very handsome man, but you don't think it would work out if you two were working together.

"So, why do people call you Bones for?" you asked.

"Because my ex wife divorced me and left me with just my bones," Bones explained," Jim was the one who mainly called me that and I guess it just struck with me."

"Why do you and your ex divorce for?" you asked, sipping your Scotch.

"Because she thought I was doing everything wrong, I don't spend enough with her, and she thought it was stupid of me to go the Starfleet," Bones explained," So, she filed for divorce and she got everything that I was mine besides my bones."

You thought his ex stupid for doing what she did. All you saw a sweet, kind, and the most handsomest guy you ever saw sitting in front of you.

"Well, I think it was her loss for letting go the most generous, sweet, kind and handsomest guy I have ever meet," you explained, feeling a little drunk.

Your eyes grow big when you realized what you just said to him. You cursed at your drunk state and letting your mouth say whatever.

Great, now he'll think I have a crush on him or something.

You know you like him a lot.

Yeah but I don't want him to know that right away.

You got to have a little fun.

I have fun.

Reading a medical books on a Friday night isn't fun at all.

Well, did to me.

Then why are you here then.

Because Fiona said she would buy whatever drink I wanted all night.

Look I know you kind of afraid of going down the relationship road with another guy, but this actually seems like a good guy.

We'll see.

"Why thank you, darling," Bones said," You're the first girl to say that to me."

That southern accent when he calls you darling.

I'm sure he calls every girl darling.

I doubt it.

"Well, I don't know why more girls don't say it, it's the true, isn't it?" you asked.

Shut up. You're just making it wrong.

"No, I've been too busy with my studies and being on The Enterprise keeps you too busy to have a relationship," Bones explained," Jim just wanted me to have one last night of fun before going into space."

"My friends thought so too," you told him," They thought it was better here than having my nose in a medical book all night."

"Well, I'm glad I met you tonight," Bones said.

"Me too, Bones," you replied, grinning.

See you're coming around to liking him as more than friends.

Maybe but I'm still going to be cautious about him.

Of course. Just give him a chance before you shut down thoughts of being with him.

You was looking at him again and blushed when he caught you staring.

"What?" Bones asked," Do I have something on my face or something?"

"No, just admiring a pretty face," you said, drunkenly.

Bones grinned at you as you covered your mouth. You need to get out of here and away from this man while you was drunk.

"I need to go," you told him.

"Well, I can walk you back to your room," Bones asked.

"I think I can make it back without your help," you said, standing up.

Standing up was a bad idea for a newly drunk person. You fall forward as you felt Bones' arms around you.

"Let go, I got this, dammnit," you said, trying to pull Bones off of you.

"Dammnit women, let me help," Bones replies, turning you around to face him.

You started to feel dizzy and the room was spinning. You saw black spots around your eyes. You know from your nursing training that you was about to black out.

"Why is the room spinning?" you asked," I think I'm going to faint."

"Now?" Bones asked.

You don't feel so good and you feel yourself faint into Bones' arms.

You hear Bones say," Dammnit women."

The next day

You wake up and saw you was in your room. You felt like a train hit you last night. You knew you shouldn't have drank so much last night. Your head is hurting so badly and your stomach hates you right now. You got up and noticed you was still the dress you wear last night. You was glad it was Saturday and don't have to do anything since you packed for The Enterprise yesterday. You took a hot shower. You put on some black PJ tank top and short shorts. You dried and brushed out your hair.

You looked better as you looked in your bathroom mirror. All you wanted was pain relievers and coffee. You walked into your kitchen and find the meds. You swallowed two and turned on your coffee maker. It wasn't working and you rubbed your head. You really don't need this right now. You put your head down on the counter. You was jumped up when your door up and Bones walked in with coffee and a bag of food. You blushed as you looked at what you was wearing.

"I got us some coffees after your machine broke and I also got breakfast, too," Bones told you," I hope you like eggs and biscuits."

You took the coffee and sipped it. You don't remember much of what happened last night. It was all a blank to you. You remembered having drinks with your friends and meeting Bones, getting drunk. Bones taking you home. Waking and telling him that you wanted him to stay, but don't think he would.

"Um, what are you doing here, Bones?" you asked, rubbing your temples.

