"Star! You gotta help my parents! They will die!" I yell tears forming in my face. She turns around with a sad look on her face.

"Marco, i'm sorry! We'll figure everything out after this war. I must protect my kingdom from the evil!" She says and looks away from me.

"I-I can't belive you Star." I look down a my ripped shoes from all the adventures we went on. I never got new shoes.

"I wish I never met you." I bluntly say and run away.

I bang my head against the wall as I hear the words over and over rolling in my head.

"They didn't make it Marco. I'm so sorry."

"It's part of life, and it's normal to feel sad."
