✮10~ Who's missing?✮ ✅

Sunlight and starlight are the most beautiful lights there are in the world.
Both glow all day or shine all night and don't die without batteries.

Sunlight streamed through the window in fine rays of gold as the sun rose above the distant hills. Catching my eyes as I watched the daybreak. My thoughts variant over many different topics, not really sure which to ponder on first. My Pokémon still slept soundly in the same spots they'd been in before I fell asleep myself, well, apart from Shiver who was curled up closer to my pillow in a protective manner, an act that brought a small smile to my face.

The dream I'd had was still fresh in my mind, surfacing above my other thoughts. Was it real or just a dream seeming to be real? No, it was real I'm sure of it. What else could it be?

But what did Dream mean by 'find her'? Who was I meant to find? Was Dream someone from my past or was she talking about someone else? Well if Amy's pixie Life is her sister maybe the people in Thomas's group know Dream... maybe she was talking about Alice. Why would I be asked to find someone I didn't even know?

I sighed, sitting up, failing to not wake Shiver in the proses. My Glaceon companion looked up at me with her calm black eyes, as if asking if I needed anything. Her eyes were filled with a reassuring wisdom which succeeded in making me smile a little as I rubbed the the crystal headdress like feature adorn her head. It was as cold and smooth as ice but didn't melt a my warm touch. "What am I going to do?" I asked her quietly.

~Glace?~ She questioned, cocking her head to the side in a confused manner.

I shook my head. "Don't worry."

Shiver just frowned but shrugged it off and jumped off my bed, pawing my closed door before giving me a 'let's go then' look. I became aware of the smell of something cooking that was wafting in from under the door bringing a wider smile over my features as I pushed aside my covers to follow her. Hesitating a moment, I glanced back at my other two sleeping Pokémon before pushing open the door, listening to the soft speak of the hinges as I followed Shiver out.

Leaving open the door so that my other Pokémon could come out if they wished, I followed Shiver into the kitchen where Amy was cooking breakfast. The green haired chief smiled when she saw me. "Sleep well?"

"Yeah... thanks." I replied awkwardly, thinking about my social awkwardness as I did.

Amy however, just smiled and set a plate of food down in front of me. "You know Tommy likes you." She raised an eyebrow as I took my seat.

"What?" I frowned, examining the plate if food. It my memories right (which who knows if it it?) it's bacon and eggs. My stomach growled, demanding food like a hungry beast.

"I think that came out wrong. I meant that he likes you cause you remind him of Alice." Amy laughed as she shook her head slightly. "He was head over heels for her but she was to quiet and shy which made him shy so nothing ever happened. But we all shipped them hardcore."

"What was Alice like?"

Amy shrugged. "Like the little sister of the group I guess. She was shy and easily frightened, but no one dared mess with her because Shiver was fearless when it came to protecting her. Generally though, she was quite friendly and actually really good when coming up with unique battle strategies, but she wasn't particularly interested in participating when it came to battles."

I nodded and looked down at Shiver who was nibbling at another purple berry like the ones she ate yesterday. A curious though came to mind, making me wonder if they were her favourite kind.

"You know, if it wasn't for you eye colour and the fact that your hair is longer, you could seriously be Alice." Amy snorted shaking her head. "Your amnesia makes it all quite interesting."

"Amy we have a problem with Dream!" Thomas called walking in the room. "Oh... Err... Hi Shimmer."

I tensed slightly at Dream's name, wondering if the Dream Thomas was talking about was the same one who appeared in my dream last night. "Who's Dream?" I asked, remembering how she has told me not to tell anyone that she spoke to me, so I needed to act like I hadn't seen her, right?

"Dream is... a friend of ours. She's been sick for a few months now." Amy explained hesitantly. She turned to Thomas. "What's up with Dream?"

"I don't know, but Tyson and Alyssa are bringing her here."

"With her here?" Amy frowned nodding at me.

Nick walked in the room. "Her has a name." He mimicked from Amy yesterday making me giggle and Shiver snort with a eye roll.

