Ah, pens are spilling their blood on the pages.

Whispers. Whispers.

That's probably Gemini.

"And now we have here..."

Oh right...

Another day, another boring class.

Taurus blew a lazy huff under her breath, her cheek resting on her palm that lay supported on the desk in front of her. She was desperately doing her best to take in the discussions her teacher was nagging them in front but the words seemed to drown in the background as if her mind has a mind of its own. The thought about it made her amused, and, before she has the chance to stop herself, a giggle escaped her lips. She quickly purses her lips as their teacher swiveled with swift momentum— something she thought could never happen– around to face the brave idiot (that was her alright) that had the nerve to find her class amusing.

"Who laughed?"

The class, though quiet aside from the whispers a while ago, became silent. Everyone's eyes shifted to each other, searching for that brave soul as if by some sheer luck might locate them and give them an apologizing look. Taurus remained quiet, her eyes, once bored and astray, were now finally attentive, her eyes shifting as well to merge in with her classmates that are confused to avoid arising any suspicion.

"Mr. Leo," The teacher began, and all eyes, included Taurus', inclined at the guy who was seated near the window. Their teacher glared right at him and said, "May I ask what you are laughing about?"

He blinked, his grin vanishing upon noticing the fury and vexation their teacher has for him which only made him confused. He didn't do something wrong did he? He was listening to her all the time no matter how tedious her discussions seemed to be, but two of his best friends, Scorpio and Virgo, were making crude jokes about their teacher and he just couldn't help it but grin at the wrong time.

"I will ask again: what are you laughing about?"

Leo exchanged looks with his best friends that were seated in front of him, looking as if they were urging him to say something— anything quickly for an excuse. Well, that's easier said than done, this is their entire fault. Leo glared at them. Now speaking logically, they were supposed to be in his shoes not him, considering they were the one making jokes about their teacher. It's just not fair. Just because he was grinning doesn't mean he was the culprit of this whole spectacle.

"No answer." Before Leo has the chance to reply, their teacher turned around and declared loudly enough to be heard by the whole class. "Detention after dismissal." The teacher looked over her shoulders and glared, knowing Leo was going to retort; and indeed she was right. Leo already has his mouth open but she beat him to it, saying sternly, "No objections unless you want a conference."

That was enough for Leo to shut up. If anything that would be able to make the students shut up that would be a conference. Simple as that. The teacher nodded, going back to her discussion. Once she turned around, Leo took his notebook and thwacked both of his friends with a silent frustrated hiss. Both looked at him with an idiotic grin as Gemini, who was seated beside him, snickered.

"Thanks a lot for supporting me you shitheads."

"Aw, relax man." Scorp smirked; looking behind him for a moment to make sure their teacher was occupied before looking right back at him, "If there's anyone who should face your wrath that would be that chick over there." Leo followed where his head bobbed. In his 1 o'clock, a brown haired girl was lazing around, pretending to be listening while scribbling or doodling whatever nonsense shit on her notebook. It's pretty obvious that she wasn't listening at all: with that slouching position of hers and that huffs she insinuates every now and then were enough proofs. Leo cocks a brow at the two.

"What about her?"

This time, it was Virgo who had replied for Scorp's stead, "She was the one who laughed which is why our teacher became more stiff than usual." He and Scorpio quickly looked away and faced the blackboard just as their teacher glanced at their direction with her eyes narrowed. Leo just gave a wave and a smile, despite his annoyance at both of his teacher and the girl who was the main culprit of all the incoming trouble she had bestowed on him.

The woman just gave him a suspicious glare, signifying an, 'I'm watching you' before writing random shits on the blackboard. Amidst the screeching sound of chalk being rubbed on the blackboard, Leo flipped open his notebook and begins writing. Gem looked over then smirked before leaning at him and whispered.

"Try not to hit our teacher yeah? Don't wanna receive that conference letter dude."

