Personality: cold appearing but sneaky and highly intelligent and thoughtful. Not afraid to say it how it is and make her opinion known. Very practical and skilled in the brutal way Wilds fight. But weak in that she finds herself unable to make meaningful bonds like friendships. In that respect she is alone because all she knows is dedicating herself to serving an Alpha.

Story: While Rumi's particular Wild Pack was sizeable and powerful, many other individual Wild Packs are dotted all over the world, lead by their own Alphas. Though they rarely cross paths and because Wilds are naturally territorial, it rarely ends well when they do.

Though when Selena first arrives in Beacon Hills, Rumi still swears she has seen her before despite her coming from another pack.

Having heard Derek, Rumi and Scott's communicating howls while trying to locate one another, Selena used it to track and soon appeared to the new Alpha Hale during the chaos. Introducing herself as Selena, a Wild who for many years has served as a second to her own Alpha. She was obviously well liked and respected due to her status and ability to talk well, as she explains high ranking members of Wild packs were given the 'privilege' to learn speech unlike Rumi.

Selena was separated from her Wild Pack for reasons she will not fully disclose, but now before the great new Alpha Hale, she pledges her loyalty and offers her services as an experienced advisor to him.

Serving as a Second of sorts to Derek, Selena unlike Rumi doesn't fear his Alpha status and like Emery encourages him to embrace it. Though she urges him to be more aggressive and forceful with it. She is still respectful to him because of status and her ability to talk well means she is an insight into Wild ways that Rumi can't convey, like the myth of the 'Dark Spark'.

Once she is made aware of Rumi's traitor mark and why she is no longer in the Wild, tension between her and Selena rises, straining her relation with Emery too. It is clear she hardly tolerates the blue eyed omega and so when she is gone she is more than happy. Maybe she even helped to get her to leave...

Though she is loyal to Derek and his mission, she has darker intentions for wanting Derek to rise to power than anyone reliazes .
