Chapter IV: Awkward...
Falco went through the pub doors and went straight to the bartender who was cleaning wine glasses. Poeple whispered in amazement as he walked by. Falco waved as he walked by as if this happened every day, which it probably did.
He put his hands on the bar counter in front of the bartender, who was washing dishes. "Excuse me, sir" Falco said a little loud, getting the Bartender's attention. "Has a reddish-brown fox been here? About my height, all... sad?"
"Yea." The wolf said, looking up briefly. "He was in here not too long ago."
"What did he order?"
"A couple of shots, and some na-"
Falco cut the wolf off and slapped his own forehead as he walked out to his car to get Fox sobered.
...
Fox lay in his room, wasted once again, mumbling sad songs as he waved a beer bottle in his hand as Falco burst through his door, taking the bottle out of his hand and throwing it against the wall, making it shatter.
"Hey!" Fox exclaimed. "I was still drinking that!" Falco took a mint out of his pocket, forced Fox's mouth open, and shoved it in. As his mouth closed, Falco flicked him in the nose. "OW!" Fox shouted with pain. "What was that for?!?"
"You need to get your shit together." Falco told Fox. "You cant waste your life away with beer and alcohol! You have been getting worse and worse every day! You are lucky I'm helping you! I dont want to see a great man like yourself have wasted potential built up inside you thanks to alcohol creating a fake reality for yourself."
"You're right" Fox said. "I shouldn't act like this. I've been a terrible friend." He put his hands behind his back and scraped his shoe in an "aw shucks" motion. "And for YOU being such a good friend, Imma make it up to you!" Fox poked Falco's chest.
"Fox, I'm your friend. You dont have to-" Falco was interrupted by Fox's lips crashing into his own, Fox's hands holding the back of Falco's head romantically. Falco's eyes were widened in disbelief and awe that Fox had the bravery to do this.
When Falco was released, he just stared into Fox's eyes, mortified. Fox's ears were down, showing that he had been ashamed or scared.
"I-I'm so sorry" Fox said, his eyes starting to water. Falco sighed and facepalmed.
"Look," Falco started to say. "I dont blame you for that. Lets agree to never let that affect out relationship. Plus, you are shit-faced. You probably wont remember a thing!"
"I guess..." Fox said.
"Now come Fox," Falco said as he grabbed Fox's hand "We need to get you down to Corneria for... reasons."
"Ok...?" Fox stuttered as Falco dragged him to the exit.
Author's note
Hey guys! Mistro here, and this was a really short and awkward chapter to write... mostly because of the make-out scene... But I wanted to say that I only have a few more chapters to go... around 3 before this book is all done. Also, my best firend, Vulzie Cakes, has a Wattpad account too! He was a big help in making this chapter, for I was skyping him through the entire time I wrote this! Check him out! Thank you all for reading this chapter. Im outta here!