Leo scowled, "If there's someone here who better well-deserved that fucking conference letter, it would be that girl over there." Gem could only snicker in return before going back to his own world: doodling dark masses and a hero locked in a combat. Leo rips the page from its spine and looked up. His eyes narrowed upon seeing the girl he is annoyed of at this very moment. He glances at his right then at the back to look for any prying eyes before crumpling the page he had just written and, without any hesitation, flung the paper at the girl's location, smirking once the crumpled paper hits the back of her head. The perks of being an MVP in basketball have finally taken its course.

Taurus blinked when a small force met the back of her head. She glanced behind her in confusion, looking for anyone who simply wanted her attention. Her eyes landed on Capricorn and Aquarius, who were seated behind her. Aqua looked up, her eyes shifting on the ground, and Taurus followed where her eyes are focusing— and there it is: A crumpled paper that had probably hit her head.

She looked at Aqua to ask if she has any idea where the paper's origins had come from but she was now focusing in her work. And by the looks of it, she doesn't want to be disrupted from her work; and thus, Taurus just scooped up the ball of paper and faced in front. She looked up tentatively. Their teacher was still busy writing boring lessons on the board, and Taurus took the opportunity and flattened the paper.

Wanna have some fun tonight? ;)

Her brows furrowed onto their own accord, the heat creeping down her cheeks that cannot be possibly ignored. The writing is nothing too fancy, but it's not crassly either; however, the real question is: who owns this thing? Taurus discreetly looked around the room. Everyone was minding their own business: either writing on their notebook or probably doodling, but nobody seems to be acting suspicious. Taurus almost dropped her curiosity— until her eyes landed on green orbs that were watching at the back near the window. The creases on her brow deepened, a frown beginning to form on her lips.

Leo.

Leo could feel himself smirking when her eyes met his. He gave a wink at her, and her scowl deepened, much to Leo's amusement. Maybe...just maybe... He can enjoy this class before detention.

Taurus couldn't believe it. Leo— the Leo, who is an MVP varsity player in her school, was the one who threw this paper at her. It would have made her flattered to no end but it's pretty evident that he was trying to put her into trouble. After their teacher had accused him of her supposed wrongdoing, he was probably trying to put her in his condition. She'll admit, it was her fault and she should've said anything but that was already in the past— well, maybe a while ago, but that's beside the point.

She gave him a glare, and his smirk grew wider, his eyes shifting behind her with amused anticipation. Taurus was confused for a moment— and she stiffened in slight nervousness when a shadow loomed behind her. Aqua and Cap stared at her, their eyes, though emotionless, we're practically screaming at her to turn around already and Taurus did, her mouth opening to explain her status when suddenly; their teacher yanked the wrinkled paper from her grasp in just a matter of seconds. She read the message aloud, much to Taurus' embarrassment as the clusters of red in her cheeks brightened like those planktons in the seashore, illuminating when being provoked by the slightest movement.

"Wanna have some fun tonight? Winking emoticon?" Their teacher raised a brow at her, and Taurus's blush grew more evident when her classmates yapped and teased her. "Please be reminded Ms. Taurus that this is a school, not a boudoir for you to indulge in something so provocative." She said, her eyes, devoid of any emotion, drilling right through Taurus' that the girl almost shrunk on her seat albeit vexed and downright livid at her teacher for humiliating her for something that she didn't commit. But most of it all is her pure rage at Leo for putting her in a hot seat.

The snickering of Scorpio and Virgo had reached her ears, and Taurus swiveled on her torso, glaring at the boys who later on noticed her intense glare. Scorpio just casually waved at her, a lopsided grin on his face while Virgo just gave her a wink. When her eyes glided to green ones, her mood worsened. The smile on Leo's lips is nothing like the flirty boyish smiles he shows off. Rather, it's cocky and full of mock, and his eyes are glinting but Taurus wasn't able to distinguish it because her teacher crumpled the already wrinkled paper, and Taurus turned her attention at her. Their teacher was leaning down at her eye level that Taurus had to lean back just as her teacher said simply,

"Detention Ms. Taurus after dismissal."

..~*~..

"Psst."

Ignore ignore.

"Psst. Hey."