Amy glared at him. "Do I need to break your arm... again?" She questioned though the hint of sarcasm in her tone proved the question to be rhetorical.

"Umm... look at the time. What's for breakfast?" Nick quickly changed the subject, walking around the kitchen bench to search the cupboards, most likely looking for food.

Amy shook her head, rolling her eyes as she pushed him from her domain. "Food."

Shiver jumped up into the table next to me, helping herself to a piece of bacon from my plate. She gave a 'were-you-gonna-eat-that?' look as she chewed away of the Tepig meat. I shook my head in reply, eating a different piece from the plate instead. "Knock yourself out."

Thomas sat down next to me and Nick next to him. He gave me a cheerful smile as his Umbreon jumped up onto the table, sitting opposite Shiver and giving her a playful smirk. Shiver just raised an eyebrow, inspecting her paw before grooming herself in a cat like fashion, ignoring Dusk completely. But the Umbreon obviously wasn't satisfied with being ignored.

~Umbreon.~ Dusk circled in a cocky sing-song voice.

Shiver looked up and glared at him before lowering her paw and walking to the edge of the table, whacking Shadow across the face with her tail in the process. She jumped off the edge and disappeared around the corner without a word to the Dark type.

"What did you do this time?" Thomas asked his Pokémon in an amused tone. His Umbreon shrugged and started entertaining himself by stealing Nick's food when he wasn't looking.

"So what are we going to do about Shimmer?" Amy asked.

Tomas shrugged. "Tell Tyson and Alyssa that she's staying a while."

Nick snorted. "With Alyssa that might work, but Tyson? Mr-do-things-my-way-or-take-the-highway? How long do you plan that will work?"

Thomas sighed and whispered something to Nick but I couldn make any of it out from my position, Nick however nodded to whatever was said. I shifted awkwardly in my seat as I finished off the last of my breakfast. Gemima trotted into the room, announcing her presence with a small nicker. She came to my side and nudged the back of my rib cage happily nuzzling my hand onto her muzzle.

I gently stroked her white blaze. "Hey girl."

She didn't reply beyond a satisfied snort, twitching her ears beck and forth as she looked up at me with soft blue eyes before looking over to the others in the room, to which I became aware of the strange looks I was getting from them. Blushing slightly, I cocked my head to the side. "Why are you staring at me?"

"Jemima doesn't normally act that way around people." Thomas explained, looking between Nick and Amy. "She normally keeps to herself."

I handed my finished plate over to Amy. "Maybe I knew her." I suggested, watching as Amy sat it in the sink before walking around the counter and turning to me.

"Come with me a moment." Amy said gesturing me to follow, ignoring my statement. "That dress of yours looks a little ragged, it could fall to pieces at any moment."

I looked down at my dress blushing more of embarrassment by the torn edges, I'd hardly noticed the fact that it was practically falling off me with two boys in the room. Though my thoughts soon drifted to curiosity, trying to figure out what had happened as I followed Amy down the hall to the room next to mine. As usual I was left without any answers, instead just a blank slate where my memories should be.

Amy invited me into her room, decorated in a similar way as my own with the exception of the thousands of flowers laying about everywhere, giving the room the fragrance of a clear meadow on a summers eve. Life, the green Pixie whom seemed attached especially to Amy, was sleeping inside a rose like flower that was the perfect size for her to be curled up in. My green haired companion must of seen the amazement on my face because she simply smiled. "I've always had a way with nature."

Life looked up and stared at me a moment, pink eyes studying me up and down before lowering her head, closing her eyes again. ~How long's she staying? I don't know if Joy will tolerate an Alice look-a-like for long.~

The mossy eyed trainer shook her head. "I'll explain later but now," she turned to me with a smile. "We'll get you some new cloths. I'm sure I'll have something that suits you... and you're not to much smaller than me..." Amy turned to her wardrobe and started flipping through her cloths mumbling things about what colour would suit me ,what she had and what would fit me.