"Well, after you fainted in my arms, your friends told where you lived and I just stayed and watched you," explains Bones.

"Why would you stay?" you asked," You could have left when you get me to bed?"

"I was going to but you wake up and asked me to hold you," Bones answered.

"You don't have," you said.

You don't know how you felt being in Bones' arms last night. The last time you was in a man's arms, he dumped you because you don't have time to spend with him because of your exams and classes to so much to you. So to hear that you asked Bones to hold you, made you unsure where your relationship with Bones stand.

"You also told me you thought that I was cute and handsome and wanted to be with me," Bones confessed," That my ex wife was stupid to let me go."

"Oh god, please tell me that don't happen," you asked.

"You also tried to kiss me but you ended up getting sick before you could," Bones explained.

"Why are you telling me this?" you asked, standing in front of Bones.

Bones walked to you but you walked backwards until your back hit the wall. Bones got super close to you. He touched your cheek and said," Because you're a pretty girl who I want to go out with and be my girlfriend."

"But you're my boss," you replied.

"I don't care about that," Bones explained," I like you and I want to be with you."

"Are you sure?" you asked.

Bones kissed you. It was unlike any of the kisses you had in the past. There was sparks that you have never felt before. You kissed him back after getting over the shock of it.

The kiss started to get heated as Bones' hands made their way up your shirt. You liked Bones' hands all over you. It has been a long time since you were this close to a man. Three years with a man's touch was too long and you don't mind that Bones' hands were on your breasts. You moaned into the kiss and Bones smiled in the kiss. You two would have continued making out and touching each other when your door opened and Fiona walked in.

You and Bones pulled away from each other. You blushed when you saw Fiona.

"Am I interrupting something?" Fiona asked, setting down a box.

"Kind of," you said, blushing like a tomato," What are you doing here?"

"Well, I was coming over because I knew that you would be hangover and I brought some things to help with that and movies," Fiona explained," But I should have known that you would have been fine with a doctor by your side."

"Yeah I'm fine," you explained.

"Well, then I'm going to leave," said Fiona.

"You don't have to," you replied.

"No, just hang out with Bones and feel better," Fiona said, hugging you.

"Are you sure?" you whispered to her as you two hugged.

"Yeah, besides, someone has to take care of a hangover Kirk," Fiona said.

"You're with Kirk now?" you asked.

"Yup," Fiona answered, as she skipped out of your room.

You laughed at your friend as Bones hugged you from behind. You liked being in Bones' arms, you feel safe in them. You sighed and enjoyed being hold by Bones.

"So, what do you want to do now?" Bones asked.

You looked into the box Fiona left behind. You saw it had pain killers, a bunch of sodas, chips, cookies, chocolate bars, a box of popcorn, and a lot of your favorite romantic and comedy movies.

"How about we have a movie marathon today if you're not doing anything today?" you asked.

"I have nothing to do today," Bones said," I'm on call if anyone needs me, so I could be here to take care of you."

You smiled at him and hugged him.

"I'm glad that I met you, Bones," you said, as you out in one of the movies and Bones made the popcorn.

"Me too, (Y/N/N)," Bones replied.

You and Bones enjoyed watching movies all day and making out during some of them. You two had dinner and talk about your relationship and he knew about you worried about being in a new relationship after what happened with the last guy did. He said that he would do everything he could to make you happy everyday. You asked him to promise to not break your heart and he agreed. You was shy about being half naked in front of him, but he let you know that you was beautiful. Guys never really told you that you was beautiful or pretty before.

You told him that you would make sure he knew everyday that he was doing things right in your relationship and that he was cared for. You was happy being with Bones. It was dark and he was holding you. You can't think of a better man to be with than Bones. He was sweet to you all day. You feel asleep with your head on his chest. You smiled when you heard Bones say that he thinks he has fall hard for you and that he might even be in love with you.

You dreamed of your future with Bones and what the next five years on The Enterprise would be like with Bones by your side. Bones already told you he wanted to share a room with you. He told you over dinner that he would talk to Kirk tomorrow about the room. You can't wait to share your world with Bones. You just throw cautious to the wind after tonight about being with Bones. You know he wasn't going to hurt or break your heart, he was too caring for that.
