being an employee at a hotline for sad, hopeless romantics was fun and all. it really was. but after a while, you get bored due to the same people coming, recognizing their voice and giving empty promises of "i love you." it kind of felt like being a discord kitten. except it was far more normal. (as normal as it can get for that type of thing.)

you yawned, stretching as your eyes shut closed. you hadn't gotten much rest last night, once the sun caves in and the moon rises, the hotline gets super busy. people crave warmth and validation, especially when it's so cold at night and the bed is empty. so, with little to no rest, no way in hell were you gonna go to school.