Ignore the bullshit, Tau. Just focus in getting your butt out of here. Don't mind the idiot. Just focus in something else. Her eyes glided onto her notebook and began to observe the lines. Blue line, blue line, blue line— huh, I didn't realize how interesting and fun this could look. Blue line, blue li—

A paper.

A piece of folded paper just appeared on her notebook in just a swish.

Taurus glanced at their proctor. The woman, who is in her mid-40, is currently focusing on her laptop, doing who-knows-what and overall was not focusing on them. Taurus then glanced at Leo, giving him a death glare. Leo pointed at the paper he had just passed on her, mouthing an 'open it' before going on to his work. Taurus rolled her eyes, picked up the paper and was about to tear it up when her curiosity got the best of her. Before she realized what she was doing, her fingers are already moving; unfolding the paper without much of a hesitation and were rather excited.

I'm pretty sure you know my name already but I want to make it fair soooooo, I'm Leo, your future boyfriend. ;) — scoff — what is your name, beautiful?

Taurus could feel her brow twitch. Not that she was annoyed at what he had just stated to himself, but rather at new information that he has no knowledge about her roundabouts. He and she had been classmates for as long as she can remember, and here he was, having no recollection or any memory about her, even just the slightest bit about her profile and their relationship as classmates.

She capped her ball pen after writing out an answer on the same paper that he had used and folds it again before sending the paper back at him.

Leo was just making a script for fun when his letter returned to him. He eagerly took it and read Taurus' message. He silently chuckles, his eyes shifting towards the girl.

First of all, dream on. Second, what a shame. You didn't even know someone who has practically known you half of your life.

Leo grins, passing the note back at her after he was done writing out his message, his green orbs gliding to the proctor just to be safe.

Taurus received the letter and gave him a warning look. If their proctor sees them passing notes, she'll make sure to bring him along with his stupid troublemaking. The girl glances at the proctor before delving in to his message.

Ah, a guessing game perhaps? That's cute, sweetheart. ;)

Taurus scowled, writing out her message.

Look, if you have nothing to say anymore, just leave me alone in my own solitude.

Leo then replies:

Haha, either this or I'll make a fuss that would bring us more trouble.

The nerve of this dude...

Oh my god, why am I even conversing with you? Alright, here's the deal: I'll tell you my name and you leave me alone?

Leo's answer was simple.

Hmmm... No, I'd rather not know.

Taurus scoffs and looks away in a constrained way. There is no point in talking sense with this dude. It's better to keep quiet rather than to indulge him. As if Leo knows what she is planning, he rips another page from his notebook, writes and passes the note at her.

Taurus almost snapped at him, but then he was smiling his dealing smile— something he usually uses to their teachers to gain their favor. Taurus clucked her tongue and unfolded the paper grudgingly.

I want to apologize. I just had to do it because it would be really unfair for me. Truce?

Taurus looked at Leo, her eyes narrowed in suspicion. Leo just gave her a small friendly smile and Taurus finds herself softening a bit. She nodded at him and Leo grins, giving her a thumb up in which Taurus smiles at.

When the bell rang, Taurus almost leapt from her seat in joy. That one bell could only mean one thing: home. And that their detention has finally come to an end. The proctor glances up from her laptop, nodding at Leo for a silent confirmation to go home before calling Taurus. Taurus didn't hesitate and quickly goes to her, saying a soft goodbye at Leo, in which the latter returned.

Once the proctor dismissed her, she quickly went back to the desk where her stuffs are and begins to fix them when a sheet of paper caught her attention. It was neatly placed on her notebook and overall is new. She looked at their proctor for a while before unfolding the paper in curiosity.

I'm just kidding, Taurus. I do know you, and those passing notes we shared? I enjoyed it. I enjoyed your company. Wanna talk more often?

Taurus unknowingly smiled and kept the note in her pocket. She found her eyes moving to the spot where Leo took; and quickly, she shoved her school materials in her bag, and ran after Leo outside, hoping to catch up with him, and maybe invite him for a chat as they ventured home.

Now this is the definition of not just 'another day' for Taurus.
